My sister and I live on the west coast and shipped flowers to our mom for her bday via teleflora, but when they arrived they looked like complete hot garbage with wilting flowers and filler branches that were in really horrible condition. Such a huge disappointment considering the amount of money we spent. Also, the local contractor florist they used only added to the shittiness of this experience as they had really poor phone manner (talking over me, really abrasive and defensive, etc) after I requested a refund from teleflora. After apologizing to my mom, she mentioned that we should order from Donna next year (my moms store is in the same intersection as Donna's) as all her flowers and arrangements were not only beautiful but of high quality. I called Donna's a bit past noon, not thinking they would be able to do such a rush order last minute, but they were able to put together quite possibly the most beautiful arrangement I have ever sent my mom, and delivered it within an hour. All I had to do was tell them a bit about her style, what colors she liked, my budget, and the end result perfectly fit my moms personality and style. I cannot express just how much Donna saved us from a really disappointing bday gift, how thankful my sister and I are, and how happy my mom is with her flowers. Thank you Donna!! You are immeditley welcomed by Donna herself and her sweet white Terrier Kasey. We instantly felt we were in the right place when we walked in to Donna's shop after being to a few local shops that just couldn't make us feel comfortable. We waited a bit long to get our flower arrangements in order for our August 12 wedding, but even with short notice Donna was able to get right to work and make our dreams come true. We were on a pretty tight budget and she worked with us until we got what we wanted and we could still afford it without breaking the bank. She worked with every change and gave us the best advice to make sure our flowers looked absolutely beautiful the day of the wedding. Her knowledge and relationships with vendors is like any other. We were truly blessed by God to have such an amazing florist for such an important day. Let me tell you our flowers were absolutely breathtaking, our guests couldn't stop commenting on all the beautiful arrangements and how they just hadn't seen flowers look so full and keep composure throughout the day even with the heat and at the beach non the less. Donna made my wedding vision a reality. She came highly recommended from a friend of mine and did not disappoint! My bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, the groomsmens' boutonnieres, the centerpieces were perfect - roses, orchids, berries, hydrangea - all high quality and in the colors that I had envisioned. The flowers were full and healthy. Donna also used two large birch containers full of LARGE, beautiful green hydrangea, birch sticks and various other flowers and berries at the altar - it really set the tone for our wedding. Our unity candle arrangement was simply gorgeous. I wanted white birch incorporated throughout our wedding - so Donna found us white birch containers for our centerpieces and filled them with lovely hydrangea, berries, roses, etc. At the end of the night, guests took the centerpieces home. With the fall colors outside, the centerpieces just seemed to compliment the season. All in all, Donna's hard work was one of the reasons our wedding day turned out to be so perfect.
