It was a Friday night so I didn't think anyone would be open or around. I put plywood up to cover the garage stuff. That wasn't really a solution. I contacted J Anthony on Saturday and he came out that day to make an assessment. He was able to get a drop-down done, basically a temporary solution, but the garage was now closed. He called on Monday after calling the original garage door manufacturer since we needed new panels or a whole new door. The manufacturer would only sell door panels to home builders or homeowners with their company installing, so their hands were tied. However, they still got me a quote and made a recommendation based on the pricing and let me know they would proceed however I wanted to. We ended up, months later, getting a whole new door. But I really appreciate that they went through the process of getting me quotes and following up with me, even though they knew that they wouldn't be able to do the job because of the manufacturer's restrictions. I think this says a lot about J Anthony Garage Doors: they are customer-service driven, honest, and reliable.

I had called two…read moreother garage door places that had never returned my several phone calls so finally I talked to Chris Presley the owner of Presley Doors in Fayetteville and told him of my frustration with the two companies that never returned my calls, and all seemed to be o.k. with my talks with him. He came over and gave me a good price on changing out the 2 doors. He set it up for a Tuesday to install. O.K., well, he never showed up to do the job nor did I get a call informing me of anything. I thought, well maybe something happened to detain him and I let it go and thought I'd hear from him or maybe he'd be there the next day. By Thursday still no word. I text Chris and asked what happened to our appointment for installation Tues.? Wed, Thursday . . . now 3 days without a call of any kind. His reply was, well the shipment didn't come in that he expected to get the doors now either Friday or Monday and he assured me that he could count . . . because he had a degree in engineering. I said: "well maybe you need a degree in common courtesy" I said would you please keep informed on the status of the job. That is all that was said, word for word and I never saw him Friday, never saw him Monday, never got an update phone call, text, nothing. I wasted about 3 weeks with this guy and I told him originally I had a renter moving in, in two weeks and needed to know that I had someone on this job and that it would be taken care of. He assured me all would be fine and I got absolutely Nothing! My partner and I have 9 houses (that's a lot of garage doors and could've been a great customer for him) but, I will never waste my time on this guy again. Use at your own risk. If you have time to waste, this is your man. I have since found someone else to do the doors.
