After their "diagnostic," I was told my rotors were warped and agreed to repairs totaling about $2,200, believing they had actually identified the problem I came in for. They didn't. The original noise, wobble, and vibration were still there. I brought the car back, and suddenly they discovered that my driveshaft was completely loose--and now I'm being quoted another $1,500+ just for the part. How does a shop perform a diagnostic for noise, wobbling, and vibration and completely miss a major driveline issue? I spent thousands of dollars based on their diagnosis, the actual problem was never fixed, and now I'm expected to spend thousands more for something that should have been identified the first time. At this point, I feel completely taken advantage of. I would not trust this shop with another repair.

The quote went from being $2,000+ to about $500. I felt that his willingness to dialogue with me made all the difference, and I could tell quite plainly that he was completely honest, experienced, and also straightforward. Sure enough, he was able to work some magic on my catalytic converter, replace some spark plugs, and tweak a couple other things here and there. I originally took the car because it had failed an emissions inspection. When I arrived to pick it up, I found that he had taken the liberty of bringing the car to an emissions place and had already gotten it passed. The paperwork was sitting on my dashboard. It's been about 3 months since then; I wanted to wait some time to confirm that my issues would not return. I had a diagnosed issue by another shop with a big estimate, after googling the scale of the repair was between $300 and $600, my estimate by the other shop was $1357. This shop did the work and some for $406, within a day, fixed perfectly and on top of it with great friendly service. Especially as a Women, that are often by a male run repair shops being taken advantage off, not by these guys. You can certainly trust this shop, forget about the flashy lobby and the free coffee, all that matters is that your vehicle is professionally repaired, you are treated fair and with respect. Do not hesitate to let them take care of your 4-wheel baby.

Jay showed me the exhaust problem (corrosion and rust) and told me that he didn't do that kind of work and I needed to go to a muffler/exhaust place. Jay was thorough and efficient.
