Extreme disappointment regarding the quality and installation of the 18 Simonton windows I…read morepurchased from JDI. The overall product quality is unsatisfactory, and the installation was subpar. I continue to experience drafts and excessive noise through all the windows. The amount of noise I receive from planes (I live nowhere near an airport) and cars is crazy; it was never like this with my old builder grade windows. Furthermore, the caulking is very sloppy. The owner said he was ok with the work and threatened to place a lien on my property the day after the windows were installed if I didn't pay, even though I was not satisfied. Following the owner's suggestion, I completed a Home Energy Audit. I have attached a few photos from that audit which clearly demonstrate significant temperature differences. I have also attached videos demonstrating the air leakage using a fog machine.(I can't attach all the pictures and videos I have and would be happy to share) After I called the troubleshooter radio show, the owner sent a crew to insulate three of the windows that I felt were the worst (which helped a little). I was then asked to pay for the insulation of the remaining windows. It is unclear why new windows would be installed without proper spray foam insulation in the first place. Additionally, two of the windows still do not close or lock correctly, even after the sashes were replaced twice. Given my significant investment, this has been a regrettable experience.

I've had WestPro come quote the same job twice, once in 2023 and once in 2025. It was two very…read moredifferent experiences to the point of being hard to believe it's the same company. The job is for removal and replacement of soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts on a 1-story ranch with 200 linear feet of gutters. In 2023 a woman came out, did the walk through and then sent me a quote with details about the materials, a cost breakdown for each part of the project - quantity and cost for removal of gutters, removal of downspouts, installation of gutters, installation of downspouts. It was very professional (I work with contractors and job bids for a living) and provided all the necessary details of the cost. In 2023 they refused to address the soffit and fascia so I declined to move forward with them. In 2025 a man came out, did the walk through and then insisted on setting up a follow up appointment to walk through the project quote. I did not receive the info packet ahead of time and was disappointed by what I received - a detailed project description for siding work (presumably for the soffits and fascia but the material was specific to siding installation which isn't relevant to either of those locations) with no scoped quote for any aspect of the project. There were no details of the materials to be used or breakdown of the cost specifics. The dollar amounts were hand written into a spec sheet of "good / better / best" (photo attached because I don't even know what to call it, it's definitely not a job quote). I understand that materials costs have changed significantly and the job might cost more today than two years ago, but if you're going to waste my time with a second meeting to quote the job, actually quote the job. So your experience with WestPro may entirely depend upon the person you randomly end up with as your project coordinator. Homeowner be wary. I'll update this review when I've heard back with legit quotes and decisions on a path forward. For now it's a very unimpressed meh.

Instead, our utility bill went from the $200s to $441 within just a few months. When we raised our concerns, we were told that they typically wait a full year to evaluate energy savings and that savings cannot be guaranteed. That is very different from what we were told during the sales process. We were also told that the windows were "worth" approximately $35,000, but that we received them for around $17,000. If they are truly worth twice what we paid, I would expect the company to stand behind the claims that were made about their performance. We are extremely disappointed and feel the sales expectations did not match our experience.

K&G did a good job completing my James Hardy cement fiberboard siding. I got two other estimates…read moreand K&G solutions was the best deal. They were one of the better, well-known competition with advertisements, but they gave me an estimate that was 33% higher! On top of that, they weren't fully forth coming about the financing. They used high pressure sales techniques, saying "if you sign up now on the spot, we can give you 0% financing." However, they didn't tell me that the financing company charges a 20% loan fee. They just hid that fact. Greg, the owner of K&G, was upfront, honest and very direct. He told me directly the breakdown of the cost. He even negotiated with the same financing company and I got a lower loan fee. If I had the cash to pay for for the whole project upfront, I would have had the option to save even more money. It was nice to know what everything cost and to know that I had the option to pay cash if I had it. Greg sent about 6-7 guys come out and complete the whole job in only 4 full days from tear down to brand new siding installed. The competition said they would only send out two guys and take a full two weeks to get the same job done and charge me way more. I'd rather the company hire more men, and get it finished quickly instead of having 2 guys go at a snail's pace to complete my home. Not only was Greg able to get my siding done much cheaper and get a lower loan fee, but was able to have a new window installed in one of my bathrooms, which had no existing window. Greg was able to include the cost of installing a brand new window and new siding for much cheaper than the competition. Also there was some small corrections that needed to be made and Greg was able to take care of that for me. K&G, thank you very much for taking care of all that needed to be done on the house.

We just went through a difficult time with K&G Windows in the past year. We had used them before to…read morereplace 11 windows and wanted to replace 13 more. We contacted K&G in August of 2025 and got a quote, gave them down money and told it would be 6-8 weeks for the windows to come in and that they will contact us to schedule installation. Several months went by and no word from them. We reached out to K&G and for the next 10 months we got excuses, no windows and we always had to initiate communication with them. After pressing them they finally gave us an install date. They never showed up! We contacted them and we given another date to reschedule, you guessed it, they never got back to us. We were overly patient with K&G during this process but have had enough. They agreed to give us our down payment back which took 6 more weeks, and we got nothing but excuses why they didn't make the refund yet. We had to use a lawyer to get the money back and K&G finally paid us back the day before we were to file a lawsuit for Civil Fraud. Don't use K&G for your replacement windows. We were treated so poorly as a "returning" customer and no home owner should ever have to go through what we went through. Avoid them at all costs!

The gutters took a few more days as these were subcontracted, but also turned out beautifully. I highly recommend them!
