Then when I call to speak to someone the answering service leaves a message, sends an email but no call back or email. Supposed to come to service furnace today but no call no show. When I called the answering service I was told the part didnt even come in yet.. wish I would have gone with Horizon.. Update..2-23-26...today Keven called me who, according to him has no experince in this field. Supposedly he was a coach prior to getting the job at Fantes. As the conversation was becoming heated. He said to me, "dont have this conversation go this way" he then proceeded to say "you sound angry". I replied, i am not angry but I am upset over the fact that I have left a message for approximately 2 weeks and no one has called me back. Then he yelled " I just got the message on the 17th and I called you back" I replied, so who is getting angry now". So as I was still talking and he was trying to speak over me. He eventually hung up on me. Now how professional was that. I will be reaching out to the GM Ken

DO NOT USE FANTES!!! I've never been so frustrated with a contractor in my adult lifetime…read more Recently bought a new home. My air conditioner died, Fantes came out and looked at the HVAC and Hot water heater as well. It was the original HVAC system. Fantes representative said by upgrading the HVAC unit I would save 20-30 in gas bills. Quite the opposite happened. My usage, not amount of the bill, but my usage has gone up almost every month sometimes by 40-50%. No one could figure out why! I felt lied to, made promises of saving me money etc. and got ripped off beyond believe.

I wish I could leave zero stars . Dan came to my home on May 13th 2021 to find a leak in my bathtub…read moreand fix it. The floor /carpet was continuously was wet on the outside of the bathroom every time we showered. He came , drilled a hole in my wall and told me that his findings were that the leak came from my shower stall , and it's not in his scope of works to fix that. He charged us $266.56 for the service visit and left . I was never told about the service visit fee when I called requesting his service , and I had not asked , I guess because I was desperate We put a towel to catch the so called leak , but the towel remained dry, and floor continued to get wet everytime we showered. Eventually, my husband and I decided to rehab the bathroom stall and when the contractors came out to look at the work to be done they identified that the leak was actually from the bathtub waste over flow drain lever trip face plate. It was rotted and because of that the water was spilling over. They found it through the very same hole in the wall that Dan made. I have called and texted Dan several times , even providing him with pics of the findings . His response was very blasé the time we spoke and I reminded him that I paid him over $266.56 to find the problem and fix it and he told us the wrong thing. I gave him more than enough time to respond, and to find a solution to this problem , and I've gotten no response. I cannot wait for my ceiling to cave in and I have no choice but to reach out to someone else to have this fixed. Buyer beware this individual may charge you high fees for nothing. What a waste of time and money !

They came out to check our furnace... about 25 years old. Were there for less than 15 minutes…read moresaying it needed a new inducer fan or a new furnace. Either $1200 or $14,000. Of course since the fan would fix the problem we opted for the fan. Came back with the fan 5 days later and during installation said, oh you could have a carbon monoxide if you don't get a new furnace. Really??!!! Of course we don't want a carbon monoxide leak! So what, install the fan for $1200 and then a whole new furnace weeks later??? Why put the fan in in the first place if we're going to have to get a new furnace??? And then they charged us for the fan installment after never putting it in!!! Disputing the credit card charge and will never recommend... just the opposite!

We rented a large home in Shamong where the property owner had a service contract with Medford…read moreHeating & Air Conditioning. Remember that these people get paid up front for a service contract, so the less parts and labor they provide means more profit for them. So there's already an incentive NOT to properly repair or replace a part. For months we put up with an air conditioner that wouldn't cool, and a flooded basement on quite a few occasions, due to a frozen evaporator A-coil and a defective condensate pump. I got suspicious of what this company was actually doing to "repair" the A/C system. It turns out that they had a relationship with the property owner who told them to do the minimum amount of repairs, because she planned on selling the property. So after a few useless recharges of freon, an employee tipped me off that their service manager knew that the system was shot, and told his service employees to just go through the motions and recharge it once in a while. And their office was part of this scheme, lying to me over the phone about what was wrong. This totally unethical business practice put my family, including my two girls with special needs, through hell over a hot summer. I was in the process of purchasing this home and had an agreement of sale drawn up, along with a disclosure form. But once I had a home inspection done and learned how bad the heater and air conditioning system were (along with the roof, septic, etc etc), I immediately changed my mind and never signed the agreement. I also told my neighbors what kind of service operation Medford Heating ran. Fortunately, I bought a much nicer home out of town for much less money, without these issues. And I escaped from Medford Heating as a service provider.
