BUT HUGE INCONVENIENCE WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD NOISE: First, the Orchard company nearby (just above the campground) makes noise all day and night!! Then you have the traffic noise of the Highway 2. To finish, you have the train passing by!! You get used to it but really wished it was quieter! WEAR EARPLUGS!! To top it off, it was mowing day, so we had the noise of the tractor mowing grass around where we were the whole day (9:00-4:00pm)!

Everything on the boat was top of the line; Austin was very professional, had productive tactics for catching and was encouraging to every skill level. We couldn't keep the fish out of the boat! Got our limit in record time, and what a treat that the only thing I had to worry about was reeling in the fish. He even cleaned and prepared the salmon so at the end of the day I went home with bags of nicely cut fillets! This was my second trip with Austin's Northwest Adventures and after seeing some of the other's out there I can say with confidence that I will be back and not fish with another guide. He gave detailed instructions, told jokes and made the whole trip a fun experience. Fishing Austin's boat is the way to go if you want to catch fish and have a great time doing it!

Online reservations/waiver were easy to complete, parking was $10 for their reserved lot. Floating the river is now a must-do for us when we visit Leavenworth! It took us about 2.5 hrs to complete without much stopping, but you can definitely rest along the banks and play. Loved the scenic views, and we saw plenty of ducks, tiny fish, and herons! You can bring coolers, would also recommend a waterproof dry bag for any essentials you want to clip to your tube, hat, sunglasses, and your party suit.
