Nonetheless, my surgery was prepaid in full, which the doctor requires to book the date, which is odd to me but nonetheless, guess what? Fighting to get my money back. Imagine that. I didn't have surgery yet they don't want to give me back over 20k. I have sent multiple notes to the office demanding my money back and still nothing. Thankfully I can dispute it with my credit card company. Extremely extremely disappointed in this experience.

She told me what I wanted to hear in my consultations, acted like the most confident surgeon ever and then had no idea what she was doing. My first surgery had poor results which she offered to fix at no cost to me. When she tried to fix it, she only made it worse. She has permanently altered my confidence and I struggle with accepting my appearance daily. In the attached picture, photo 1 is my original nose. I wanted to remove the bump and have a straight nose with no slope (as pictured in photo 2). Photo 2 is a digitally altered photo that was provided to me by a surgeon I consulted before using Dr. Tadros. Dr. Tadros was shown photo 2 as a reference and promised me that this is the result I would get and it would have "NO SLOPE". Photo 3 is the work of Dr. Tadros. She probably has forgotten all about me by now..... but I think about her every day.

He has a huge amount of experience and certifications, which is absolutely what you want to see from a medical professional. The office is comfortable and is really great about scheduling as well. I have never had a problem finding an appointment. They really work with patients and understand peoples' scheduling demands. I like that there is a cozy feel to the place as well. I was so tired of getting lost in giant practices. At Dr. Angyal's when I walk in, I'm sure to be made comfortable.

Because he had done her original fusion and had such a strong reputation, we trusted him to give us an honest assessment. I brought her most recent CT and MRI scans, along with lab results showing a GFR of 17--the morning of that second surgery--indicating she was not an appropriate surgical candidate at the time. I also presented the report showing that a Coflex device had been used directly above a prior fusion, something that multiple sources list as contraindicated. Dr. Hale spent only a few minutes with her, glanced at the scans, and said everything looked fine. He offered no comment on the labs or the contraindicated device and simply recommended outpatient therapy. After her condition rapidly declined, we sought a second opinion from a top spinal surgeon at HSS, who reviewed the same imaging and said she was in urgent need of surgical intervention at that time. Unfortunately, by then it was too late. My mother is now wheelchair-bound, on dialysis three times a week, and unlikely to survive more than six months. She will live out what time she has left in pain--and in torment--knowing that those she once trusted to protect her instead looked the other way. From where I sit, it seems doctors protect their own, even when a patient's life is on the line.

My insurance covers it... doesn't hurt to see what is going on. However, in light of the coronavirus school shut downs and working in a school needing to prepare for that and for my own children, I thought it was best to cancel. I mean, Who really wants to go to a doctor's office right now unless they absolutely need to and really need the help! So, I call to cancel. The rude, completely unprofessional woman on the phone asked me why I was canceling. I told her why. Her response was, "Whatever!" Wait, what?!
