I've been to Dons twice in the past 9 months, each time I've dealt with Scott. Right before Christmas, Someone was parking and hit my 2 year old truck on the rear and side. They stayed with my truck and notified me they were the one who damaged my truck (there are still decent people in the world). Dons did the repair and it looked as good as new. The repairs were done quickly. They also cleaned the interior prior to me picking it up. That was an added bonus since I have two young kids who make a constant mess in my truck. Fast Forward 7 months and a tree fell on my truck as we were driving through rock State Park. Luckily, no one was hurt. I had it immediately towed straight to Don's. I got in touch with Scott and he was great to work with again. He even advocated for me when the insurance adjuster missed a few additional repairs. He called a few places over the course of the week for several weeks to get one part that was on back order. I feel like he went above and beyond. I just got my truck back and it looks like brand new. And again,they cleaned the interior prior to me picking it up. Hopefully my truck won't need body work ever again, , but if it does, I'd take it back to Scott at Dons. I have no complaints with them at any point in the process. I had a deer hit the front bumper of my 2019 Subaru Forester Sport. I have had many great experiences with Don's Automotive and it was my luck that State Farm works with them. Scott Rinaca wrote up the estimate and handled all of the paperwork. I dropped my car off and 2 days later is was done. The repair had the front end of my car looking brand new again. I had a car inspected here . They found a ton of things wrong. Little did they know I took it to a master mechanic to do the repairs and they said none of the defects were needed. Hmm. I did not do anything to the car took it to another inspection place and it passed. Hmm. I drove the car for about six months and sold it to someone in pasadena and it went through inspection with zero defects.This may be an isolated thing but be smart if something is told to you. read more

Very poor customer service and rude people. Had a 4pm appt. Got there and no one acknowledged us standing at the counter for a awhile. No one else in the place, 2 guys behind counter at their desks. Took them 15 minutes to help us. Finally went out to look at car for body work. Guy did the write up and photos. Said to call him if we did not here from him in a week. 10 days went by so my wife called. Person she talked to was rude like they did not care about helping her. Said body shop was on vacation and they would call us back when they could work on car. Never heard from them after almost 2 weeks. We already went elsewhere in that time and car is being worked on at other shop already. Also they did not have masks on per state law for covid. read more

Very disappointed. I had gone to Don's several times and thought I was going somewhere that I could trust that I was being told the truth until I had new tires put onto my Toyota Highlander. As soon as I left the shop, my flat tire light was on and has been on ever since (over a year now). When I called to ask why, I was told that it was probably because my spare tire is low. NOT TRUE! I was just told by a very well known mechanic in PA where I live now that he tested each tire for a sensor and got no signal from any of them. He even took off the front tire and took it apart to check. They either removed them or broke them and didn't have the decency to tell me. It's ALL ABOUT MONEY! These sensors are very expensive to replace! Needless to say, I will have to keep riding with the tire light on since I can't afford extra repairs. Thanks a lot Don's. I won't be back! read more

This place is a joke. No customer service skills. Was told I wasn't able to bring 2 of my cars in for oil changes on the same day because "that's not how they make their money." Brought one car in and was told it'd be ready after lunch and I'd get a call when it was done. Having previously serviced my car here, I knew they wouldn't call, so at 1:45 I called, and sure enough, my car was done! Came to pick it up and was ignored by 2 people in the office, until I finally got the lady's attention. Cost for oil change and rotate, $97.00!!! They put full synthetic in my car, which I didn't request, nor does my vehicle require. The guy there adjusted it to cost after I pointed it out to him, which still cost me $78 for oil change and rotate! I was in the automotive industry for 20 years. I cannot believe that a company with such horrible customer service and high prices is still in business. It's a shame cause I wanted to support a local business, but I will take my business elsewhere after this! read more

Yes,a brand new battery on my truck kept draining.A friend HIGHLY recommended Don's Automotive. I went there. It turns out,it was the radio draining the battery.Littel did I know that my friend offered to get my truck a new radio. When I found out,I was dead set against it.I was planning on something else. My friend said the radio was in.I went there to tell them I didn't want it.The old lady behind the counter said either way they would charge my friend. I was forced into doing something against my will .If this is how they treated me there,how many other customers have they made threats to charge them. Used for service and body and paint. They have picked my daughter and I up and dropped us off at home to perform the service for our vehicle to help us out. They just recently picked up my car and dropped the car back off the same day. The have the quality you would expect from a dealer but the feel and coziness of a ma and pa shop. Mike and Scott have both helped my family out. Highly recommend! read more
