Spent time to educate me on basic easy door maintenance to avoid service call in future. He literally saved me time and money. He was able to repair and not entirely replace. While trying to find someone for this job, I talked to two other businesses with high ratings. Business #1 laughed at idea of repair and insisted on complete replacement which was a few hundred more. I called Danny shortly before noon on a Friday because of a broken spring, which prevented me from opening the door. Danny assured me he would be able to get to me that day. True to his word, he and his assistant arrived just after 3pm. He then explained to me that the home builder had (15 years ago) installed only one spring. While technically legal, and cheaper for the builder, the door was designed to function best with two springs. The team removed the old spring and installed the two new ones in less than 30 minutes. Danny also did NOT try to sell me on an expensive annual maintenance program. Instead he advised me on how to do my own cheap and easy maintenance every two months or so. Our garage springs broke the evening before, so we called a few places in town. Although the prices of all the ones I called are fairly similar ($150 for one spring, $200 for two springs), the one difference was that Danny took the time to explain the two options available for replacing the spring and also the warranty he provides (10 years) on the product. You can tell he wanted to educate the homeowner on some basic information about the product and he cares about the business. I contacted Danny after the torsion spring above my garage door broke. He came out the next morning at the appointed time and he called to advise he was on his way. He informed me that although there was only one torsion spring installed on our door the manufacture specified there should be two. He suggested a second spring would be beneficial to assist opening the heavy door. He replaced the broken spring, installed the second spring and tested and made minor adjustments for a smooth operation in less than 30 minutes. About a month later my old 21 year garage door opener finally failed and we decided to replace it with a newer, more powerful opener. We installed it ourselves and after installation the garage door would not close all the way and had about a 4 inch gap at the bottom. I contacted Danny and he came out and quickly diagnosed and solved the issue. He went above and beyond with superior customer service and his vast knowledge and expertise is amazing. Both of my garage door cables popped off which caused my torsion spring to unwind. My dad warned me not to attempt to rewind the torsion spring myself because of how dangerous it can be. So I called Danny. Danny told me that he would come out and give me a quote for no charge. Danny was very professional and did a wonderful job of showing me what was wrong. He gave me what I felt was a very reasonable quote to make the door functional so I can get my garage cleaned out. He had the door fixed that same day he came out to give me the quote.
