Now I am going to bring Zac my Mercedes and Lincoln; I discussed both cars with him, and he was very knowledgeable about both. I gave them instructions on how to reproduce it, just drive the car on the highway -My car needed a regular service -I wanted to reset a warning light on the dash. They wasted my time and I left with more problems. They told me they would get to it that day on site. Then called me and told me they would not be able to get to it till the next. They don't even inspect it till the afternoon of the next day, and want to keep the car for another day. The next day they told me they were not able to reproduce the sound. I go in and immediately reproduce the sound with a tech in the car on the highway. They say they will look at it. I leave. I come back and they tell me they "aren't a shop specialized in fixing that problem" go to a different shop. Fine, I appreciate the honesty. They give me my car back. I turn on the car. Sound still there, Car regular service timer not reset - Such a simple thing, if they're cutting corners here what else are they cutting corners on? Warning light not reset. I go back in , ask them to reset both warnings. They come back, warning light needs a physical part and they need another part that they want to charge me for ~20 dollars, and for me to wait another few hours. They did reset the service timer. At this point they've wasted enough of my time. I leave, paying few hundred dollars for the service and them having wasted 3 days of my time. I go to a different shop. The fix is so simple they fix it for free in 20 minutes. Also they spam you with advertising texts despite never asking. In summary: They didn't fix any of my original problems, needed me to micromanage them to follow basic instructions to diagnose, are slow and incompetent.

A bolt broke and rather than just saying, 'sorry, come back next week,' Scott and Rocky, one of the owners, drove all over Michigan to get the parts on Saturday--when they're closed--and then asked their head mechanic to come in from vacation on Sunday morning to get it all fixed in time for a long trip. I felt awful that they did this, but they wanted to get this right and get us on the road. I HIGHLY doubt another shop would go so above and beyond. In fact, I share with them there's going above and beyond and then there's Ric and Rocky level; honest, fair, and they place service above self. Now the original review: A friend of mine recommended them, for which I am very grateful. We had gone to a big chain store to get a tire, but they screwed it up. They also misdiagnosed other issues. When I called to explain the situation and also that my wife needed the car to go on a long trip, they quickly moved to action and got everything sorted. They were very clear in what the issues were, communication, and pricing. They also stayed an hour and half late in order to finish the car so we could get on the road. One other thing that's noteworthy is that their store is very clean and welcoming with a great image of old Plymouth. It points to how they care for the customer and want to do the best. Oh one of the things is that the owner drove me home when I dropped off the car after I shared I planned to get Uber. I wish I knew about these guys years ago, but they are now going to be my go-to place.

He's friendly as long as you leave a 5 star review... Here's a copy of my google review: Tried upselling me a front brake job for nearly $400. Told me all my front brakes needed replacing. Just took apart my brakes, pads were completely fine, drivers side rotor and caliper were fine. Only thing that was wrong was my passenger side caliper needed the pins cleaned and lubed, they were sticking just a little causing more heat on the rotor. Took me less than an hour to fix and just a $12 bottle of lube from autozone. Didn't need all new parts to replace everything like they tried to tell me. In my own experience I went for one small thing and they tried upselling for multiple things. They also tried to sell me new rear struts for $700, they told me they were leaking. Checked them myself and had another mechanic take a look and they were completely fine.
