Our regular mechanic later inspected the vehicle and immediately found and repaired a hole on the top of the exhaust near the front--an issue that was easy to hear and feel. A repair shop should be able to identify and fix a basic exhaust problem, especially when the symptoms are so obvious. Their oil-change prices are comparable to other shops, but they wanted to charge $70 for a tire rotation, which seemed excessive. I also found the shop's odor unpleasant, with strong smells resembling car exhaust, dog waste, and sewer gas. They may be fine for routine services such as oil changes, but based on my experience, I would be cautious about trusting them with more extensive repairs.

My 2004 Grand Marquis needed two things repaired, the speed control for the blower and the air suspension compressor. They did the work promptly and at a reasonable price, far better than what the dealership was estimating. Previously I tried the Lincoln dealership in Southgate for the blower not being able to be controlled. It was either on high or off. Their mechanic had the car for 2 days and couldn't find a problem. They said it was working fine and sent me on my way. It failed as I pulled out of their parking lot so I went back. They said I could leave it again for the night and they would look it the next day again. I decided that apparently their mechanic was not too experienced with intermittent blower speed issues even though the problem is highly recognized on Youtube for the Panther platform cars. On my own with Youtube's help I concluded that it was the blower control resistor, as this was a common issue with the Panther platform and decided to take it to Livernois Automotive. Mike and I talked and they replaced the blower resistor and the problem was successfully fixed in addition to the air compressor I needed for the suspension system. Mike and his mechanics are what we look for in mechanics. Honest, dependable, and with reasonable prices. This is now my go-to shop for automotive repairs. Thanks Mike....
