Their bandeja paisa, has gotten even better. Like I didn't even know that was possible. On my last visit, I noticed it was very similar but the way it was served looked different and had a variety of items I've never seen anywhere else in a bandeja paisa. The meat was juicy and delicious. The beans were like something my mom would make. They had both sausage and morcilla (blood sausage), maduro con queso (yes, plantain with cheese inside), an arepa that was not the standard flavorless white corn arepa you get everywhere else, it was like cheesy and had flavor to it. But my favorite part was they actually served it with avocado. Which believe it or not most places don't bother to serve it with (WTH right?!). I even had a tostones in there as well. So yeah....meat, two sausages, rice and beans, fried egg, fried pork skin, arepa, avocado, maduro and tostones. Like seriously what more could you ask for? OH! And I CANNOT FORGET to mention their LEMONADE. Their lemonade is BOMB, like amazing. Like if it's not the best lemonade you've ever had. I don't think you have your taste buds right. It's actually a LIMEADE, in a slushi form, and you can see the little chips of lime in it. It's sooooooooo good. And the glass is HUGE. Bandeja paisa + lemonade. I'm a sucker for all things Colombian...food, music, culture, people... and every once in a while I'll feind on a certain cuisine until I find a new place to obsess over. This place has been it for a minute. It's so consistently good! I normally go for breakfast, so my order is quite simple; eggs, arepas, some protein, and a good cafe con leche. To go, I'll grab a couple pan de bonos or empanadas. It's normally served immediately and I'm out of there in less than 30 mins. The decor of the place is quite appealing. The owner has photos and art displayed on the walls, showing some of Colombia's most beautiful areas. I recommend this spot for anyone looking for good Colombian food. Horrible service and we were the only ones at the restaurant! We walked in and no one greeted us, didn't offer us were to seat or anything. Our waiter a teenage male just throw the menu at us and left. Didn't make any conversation at all. That should have been our sign and left! The food was super greasy and no flavor. Didn't offer us anything to drink and waited forever to give us the checks. Like I said we are the only ones. I wanted to give this place a chance but it's just horrible. If I want Colombian food I rather go to Rico pan pizzeria that's a few stores down or Rico Pan Restaurant. Better food and service! Been here a few times. Small seating area there's not enough space for bigger parties. This place way too over priced. Ordered eggs and cost $2.50 each. How you guys charge $12 on basic breakfast when Latin American charges $5? They take forever bringing out the food and taking orders. Should import more staff from Colombia. Hope they get there act together or else they lose all their business and close down. read more

I came here for breakfast and I can assure you I will not be back. I had their steak, arepa, chesse and rice & beans breakfast. It was all so underwhelming and really just gross. The rice and beans were smelly and funky tasting. The cheese slab looked so unappetizing on my plate as it laid there looking like a block of butter. The arepa was dense and wet like raw sugar cookie dough. The only thing that was remotely tasty was the piece of steak. It was well season and a delight compared to the rest of the plate. Empanada crust is delicious, but inside is just blah. The pan de bono was pretty good in flavor, but the bottom crust was burnt from sitting too long on the warmer. Place was decent, but I won't be coming back. read more

Tried this new spot today and it was delicious! My husband and I both had the sancocho with chicken/hen, rice and avocado all served on the side. Huge portions with huge flavor! The food takes a little longer to arrive at the table, but sooo worth the wait. You can taste the freshness. Looking forward to going back and trying something else. I came to watch a soccer game. Peru vs Colombia. $20 to reserve a table. Warm beer. The video feed down for most of the 1rst half. When it came back, it was betamax quality.
