Truly a hidden gem in Carrollton! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something sweet and fresh. I had the strawberries and cream topped with almonds. Omg amazing!! My hubby had the Mangonada, and he said it was super spicy and super delicious. My daughter ordered a Pina colada, and it literally came inside a huge pineapple! Very good, this is the closest we can get to authentic mexican tacos. I usually get the 3 tacos plate with beans and rice. I would say best tacos in Dallas. Im from Los Angeles, so living here now has me trying to find "certain" foods. It is incredibly hard to find Mexican food in North Texas. (NO! Ordered Tacos last night and some refried beans as well as a Horchata. Tacos (Trompo, Al pastor, Fajita, Cabeza, Lengua) Fajita: Little dry but nothing a little lime juice couldn't fix. A-ok Al Pastor: Pretty good. Cabeza: This one was the absolute best. Juicy and full of rich pork flavor. Lengua: Pretty tasty. Trompo: Sort of dry but again fixed with lime juice. Beans: They weren't that good. They put ground beef and the grease from this made the beans watery. They also tasted a little bland and needed a lot more salt. Horchata: This was amazing. Nice mix of Cinnamon and sugar and was not too sweet but just sweet enough to be very refreshing. Would definitely order again. My overall favorite taco was the cabeza (head of beef) and that's definitely the one I'll be craving a LOT. And all of this for around $15. Great deal. read more

This place has great snacks that can't be found in other places. Delicious unique Mexican creations with fresh ingredients. It can be a bit overwhelming with so many tempting options, so my only complaint is that you can feel a little rushed when they have a large crowd but they want to get in you in & out fast, so that's also understandable. The worst Mexican food I've ever experienced. We ordered a three taco plate with rice and beans, a head taco, a tongue taco and a Fajita Quesadilla. Someone needs to show the cook at this restaurant a picture of a fajita quesadilla, because I don't think they know what it is. The "Quesadilla" I received was not even grilled. No toasting, no char, no browning, just a soft, bland white corn tortilla. Inside was some unseasoned ground beef and semi melted white cheese. Totally and completely bland. Not even grilled, man. Who doesn't grill a quesadilla? It's like they just took some Walmart ground beef, some Kraft swiss cheese, put it in a tortilla and microwaved that thing. No peppers or onions were even in it. They threw some sliced, barely grilled, onions on the side with a toasted jalapeno. If you're going to grill the jalapeno, GRILL THE QUESADILLA! On to the tongue taco. This was cold. Again, the meat lacked flavor. They just don't put enough seasoning on it. So, I buried it in some cilantro and onion they gave and dipped it in the green sauce which salvaged it. But, there was no saving the head taco, and this is why this review is getting a one-star, instead of a two-star. Whenever I spit out food into the garbage in shock, the restaurant gets a 0 from me. The head taco tasted like how I imagine feces would taste. Now, this is my first (and last) ever head taco, so maybe that's how they are supposed to taste? I don't know. But, it tasted like uncleaned animal intestines. Like chitterlings from someone who didn't know how to cook and, most importantly, clean chitterlings. That was an experience so disgusting it will remain with me forever, like the first time I ate a brussel sprout. I'm not joking. I still remember that and I will remember this. My mother also hated the three taco plate, with pretty much the same complaints about the bland ground beef. About the only compliment she could muster was that the rice was OK. Her description of her food was in a word: "Subpar". So, we will not be eating here again. At the very least, they're affordable. Not much more than a drive-thru Mexican joint. But, seriously, every drive-thru Mexican joint gave me better food. Every. Single. One. read more

Delicious! Great place for some fast tacos. I ate the fajita quesadilla which was yummy but also huge so don't order it if you're not ready to eat a lot. My husband tried the chorizo, chicken, and pastor and he loved all of them! Which is surprising because he's really picky about his chicken tacos. We also got a side of rice and beans. Rice was great and the beans were just good. I wish they would let you get a side of chips or something because I needed a little bit of a crunch to go with everything else. Used UberEats last night to have this delivered at work. I got 5 Lengua tacos. The meat was excellent, and the avocado salsa was the best I've had in a long time. My only complaint, and the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars, were the tortillas ended up being a little too soggy for my liking. That could have just been because of the time between preparation and delivery. I'll definitely be visiting this place in person soon to give it a shot. read more
