We rented the party barge for 4 hours of fun on the Columbia River, departing from Crescent Bar (which was beautiful!) The party barge was spacious and provided (optional) shade (it was during the July record heatwave of 2021). We packed a lunch and had a great time. The boat was clean and easy to drive. Plenty of speed when needed. We pulled off at the sand bar and had lunch, which was a nice break. Rich & his wife were so helpful and had such a great attitude. They were patient and got us all outfitted with the right size life jackets. He probably wouldn't want me to share this, but as he was helping us tie up the boat at the dock at the end of our time, I think we kept him on his toes and he ended up in the river. He climbed back up on the dock with a big smile on his face. It made our day. He was such a happy guy. I totally recommend Columbia Jetskis. Thanks for everything, Rich!

That one had clad 4 water coming up at me and my girlfriend ever time we hit the rapids, this one was only class 2 rapids . So there was some water splashing . I enjoyed the rock jumping . The guide Ray was good point out some stuff like the bird and other things. Hopefully I will hit the other ride they are doing in Rainier

The bridge is very cool to walk across and see, and as a bonus there is a small little beach area along the river that our dogs very much enjoyed. Some parts of shaded in some parts of expose, so just know that if you are planning to walk this trail in the middle of a hot summer day.

It is an old water pipeline carry water for steam locomotives…read moreentering a nearby tunnel. they simply cut it in half and made it a walking bridge! the trail goes on for quite a while, but would be nice if you could easily get to the waters edge. there are some great pools to float in if you could get down to them! They even have restrooms and a sandy beach on the highway side of river. don't blow by this little gem when visiting Leavenworth, you will love it!

I recently walked this trail with my uncle and my aunt the three mornings I was in Cashmere visiting them (the 10th, 11th, and 12th of November 2020). The leaves were various colors and had started falling over the path, the branches of the trees filtered in the sunlight in patches providing a very autumn feel while walking. Along the river the wind can be strong so if walking in cooler temperatures it is a good idea to wear multiple layers. My uncle and I walked down one of the slopes by the walking trail to the river's edge. Across the river Highway 2 was rumbling with cars and trucks on their way to somewhere. In addition to the walking trail there is a large field area, multiple playgrounds one of which in primarily devoted to swings, a paved skate park and a dirt skate park, and a large picnic area where one can sit and relax. I spotted a couple of restroom buildings but did not go over to check if they were open or closed (due to COVID-19). A cement ramp leads into the river and provides a place one could launch or remove a river rafting boat from the water. On each of our visits, the park was calm and not too busy with people.

Hey Southern California Edison! How many parks in Southern California do you maintain?…read more The Chelan PUD has built 15 parks covering 700 acres around the Chelan County Waterways. The parks were developed under recreation plans required by the federal government as part of the PUD's licenses to operate the Rocky Reach, Rock Island, and Lake Chelan hydro projects. Walla Walla Point Park is one of the parks that the Chelan PUD built and maintains. I visited the park at the end of December 2022. There wasn't much to see in the park as everything was covered by about a foot of snow. There are supposed to be 4 softball/soccer fields here when it isn't covered in snow. There are supposed to be tennis and volleyball courts and a lot of green grass. The trail around the park along the river was nice. The trails were all paved. The snow was removed from the trail by the PUD. If you walk far enough, you can get to the Lindston Barn. The parking lot to the park was also cleared of snow. They have a electric car charging station that was free of charge to the public. It is a nice park whether it is summer or winter. The answer to the question above? ZERO! Come visit this park and see what hydro power can do for you.

Straight up on an incline, rough on the knees coming back down. Just take your time and BRING WATER! Great workout with a beautiful view. My family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids 6/8yo) hiked the entire thing in 1 hour and 10 minutes. We did NOT take any side trails and stayed on the main trail to preserve the natural habitat. Dog friendly, wear appropriate shoes for when you get to the top it's rocky in the area where the saddle rock is. Continue on past that area for a great viewing area with benches and safer photo opp areas.

She gave great instructions for those of us new to e bikes and was patient and clear about how we could maximize safety and fun during the day! The ride was totally awesome, mostly on quiet lake side roads and the most fun on trails. She tailored the ride to our level and we had a great time going fast through back trails on our well-maintained bikes. It was like a fun combo of road biking, gravel riding and mountain biking with the option of kicking on the throttle to move up hills. It was freeing and beautiful - we'd love to come again during another season! And bonus - she knows all the best photo sites for the tour!
