Dr. Scott is not a buttoned up guy in a white labcoat. He is very smart and with that comes straight talk about your condition, great diagnostic insight, time and perhaps a communication style that is unexpected on your first visit. His casual style however goes a long way in providing comfort and clearly demonstrates a keen level of consideration and caring. His office is bright and quirky...I guess that's how I could describe him as well. I was scheduled quickly, seen at my appointment time and given strategies to help my situation. If you are unable to tolerate dry humor you may miss out on getting good care from this office. read more

Wonderful Doctor and staff! Dr. Scott is very compassionate and and patient; and responds with information that is clear to understand.

How much is your time worth? Ask yourself how long you are willing to wait in an old, dumpy, worn out waiting room to see the doctor before making an appointment here. I waited nearly 30 minutes past my appointment time in a crowded waiting room, only one patient being called into the back during that entire time, before giving up. What is the point of MAKING AN APPOINTMENT if the doctor doesn't keep the appointment. The staff says the doctor can't predict the needs of his patients prior to seeing them, and he runs late. That's a good indicator to schedule appointments further apart - if the doctor runs late, he's overbooked. The staff sure doesn't seem to be stressed or worrying about the multitude of patients waiting as they are too busy chatting, laughing and have a great time within ear shot of everyone around - very unprofessional. Save your time - and frustration - and find a doctor you may actually get to see. Or, clear your calendar for the entire day - you may just spend it with some magazines in a dumpy place overhearing how everyone else's weekend went. read more

Wow, I am impressed with Dr Scott and his office staff! My last experience with a skin doctor was not so great. Went in for a skin cancer check and what I got was a sales pitch for fillers, Botox etc. Dr Scott addressed my issues in a very straight forward manner and never even mentioned fillers! As professional as they get but with a human touch that dignifies you, the individual, and adds a down to earth wholesome kind of caring that you'd have expected from doctors of the past but have sadly disappeared over the decades. Dr. Scott is at once a perfectionist but again, his matter-of-fact approach to the practice of medicine is clear, uninhibited and exacting. He doesn't beat around the bush but he's been around every block in dermatology and knows your condition immediately. Words can't really describe the wonders of this man/genius/healer . . . he is so much more, like a long time friend who you trust and actually look forward to seeing time and time again. I would give 6 stars to Dr. Scott and his staff if I could. Going to a dermatologist is a nerve wracking experience. I wanted some skin spots looked at and found Dr. Scott through the Internet. I called and was able to schedule an appointment the following day due to a cancellation. Dr. Scott's office is conveniently located with ample free underground parking. I arrived 10 minutes early and was pleasantly greeted by the receptionist. Dr. Scott came out and met me exactly on time for my appointment. I immediately felt at ease. His assistant Tracy was so nice and prepared me for my consult. Dr. Scott checked many areas on my body and never seemed rushed. I could tell he was very experienced yet his mannerism kept me at ease. I ended up with a clean bill of health and will be back in a year for another check up. On the way out I inquired about Botox and was able to immediately have 10 units administered to my wrinkly forehead. Tracy did the injections and it was quick, affordable and painless. This was such a great experience that I raced back to my computer to write this review. Also...Dr. Scott has the cutest therapy dog named Lucy who will warm your heart. read more

Truly felt like Dr.Scott cared about my skin problem! He took his time not only to address the problem and provide a treatment plan he made sure I felt good about myself before I left! His attention to not only my issue but my feelings is what made me happiest about my visit! Also the staff is super friendly and helpful. This was a horrible experience. I was referred by my primary doctor for some skin issues I was having on my arms. The doctor came in and I gave a brief explanation of what was going on, afterwards Dr. Scott processed to rip in to me. He said very little about my arm and instead attacked my physical appearance, I was so horrified I hardly said another word, I just wanted to leave. My husband has been a registered nurse for 25 years and also sat there in disbelief. He said he had never heard a doctor in all that time be so disrespectful and attack a patient in such an emotionally abusive way. He really wanted to get out of there because he said if he said anything he would get so upset he was afraid he was going to get physically aggressive with him. I have just been diagnosed with a life threatening cancer and he was so rude, I am fighting for my life and he's digging in to me because I am not a thin good looking person. From other reviews if you physically appealing he's a good doctor, but if not brace yourself to be verbally attacked. read more

A Dermatologist who looks at your skin and not at the possibility of plastic surgery. His old time remedies like baking soda and vinegar for some ailments are fantastic.
