I noticed we also got a different presentation of food with chips in a paper bag rather than plated with our food like the others? The food seemed to be good but honestly was overshadowed by the uncomfortable feeling we were being treated differently? We were the only people of color during that time- and all of us felt like that could've been a factor... Otherwise, I try to stay impartial- so the vibe was cute and the food was good- but the experience was not comfortable

(Hard to believe that so many people do not follow simple instructions.). There was also plenty of butter and jelly on the table. (Again, why do I always have to ask for these simple things?) Anyone from our group that came here returned with positive statements about their lunches and dinners. They do a good job and should be recognized for it. Juice was okay. Coffee lukewarm. Problem, no way to stir creamer and sweetener since there weren't any spoons in the rolled silverware. Cheese omelette with ham was the only warm thing on my plate. Cold hash browns and English muffins. I didn't check out the buffet which was another option. I didn't see any staff checking the stations to see if any items needed replacing. Sunday, we had the buffet, not much better than Saturday's ala carte. Dried out scrambled eggs, pancakes that couldn't be cut with a knife. Only good thing was the bacon. $16 for the buffet, beverages separate. For the amount of the room, you'd expect a decent breakfast. Update, the hotel refunded both breakfasts. My comments have been shared with the restaurant's manager and the hotel's general manager.
