We've been here a few times and it's fast becoming the only place for us. The donuts are made fresh in house and they also have a really good ham and cheese croissant. This year we ordered tamales and they might be the best tamales I've ever had including ones I've made exactly how I like them! It's far less work to order them here. I keep forgetting to take pictures of what I got but here's a shot of my currently half eaten pork tamale. The cheese are my favorite though. This is a classic case of trying to support a small business and regretting it. I ordered a regular drip coffee (all they had) I tasted it black and it was very watery and then when I went to add cream and sugar I noticed all they had were a bunch of messy shakers and cheap non-dairy creamers in the large cartons. When I paid I saw the Coffee Mate individual creamers behind the counter and I asked for two of the French Vanilla to try and fix my bland coffee, and he told me I needed to pay 10 cents each. He had already scanned my card and I didn't want to run it again and pay the fee again so I asked for just 1 he refused saying I had to pay. Service was rude and considering 7/11 is 3 stores down and donut/coffee shops all over with better coffee selection you would think they would be more generous with some individual creamers. Also I ordered a donut and ham and cheese croissant and both were under baked and not good. Not sure how you mess up coffee and donuts but they found a way. read more

Had a craving for donuts one day and saw this little shop driving down La Habra. Their donuts are pretty good and taste fresh. I also noticed that they're also a deli, so they offer sandwiches and other items other than donuts. There's a big sign out front that reads FRESH TAMALES. I'm like, WTF?! Tamales? I love tamales, so I ordered one. It was soooo good. The masa taste fresh and soft. I got the chili/cheese tamale and it hit the spot. Would definitely be back for more. Tom, the owner, is a nice guy. Very personable and friendly. read more

This review is for the deli. Surprisingly good. Freshly cooked bacon for my husbands BLT. My turkey was served on a delicious croissant. I was very impressed with how clean the facility was. I was very hungry and noticed the Deli was open so my friends and I had went in for a bite to eat. Surprisingly they had tamales on their menu and I got them anyway knowing finding good tamales in a hole in the wall deli is a gamble. But wow, they where so good, I got pork and cheese, both delicious and flavorful. Also got a sandwich, everything was fresh and very affordable, the owner was friendly and very fast paced. 8/10 service, will be coming back again! read more

By far the best donut shop. They have a variety of delicious donuts and the tamales are always getting sold out because they are that good. Everything is great! When you walk into the shop you are greeted by Tom and all his employees. Even better the quality of the breakfast sandwiches is wonderful especially considering how cheap their sandwiches are! I would encourage anyone to go try their donuts, sandwiches, iced coffee, ice cream, croissants, muffins, hot chocolate. They really do have it all. Five stars for this shop! read more
