'll make a very, very long story short. I found these guys on Yelp. I was looking for a good dentist because my crown came out. The best advice I can give is "STAY AWAY!" Dr. Roth. This dentist is friendly but very unethical. He charges for work that does not need to be done. And how do we know...right? ... Because we aren't the pros. I've had two other opinions which saved me a whole lot of grief and over 4,000.00 + of "unnecessary dental work! They also will try and reel you back with their "free" dental x-rays and exam. Also they kept calling me back to find out if I was going to do a follow up with them. Ha! read more

I see Dr. Roth or the hygienist every 3 months and not only do they provide great service for my teeth, but everyone, including the front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are very proactive and informative, working with me to find appointment times that work for me, talking with me about issues or my concerns and showing or telling me what I need to do to maintain my healthy smile! One of my main issues and concerns is gum care and Dr. Roth has always seemed incredibly knowledgeable about this and utilizes laser gum treatment among his many other services and treatments. He keeps not only himself but his staff up to date and educated on new equipment and procedures. I have been a patient of Dr. Roth for many years. He explains things well and I trust him implicitly. A few years ago I had a horribly painful tooth- he called in a prescription for pain medication at my pharmacy and saw me on his day off. Dr. Roth, the hygienists and his front office staff are professional and pleasant. I have never had an issue with any of my dental bills or insurance. I make it a point to find out what is covered in my dental insurance and ask any questions before work is done. My family has entrusted our dental care to Dr. Roth for the last eight years (husband, three teenagers and myself). We received two cleanings a year, X-rays as needed (I think once a year or every other year). Once my husband had a dental emergency on a weekend, and Dr. Roth came into the office and helped him. Dr. Roth offers flexible office hours to acommodate most schedules. I appreciate the late night appointments offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It allows me to work full-time in the valley and commute back for a 7:00 pm cleaning. Also, it is really great to receive a reminder call for your appointment. read more

Very much like another review on this site, my family and I had the exact same experience. The doctor is nice enough, but is basically a crook. We are new to the area. My wife made an appointment to see the doctor. He recommended over 4000 dollars worth of work. He had zero concern for our out of pocket expenses as he could have easily spread the work into the next calendar year and had our insurance pay another 1500 dollars of the bill. He cares only about making a fast buck with zero concern for the patient. We are only dollar signs. Even worse, after my wife went and spent 4000 dollars, her teeth continue to hurt. Our son went in for an exam, and once again he recommended 4000 dollars worth of dental work. We took our son to another dentist who said my son had only one cavity(not the 6 cavities DR Roth said he had) and didn't need the deep cleaning or crowns Dr Roth said he "needed right away" . Our new dentist charged us 140 dollars and my said my sons teeth and gums were very healthy. All I can say is STAY AWAY!!! He is not a good dentist and is a crook besides. There are plenty of good and ethical dentists out there that actually care about their patients. read more

Dr. Roth is the BEST! We used him for years but our insurance changed and had to go to the cheap "in & out" dentists for a few years. We knew we weren't getting good care, and finally decided our teeth are more important than cheap insurance. We are back with Dr. Roth with no insurance, out of pocket, and couldn't be happier! I chipped a tooth when I was about 10 years old, and it was an issue for many years. Dr. Roth did such an excellent job fixing it, I can't even tell which part of my tooth is fake anymore. It's been solid now for over six years. I go for routine checkups once every six months. For someone who dreads going to doctors, going to Dr. Roth is a pleasant experience. I have been going to Dr. Roth for many years now, and I can tell you he has helped rid me of my dental phobia! He is very pleasant and laid back, and recommends what he feels is needed to prevent any further gum or teeth problems. When performing any procedure that requires numbing, he explains EXACTLY what you are going to feel before he does it, will stop if you signal him to do so, and provides a relaxing and friendly environment in general. The staff is also very friendly, and the hygienist is very knowledgeable and thorough, and believe me, I have had BAD experiences with other hygienists in my past (which contributed to my "dental phobia"). I don't know what the other bad reviews were all about, but I think Dr. Roth is VERY ethical and reasonably priced. The thing is, if you don't take care of your teeth and gums regularly at home, you can expect to have dental issues at some point. So, perhaps the bad reviewers had previously failed to take good care of their teeth and are now suffering the consequences! read more
