He beat the prices we had from his competitors, and we believe he is selling a superior package. Jeff and his team were on time from the initial meeting through final installation. He was responsive to our needs, and very flexible to our schedule (read renovations don't always go as planned). We were also impressed by the doors we saw in the showroom. The salesman Scott Moore promised installation in October/November which never happened. Then Andre promised December. That didn't happen either. Allie promised January installation. They came and worked two days and finished half and promised to come back Monday. They never showed up and never called. Finally they came back a MONTH later and finished in February 2025, FIVE MONTHS after we purchased. Chris, the installer, told me I would get an invoice but instead, Aaron had me sued ten days later. Aaron is a piece of work. Aaron yelled at me and when I asked to speak to his Supervisor, he said he didn't have one, yelled some more and hung up on me. No one ever answers the phone in the office. You have to leave message after message to get anyone to respond to you. We contacted our lawyer to answer their lawsuit. Basically they did such a LOUSY job that Aaron wanted to give us $250 to sign a non-disclosure agreement to forbid us to give reviews. WHAT? No way. The installers left debris everywhere and one window sill needed to be replaced and was not. Hopefully they come and fix that but this has been the WORST experience ever with a vendor. RUN AWAY from them please.

The existing wood siding on my home was reaching the end of its useful life. Further complicating…read morematters was the fact that my existing siding created a lot of challenges for the installers. I got the impression that several contractors did not want to tackle the job. Luckily, I called Mike, who is one of the owners of Mengel Exteriors. He explained that he had the perfect product for a job like mine: Alside Ascend composite plank siding. It has the appearance of wood siding, but it is a Hardie Board type material. It comes in single 12" long planks, so it looks more premium than vinyl siding. It's also thinner than vinyl, so it doesn't bulge out nearly as much when applied over the existing wood siding, and the fact that this does not not require removing the existing siding saved me a significant amount of money compared to Hardie Board. So I got a more premium appearance without the anxiety or expense of tearing off all the original wood siding. And I got a product with a lifetime warranty; it will never need painting, it adds insulation, which made my second floor much quieter. It resists woodpeckers, and it even provides some protection from fire. It is a really great product... Google it. Not only did I get a good product, though, the team at Mengel Exteriors created a very well thought out plan to tackle all the tricky areas, and I am thrilled with the results. I was particularly concerned about my bay window. My house was built in the 70's, and there had already been some repairs throughout the years. I was honestly prepared to be a little disappointed. I knew this needed to be done, but I just didn't think anyone would be able to make it look right. However, crew that preformed the installation are true craftsmen. The way all the angles come together on the bay window, and how it integrates so well with the rest of the siding, there is an artistry to it. The planning and execution really separates the amateurs from the professionals. These guys are professionals! So at this point, you might be saying: "This is a glowing review, it must be fake." Let me tell you... I feel like I spent less money than I anticipated, and I am happier than I thought I would be. It's a great feeling, and it is well worth a few minutes to write a review for these deserving folks! And my experience makes me believe you will feel the same way too!

We had 10 windows removed and replaced all in one day with the temperature in the 40's and snow on the grown. Then I called again and got this Shannon person on the phone. He asked for pictures of my screen in porch which I sent him. Then I waited and waited, no response. Then I called him again, once twice then he answered. This was a span of more than a week. When he finally answered he said he had just got home and would work on a quote for me. 3 or 4 days later, I got the quote. Discussed the price with my wife and called him back, also sent a text that we wanted to schedule the service. This was the second or third week. He sent me a text saying he'd call me that afternoon and set up a time. A few more days passed. I contacted another vendor for another quote since it appeared he was either really busy or not a very good Buisness person. Today, 3 weeks since this all started he sent me a text saying he was sorry for the delay. I sent him a reply telling him I had another company coming out to give me a quote and if it did not work out, I might call him back. Then he sends me the following text message, "Haha, You don't need to consider me if it doesn't work out. We are booked out quite far and I dont think we would be a good fit". He may do really great work, but with his response trying to make a joke (Haha). I would not even want him on my property. I would not recommend this person or his Screen Mobile East Louisville to do any kind of work. Give him one star is being generous.
