We already have Five Daughters in ATL, so no point in going there. Ran across this place and had to go. Right before heading home, I came here when they first opened up for the day. We stopped for a quick treat earlier today when driving past the Donut Distillery. My son had just dozed off in his car seat so I was thankful for the convenient drive thru! I thought it might be closed since the area looks roped off in the parking lot for the outdoor seating, but if you pull around the building you are able to order at the window! I saw that the menu said mini donuts but I wasn't quite prepared for how tiny these guys really are! They're small. Think 2 Bite brownie size small. I got a box of six and would have definitely gotten more if I'd known. They are good! And they were served warm and tasted so fresh. My son really liked the homer d'ohnut and I loved the cinnamon sugar and death by chocolate. Cake donuts are not my favorite kind of donut though, and these were all cake donuts, just fyi. The building looks so cool! I like the murals a lot. I think it's awesome that they have a create your own donut menu too, and we definitely plan on trying that sometime! read more

My experience here was pleasant. This is a nice concept of donuts and alcohol. The menu consists of a selection of donuts along with adult beverages. Wine, beer, and milkshakes were for purchase and can be paired with donuts if you like. You can buy 6 donuts for $5 or 12 for $10. These are miniature cake donuts with different toppings. These moist cake donuts were delightful and the different toppings/glazes stood out. I really liked the whiskey glaze, the dreamsicle, and the strawberry lemonade. You don't get a lot of donut for the price, but it was worth it as a donut enthusiast. There was a selection of board games to play and there was live music being played during our visit. My favorite was fruity pebble. I have a nut allergy and learned in the virtual event that nuts are kept away from other toppings, and when I told them of my allergy in person they were super welcoming about it and accommodating! The bacon for the sweet swine tasted a little over toasty, but sometimes bacon can be like that! If you prefer a chewy bacon, maybe don't get that particular donut. read more

I walked up and asked the girl at the cash register if we order and just grab a table... she said "yeaaaah" as if it was the oddest question she'd ever heard before continuing her conversation with a coworker. Creative and tasty mini donuts! Love how they were fried to order and handed to me warm, as fresh is always better when it comes to donuts. Also appreciate how the mini size allows you to sample several different flavors before you feel full. I have to admit that these are just standard yeast donuts in a smaller size, but what makes them special is the variety of toppings and the ability to customize them. I ordered a dozen and got one of each signature flavor (Whisky Glaze, Cinnamon Sugar, Sweet Swine, Dreamsicle, Death by Chocolate, Strawberry Lemonade, Frosted Fruity, the Homer D'ohnut, S'mores, Reese's Cup, Rocky Road, Boston Cream). The Frosted Fruity (vanilla frosting with Fruity Pebbles) and Boston Cream (chocolate frosting with custard) were my favorites! Two people ordered before we did and a "food tour" of 10 people that ordered after us.. the food tour received their entire order first... then a couple that order after the food tour.. Then the two people who ordered before we did. Maybe they're short staffed.. maybe not but a bit of communication would have been appreciated. We waited so long that we left without our order. I'm a sucker for having whiskey with my breakfast. I had planned to be on the move this day, so I wanted something I could walk with. Donuts and coffee seemed the move. There is also a drive through for this establishment, but I went in to check out the decor. Instantly, the staff was very helpful. They asked if I've been there before, and when I said no, they went through a run-down of what they have. I grabbed 3 donuts (they gave me an extra) and a coffe with whiskey. I decided to sit in and relax, and the staff was wonderful to all the customers at the window or register. I really enjoyed being here. They would check on me to make sure I was alright. I'm a fan. This (relatively) new place to Nashville is pretty nice. The donuts are really good and full of flavor and they sell alcohol?! Don't forget live music sometimes. There's plenty of donut shops in the city but each one has their own flare and differentiations. This one has mini (!) reasons for you to come back. P.S. We were in the mood for donuts and found this place enroute to another place, that happened to be closed anyway. So we traveled back to check them out instead. Walking in, I was a little confused because it was set up like a dive bar. When I walked over to the menu, I was excited to try many of the flavors listed. The donut display looked good, so I was excited to order. The cashier casually walked over to the register and never greeted me. He just waited for me to order. He definitely wasn't friendly. He must've said something about us, because his coworker looked at us and started laughing. I made a mental note of his unprofessionalism and checked out the place while waiting on my donuts. I ordered the 6 mini box. Two whiskey glazed, one fruity, one Reeses and two maple bacon. They guy that brought out my donuts was nice. I did want to make sure i mentioned that! Our visit started off to a bit of a rough start as a friend had scheduled a birthday event at the shop, however the team was not yet prepared when we arrived and sent us to the alternate location before realizing we were in the right place to start off with. Once we returned to the original location the table was decorated nicely for the event. I loved the little mimosa & donut sampler, however it is definitely for those with a sweet tooth. The dessert shot was a fun choice as well. Donuts were tasty and I loved the small size of them. Everything was reasonably priced and the staff was very kind once they realized their mistake. Mini donuts on a rainy Saturday with board games? Yes please! Tell me that this place only sells mini donuts and you have me a little apprehensive. I mean, c'mon, give me a full-sized donut (or three). The place is cozy, with a touch of hipster meets mom 'n' pop shop. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I opted for the Reese's, the Rocky Road, and the worker's fave (the s'mores). I loved them all, but the Reese's the and S'mores were the best out of the three I tried. The S'mores tasted more like a Boston cream pie than a s'more, but I was definitely not complaining. The Reese's tastes like a straight-up Reese's PB cup. The rocky road has lots of great textures, but wasn't as indulgent as the other two. The thing about mini donuts is that the focus is all about the flavor. I feel like I hardly tasted donuts, but instead, I got tons of flavor packed in each of the two bites it took to finish each of the donuts. Fantastic donuts, cold beer, live music and welcoming and caring staff. The one area that they could hopefully change is the seating. There are many larger (but not family style) tables and a little bit of bar seating. It would be nice to have more 2 person tables that could still be pushed together for larger groups if needed. The challenge tonight was smaller groups occupied much larger tables resulting in no open seats- this made it hard and uncomfortable for being there alone. Granted the business can't control how others act just a way to hopefully make things easier for larger attendance in the future.
