Fun spot upstairs at Food Gallery 32! Tried a few items on their signature menu - the seafood, jjajang, creamy shrimp, and spicy bulgogi. Reasonably priced and you can customize your own bowls too. My personal favorites were the spicy bulgogi and jjajang. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for Korean street food!

New spot alert! No customer was there, probably because it just opened. It's tucked away on the second floor of the food court in K-Town. I'm always on the hunt for really good tteokbokki, but still haven't found the one. This place was okay! I wish the portion was a bit bigger... or maybe my expectations were just too high Plenty of seats as it is in a food court when it's not crowded.

I was happy to see certain items on the menu were designated as vegetarian. If I lived in town I would come back and try all their veggie friendly options. The small order of veg dumplings was a very reasonable price and portion. I thought they were well stuffed with veggies. I was a little disappointed with the dumpling wrapper- i prefer a lighter softer wrapper. But overall I still ate it all, and it was a quick nice snack. My husband really enjoyed his orange chicken with rice and veggies. It was a huge portion- he was only able to eat half of it. Great value.

The pork soup dumplings arrived literally spilling pink/red liquid that looked like blood. My mother had never tried soup dumplings before, so we were hoping for a fun experience, but she immediately spit it out. I brought it back and showed the staff the uncooked pork and the blood/red liquid on the napkin. They simply re-steamed them and brought them back except now there was no soup left inside the dumplings at all. The chicken teriyaki was tough and chewy, almost like jerky, as if it had been overcooked on an extremely hot grill or deep fried too long. The spring rolls were mediocre at best, with vegetables inside that had a mushy, paste-like texture. Very disappointing. Honestly, the best part of the meal was the rice. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Located inside Penn Station across from the LIRR, they are not in the Moynihan station food court area. This location hits the spot, and is a total lifesaver when your starving, not in the mood to go to Times Square or other far out locations. The Penn station location is perfect! No crowds, if there is a small line, it moves incredibly fast. Ordered the Box Combo, and the chicken was piping hot, crispy, and perfectly breaded. And obviously, the Cane's Sauce is always a bonus. The Texas toast was buttery and thick, just the way it should be. The staff here deserves a raise; they manage the Midtown chaos with total grace and keep the seating area surprisingly clean for how high-volume it is. This is the perfect grab-and-go spot that actually tastes like quality food. If you're passing through Penn, definitely check them out. Tip: If there's a sports game at the garden, get your food before the event ends. It gets crowded when a hockey game is ending.

I ordered the three finger combo. What came out was just plain sad looking. Tiny chicken fingers, barely cooked fries. The Raising Cane's sauce was good but the vessels to that sauce were so lacking. The breading on these chicken fingers was nothing special and again, so so small. Service was fast at least, but the place itself was dirty and virtually every table needed a wipe down. I know, I know, it's Penn Station, it's supposed to be a little grimy. Honestly, if these chicken fingers weren't so tiny and my fries were properly cooked I could deal with a little grime. But come on.

But you order at the front, pick up your own food, box it yourself when you are done, and discard your own trash. I was the server today. That should be noted upfront because the website does not exactly make that clear. That said, the food was good. I got a stir fry dish with beef, fries, tomatoes and platanos. Mama bear got a Spanish chaufa which is basically the Peruvian version of fried rice. She seemed to enjoy it. I also got a side of squash soup which was pretty good. We washed it all down with Jarritos, the Mexican soda. Solid choice. Now the restroom situation. Chirp does not have a public restroom. My mom was bothered by that and I could see her starting to make it a thing. I had to nip that in the bud. I get it, I understand, but that is not the hill I die on. No restroom, no worries. It is what it is. The cashier was nice. The food got me full quick. I brought some home for wifey since she is a fan of Spanish food too. Overall Chirp is fine for what it is. It is more of a quick meal and delivery spot than a dinner service restaurant. If you go in knowing that you will probably enjoy it. If you go in expecting a proper sit down experience like I did, you might be caught off guard. Now you know.

Replacing pickles and mayo with red onion and mint chutney? Mental. Chef is a straight-up genius for that one. Grabbed the mini samosas on the side and washed the fire down with a Thums Up. That soda hits way harder than a Coke--sharp, spicy, and high voltage. Shoutout to Eric for holding it down and helping me navigate the spice. The art is sick and the vibes are high. If you're tired of the same old bird, come get punched in the face with some actual flavor. This isn't just lunch; it's a heavyweight bout.

A classic NYC hole-in-the-wall, this place is almost designed to be missed. Blink, check your phone, or dodge one too many pedestrians, and you've walked right past it. Try not to, it's worth the stop. Pricing sits a little on the higher side for a combo, but let's be honest - this is New York. The burgers are bold, satisfying, and built to impress. I went for the chicken and veggie sandwiches, both dressed with a mango lime sauce that genuinely were very flavorful. The tomato aioli on the side was another win. And the fries? Crispy, golden, and dusted with a Cajun-meets-Indian spice blend that somehow makes complete sense and zero sense at the same time - in the best way. Rowdy Rooster is a must-visit: come ready for real Indian heat and flavor.

The setup inside this dimly lit restaurant had a bunch of steam tables offering various beef and chicken dishes, a handful of rice options, and a bunch of salads/fruits. Having no idea what we were looking at, we asked the friendly owner for some advice. After some contemplation, two of us made a plate with all beef over some jollof rice, and another with basically all chicken items over a different type of flavorful rice. We knew it was too much, but our goal was to figure out what we would come back for. Honestly, I did not enjoy most of the chicken because it's sitting in steam trays getting overcooked. Not saying they were terrible, but it all fails in comparison to all the great beef offerings. OMG! You really can't go wrong with any of the beef dishes. My cuisine rating is really based on the various beef items, the yummy veggies, and both amazing rice. The current price is $10.99 per pound regardless what you fill your box with, except a couple of items. We filled our two boxes with about 4lbs of food. Obviously too much, but we got to try many things. No doubt I will be back asap for round two.
