Had service with this team for years. From the front office staff and the billing process to the cleanings to the premier service of Dr. Nouri this is first class care that is rival to none. Recently I changed for a variety of reasons and ran back to this practice humbly and asked to come home. No one cares for your mouth the way they do. Yes it is busy here. My wife's friend introduced us to Thousand Oaks Dental Spa and I'm sure glad they did because this place is awesome. Upon checking in, you can decide if you will like different types of aroma's in your room, eye covers, music, and neck pillows. I never associated a Dentist with amenities so you can understand my shock when I arrived. After my initial cleaning, Dr. Nouri spoke with me about a child canine tooth I had that was locked in due to the adult canine tooth that came in behind it. FIRST TIME PATIENT Had bad experiences before at the dentist. Had put off looking for a new one. Finally took the time and found TO Dental Spa on Yelp is and I'm so glad I did. Called them Monday and they let me know that the very next day they had an appointment open in the morning. All I was looking for was a cleaning and x-rays. Showed up 10 min early to get the paperwork completed and then had my choice of options of what I wanted between a movie, music, aroma therapy, a neck pillow, etc. It was awesome. Was blown away. Amazing dental experience. Waiting room was inviting and front desk personnel is very kind. The cleaning itself was A+ enhanced by the ability to be able to watch a movie at the same time. I love everything & everyone at T.O. Dental Spa!!! I'm a hot mess when it comes to going to the dentist but Dr. Nouri & the entire staff makes going to the dentist very "Doable" and trust me, that's no easy task! I was so afraid & embarrassed of my teeth but Dr. Nouri's calm demeanor made me feel everything would be alright. I had a giant space in my mouth from a tooth that had to be pulled YEARS prior and I was super self-conscious about it. I was just waiting for him to say, "Wow...what happened here" but he never did. Instead he actually said everything looked pretty good and asked me if "I" had any concerns. I really appreciated his non-judgemental approach and ability to make me feel so comfortable. Well to date.... I have had several procedures done and even got an implant! I almost forgot how good it felt to chew food with both sides of my mouth. Trust me, I totally get putting off going to the dentist but making that first step will be the hardest, the rest is all downhill. It really is worth the time and money. I had my first experience yesterday at Thousand Oaks Dental Spa and it was by far the best dental experience I have had. I have been struggling with my teeth for year (my Dads Brittish...) My last dentist just kept pulling them out! I then went to a place called Clear Choice- who for the low low price of $30500.00 would extract several more and give me all new teeth. I really didn't want to go to get a second opinion but everyone kept pushing me so I made an appt. From the office staff, the dentist and hygienist I was so so comfortable and my nerves were gone. The dentist explained that I didn't need anything else extracted and that we could come up with a plan. Don't get me wrong - the heated neck pillow and paraffin was amazing but didn't be fooled - this is a first class dental office with fantastic staff who know what they are doing! read more

Best dental cleaning experience of my life! After I had chickened out of my last deep cleaning with a previous dentist's office, I was able to finally get an appointment with Dr. Nouri and staff. The front desk was warm, welcoming, and helpful. From the spa list, I selected the warm shoulder wrap, the eye mask, headphones with relaxing music, and the paraffin hand treatment. My dental hygienist Brianna was so gentle! She also got a lot of tartar off my teeth that my other dental hygienist did not (!!!) and it had only been just six months since I had a cleaning. Must say, this was the first and only time I've ever been completely relaxed during a cleaning, not fearfully clutching the chair handles. And, for the first time, I actually enjoyed my teeth cleaning. I'm looking forward to my next appointment in a few weeks for a few fillings, and call me crazy, but I just might enjoy that too. So let me start out by saying I called this potiential dentist office on Monday. Asking if they accepted new patients. She quickly said yes and asked me who my insurance was though. I gave her all my insurance info and member ID number. She put me on hold and came back and said that she does accept my insurance. So I made an appointment for a few days later. I have a very impotant job which I had to leave during a meeting to come to an appointment which was supposedly verified. When I arrived this morning. The young lady at the desk immedatly upon hearing my name told me that they do not accept my insurance !! And quickly through out a blatant lie telling me that they sent an email yesterday telling me that my insurance was not accepted. WHY LIE TO A POTIENTIAL CLIENT?? If you are embarressed about the lack of communication with a potiential, just be upfront about your office's mistake. I would have paid the $170 fee. but You lied to me and that insulted my intelligence. Wow this was an opportunity for a business to shine and show integrity. EPIC FAIL!! Not only did I have to rearrange my work schedule and drive back through the canyon 40 minutes. But I was lied to bold face, which is what really upsets me. I have 2 cell phones and the nature of my business is to be precise with emails, and our's clients needs. But when your the best that's how you handle clients, leads, etc. WHY WOULDN'T YOU HAVE JUST CALLED ME THIS MORNING TO TELL ME THAT MY INSURANCE DIDN'T COVER? WHY NOT CALL YESTERDAY WHEN YOU SUPPOSEDLY SENT OUT THAT 'EMAIL"??When I walked in you were just sitting there? A simple call is all it takes. Incompetence, lack of proper training. IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY WHEN I FILLED OUT THE FORMS MONDAY AS REQUESTED I HAD INITIALED A SECTION WHICH STATES IF THE CLIENTS DOESN'T NOT CALL OR CANCEL THEIR APPOINTMENT THERE WILL BE CHARGED $100 DOLLAR FEE. WELL I SHOULD CHARGE YOU $200 FEE FOR WASTING MY TIME AND TAKING AWAY FROM MY BUSINESS!! I"ll invoice you This is Marketing 101 Dr., train your staff. Albeit great customer care goes a long way regardless of the situation. You can have a fountain in the middle of your office and fresh squeezed orange juice, but it can never make up for bad client service. I don't mean to sound hyperbolic, but this is the best dentist I have ever visited. From a purely practical standpoint -- I like that he was the first dentist to not try and push me to have surgery on one of my teeth with a gum line that has slightly receded. Every other dentist has told me I need surgery to prevent it from progressing (despite the fact that I've had it stay this way for years). Dr. Nouri told me we'll keep an eye on it. If it starts to go further, we'll operate. Until then, we'll let it be. Finally, some common sense. He was also efficient and pleasant to interact with. And his dental hygienist Becky was phenomenal. Least painful/uncomfortable cleaning I've ever had. Honestly, I barely even felt her work most of the time. And she was very friendly and had a soothing demeanor. On top of all that -- the amenities at this dental practice are out of this world. Where else can you watch a movie (or tv show... or listen to music) while you get your procedure done? That's not even to mention the optional massage pad, warm neck pillow, or paraffin wax hand treatment. Just... wow. I actually enjoyed my dental visit??? They could've worked on me the entire length of the movie and I wouldn't have cared. That has never happened before. I am sold on this dental spa. Never going anywhere else. Unless I move I guess. I have been going to TODS for 6 years, and it has been a wonderful experience each time I visit. I used to work in the area, and even though I work in Burbank now, I would never even consider going anywhere else. The staff is so friendly and Dr. Nouri is great! You feel very safe at this office. I've been going to TO Dental Spa for over two years now and their service is just amazing. Making appointments, cancellations, re-schedules are easy, although they do book up pretty quick. Patients can choose from music or movies as entertainment during the treatment, along with a massage chair pad, paraffin hand wax and warm pillow. The doctors itself are very efficient and explain what's wrong before the treatment well. They take most insurance providers and I've been really happy with their experience.
