    Yummy old fashioned donuts.

The employees are rude and don't seem to appreciate their customers. The donuts aren't as food as they once were. Novato is in bed of a great donut shop, with food coffee ... this isn't it. I've been hopeful that they'd update the interior, make it more welcoming for customers, and give the place a good scrubbing.

    Early morning fresh hot donuts..yum!

Great local, longtime local favorite donut shop. They have made a few concessions to accommodate for the corona virus including the welcome change to accept visa and MasterCard! What a sweet change! Sometimes they run out of my personal faves like apple cross crossed turnovers or cinnamon rolls but they are truly delicious and I highly recommend both my fave's and other goodies! Everything appears to be baked on site (and I think they are the provider to other shops in the area based on the delivery van you can catch picking up goods in the early morning). Enjoy!

Just try and pick one, super fresh, fab.

Raining big time, the Post Office location had moved they're goods over to the Redwood Blvd shop. No problem, gotta go. Luscious raised glazed, I waited too long and jelly donuts gone, so I said throw another raised glazed. The boss threw in two! It was 12:30 pm, getting late for them. How nice was that? Five bucks for 6 fabulous donuts. Ate one immediately. Saved one for later and froze the rest. I'm going to pop a chunk of yum into the micro right now. The best at anytime.

This is a great little retro-style donut shop. They only take cash, the decor has not changed since the 70s and coffee is served in pots on a hot plate. It really takes you back! There are a handful of parking spots in front of the store, which is just across Redwood from Trader Joe's. When we arrived at around 9:30am, there were still tons of donuts in the case and they all looked nice and fresh. I hate it when you show up to a donut shop and they've only got a few flavors. Here, they had them all. We took our donuts to a booth in the back. There were several other parties eating in the shop, and others came in and out while I was there, so this place seems to do steady business. The cake donut and glazed donut we ordered were just $0.75 each. And they were really tasty. They'd clearly been made that morning. The next time I'm craving donuts, I'll definitely return.

Go Big or Go Home! Best place to grab a quick bite before starting work. Staff are sweet and grateful.

They only take CASH for donuts. Not the friendliest of employees. Selection has diminished currently. No more French Crowlers. Bummer!

These are not very good. The plain was undercooked. It was almost white. It should have a little crunch on the exterior.

Inside, there was an amazing selection of pastries, salads, and local products. My favorite was the chocolate orange cake, which was moist with a subtle orange flavor. Strawberry maritozzi: Of all of the pastries this was actually my last favorite. I felt like the bread was a bit dry and flavorless. The cream was good however and not too sweet like your typical American dessert. I think if they could some how use a different type of bun that isn't as dry, this would be amazing. 2. Caprese Sandwich (wrap): This was incredible. I really liked this sandwich. It was so flavorful and the balance of the pesto and chicken was amazing. Highly recommend. Very large and filling too. 3. Mushroom focaccia: Loved this! Focaccia was fluffy and a very generous amount of mushrooms on top. 4. Passion Fruit pasty: I LOVED this! It reminds me of being in hawaii again and reminded me of the malasalas there however in a pastry dough form. 5. Chocolate pistachio croissant: High quality pasty very fluffy and light with huge amount of chocolate. Overall, I felt like the savory items were incredible and overshadowed the sweet items. The sweet were still good though. Everything was high quality and fairly priced. Only item that I wouldn't get again is the Maritozzi.

EDITED: Stephanie is refunding a portion of the cake fee, very good customer service! Once again!…read more Thank you! I started out my search for Starbucks themed sugar cookies, and Stephanie came highly recommended by several people in our community. Upon finding out she did cakes, I mentioned to my daughter in law that she could maybe do a cake, and she contracted with her to do so. The cookies were delicious, as was the cake. It's hard to find someone to make anything with the Starbucks logo, which we completely understand. Who wants to get sued by Starbucks, right? So, she agreed to make the cookies shaped like coffee cups with coffee decor; and she nailed it. She also made a frappuccino cake (standing) - and offered to drive up when me met for pick up because it was sliding, and she wanted to be sure it was going to make it to the party; and also do do some touch ups on the decorating. Stephanie and her family drove from Novato to Santa Rosa and delivered the cake. It was an expensive cake. $120.00 ... and about twenty minutes or so after she left the room, we all left to play laser tag; upon returning, we saw that the top half of the cake was gone, it slipped off and fell behind the table. :/ I did send Stephanie a photo of the cake. There were also misspellings on the cookies of the word "coffee" that I didn't notice until after the cake fell apart. Let me say, it was delicious!!! The cake was melt in your mouth moist, the icing was delicious and the cookies were too!!! I know that there was a family emergency two days before our order was due; and stress can have a negative effect on all of us. I would recommend her to others, I mean, baking is a constantly evolving process and my Granddaughter hates fondant; so that was all buttercream icing on a standing cake, instead of a sheet cake shaped like a cup of coffee. Four stars to Stephanie and her kind family, and extremely polite children!! Thank you for helping our family make Amaya's party a dream come true.

They recently underwent an ownership change in 2024 from the OGs, but fortunately, instead of selling to a corporation, they sold it to an employee and his mother to help ensure the original ethos and quality remain intact. The Good: * Their pies are made with locally-sourced and organic ingredients bought from the local farmers market--as well as some fruit that they grow themselves! * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * As mentioned above, they have both sweet and savory pies. We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!
