I went to Dorado Nail Bar the day after Christmas for a new set of Gel X. Upon entering the shop, I was welcomed and asked to sign in. My first thought was "This place is fancy!". The shop is pretty spacious, there were chandeliers, Christmas decorations, marble tile floor. All the stations are well kept and clean. I got seated right away, my nail tech began to remove the existing design I had on (also Gel X). Note: there is a removal fee for gel. After the removal process of finished, I showed her the design I wanted, she assured that she can do it. We began the nail prep process, which was very efficient - she is definitely a pro! Note: there is a fee for cuticle care. I really appreciate her helping me pick out the colors and offering her opinion on what the colors will look like on real nails. She then carefully picked out the Gel X extension for each nail and applied them. 2 of them are a little crooked but this is a known issue with my nail beds, usually a nail tech would need to pay really close attention to get it aligned perfectly. The design part took the longest (as expected). She did a great job, took my feedback and brought it to life. It didn't turn out exactly like the inspiration, but the result was beautiful. I have received so many compliments in my nails! It has been 5 1/2 weeks, they are still holding strong - none is lifted, only minor chips from me being rough on them. Overall, I had a lovely experience at Dorado. There are a couple fees here and there, like extra for gold flakes, cuticle cut, existing design removal, coffin shape that bring up the total. Keep that in mind if you're looking to do designs. I felt that the extra fee for coffin shape could be waived since the Gel X extension is already in coffin shape, but that's just my opinion. Tip: Once you sign up with your phone number, they occasionally send out special offers so keep an eye on those.

I had an amazing nail spa experience here from entering to leaving. They had so many color options that in a good way it was overwhelming but exciting to see the variety. They offer complimentary drinks with a service and as you can see from the pictures, it's spacious inside and setup to cater and relax you during your services.

I am extremely picky with my manicures & nail salons in general. My experience here at Dorado with Mariem was amazing! She was patient with me, and fulfilled all requests! She did a beautiful job with the design I had picked for Valentine's Day too! I love the staff here, so attentive and friendly.

Really enjoyed our visit here. From the moment you walk in you are treated like a VIP. The service is exceptional. The technicians are friendly and helpful and take care to ensure your nails look just the way you want them. The pedicure tat we got was worth every penny. It truly felt Ike a treat and nice relaxing break from the day. The location was very clean and elegant. I will certainly return They also have a full bar! Started to chip after 4 days! Shelak manicure

Extremely bad!!!! I was there last Wednesday today Saturday I have almost all my shelak gone and chipped nails I posted a pic on Google reviews on the 4th day . I received a very nice reply with the owner on the next Thursday to go and fix. I called them on Friday they said it's all chargeable after one week! Although I texted them the owner msg! But they ignored the msg!

Not as great of an experience second time around... was told chrome would be $15 then was charged $20 at checkout. Also not properly applied all the way across the nail, didn't make full application past the second half of my nail. I intend to go back and see if it can be fixed, but for a gel manicure + $20 chrome upcharge would like to get it right the first time.

The decor and layout of the salon is wonderful. I don't think I've been this relaxed in a nail salon in a very long time.

I have visited here 3xs now and my experience has been great. On certain days and times they have happy hour which includes a 15% discount. The place itself is huge and clean. Today was only my second visit, but it was SO disappointing. My nail tech tried to convince me that my nail grows crooked because of the way it has been filed. So, never I've never noticed that may nail is sidways until today?? I think not. Another staff member told me that their alcoholic beverage called, "Mango Heaven" is made with vodka, sprite and orange juice. I've just enjoyed the drink made properly two weeks ago, but she first explained that this is the "recipe" before admitting that they were out of mango juice. The drink was traded for another sad mix of vodka. Please, be honest if you have a limited menu, or if you have made a mistake on a manicure/refill. I will not be back. read more

I happened upon this place while in town for business and searching on Yelp near my hotel. WOW I wish I lived here because this would be my spot! The decor is so glamorous and chic. As a walk-in, I was helped right away which I loved. They offer all nail services and have every color of the rainbow and more. Their bathroom is stunning and spotless! And the best part - they have a full bar! Pleasant surprise! Guests are offered a complimentary drink with their service! I got a glass of champagne which was just what I needed while getting myself pampered! Laura also took her time, was extremely detailed, kind, thorough, and my nails came out perfect. I even stayed for a pedicure which I wasn't planning to but I wanted the extra pampering time and another glass of champagne! Plus, my nails came out so great, I was more than happy to give them the business! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and if ever back in the area I will be here in a heart beat! read more

Left after 20 minutes. Went for a mani and pedi. After 13min I went to go ask up front. They admitted they forgot- was talking with visiting friend outside. He starts the water and says someone will be right with me. After 7 minutes and cold water I just left. This is the second bad experience I had there- they never came to do my mani last time. It's not very busy but maybe understaffed? There are too many options at that high price point- and almost all of them do better. Chairs are excellent tho. read more

Avoid this place at all cost. The managers are creepy. The place is always empty.. so these two men who are not techs keep "checking on you", asking personal questions, bothering you , offering or asking why you are not drinking your beverage...The staff is unprepared to do their job and unprofessional. This place tries to up charge you for EVERYTHING on a basic dip manicure.. for example, I would like my nails slightly rounded.. they tried to charge me an extra 15 for shaping.. they charged extra for cuticle cutting. After accepting and being served 1 drink they kept offering me over and over again... and asking/teasing me if I was ready for another.. Accused me of being drunk when I challenged and asked questions why my dip nail manicure was not the price advertised! I was in complete shock... then the nail tech with the manager is arguing about the price at the register...the people who run this place are awful. The same managers do not have respect for their establishment, otherwise why are they always smoking right in front of the main door? read more

The experience is extremely unique and the service was 10/10. The facility is extremely clean and welcoming. I loved the decor and the natural lighting throughout the space. I also really like its on the second floor it gives it a private entrance vibe. I like that it does not feel like a "shop" if that makes sense. In which I do not mind at all - I'm very easy and understanding. I am big on referrals and ironically the morning this happened I had just referred a few gfs to her. I am very friendly. I tip well and extra on holidays. I'm understanding with timing. Etc. for her not to accommodate me with a slap on the wrist as a new customer, was my sign to move on from this place! I even had had an upcoming appointment a couple weeks out and canceled that (lost my deposit on that) - but that's okay, I believe everything in life comes back tenfold when you are kind, compassionate and generous. Greed never wins! I also text her letting her know I was late due to the passing of my grandmother as I was in the middle of arranging her funeral and I left my house frantic - missed the exit. Because I'm human and stress does that. :) I hated that I had to use that card but it was honestly the truth - still no compassion! Sad. As for her work - she does do great work. Absolutely. Very clean and flawless job. That's my honesty!! But I'm a full package kind of customer - without kindness, I see right past your work.

There is a few problems in this salon that I didn't like , I've waited for someone to attend to me and it took them almost 30 minutes to get to me. The lack of management kept getting a few people to start on me and then making the girls get up switching people!! I hate the most is he the manage is loud and speaking Vietnamese, WASNT A RELAXING PLACE FOR ME TO ENJOY!! my drink the manager I believe his name is Tee kept forgetting!! Thats very unprofessional!!!! FINALLY someone came over to start on my nail and the service was rushed!! My pedicure Lyly did NOT give me a good massage , it felt like a simple rub and RUSHED!!! I've been coming to this place many times ever since it open. It's a beautiful and a nice clean place but unfortunately the Manager T always push me over to this girl named Mina! He always speak highly of her, which I think is a bunch of bull crap , she cut my mother's finger and burned my nails and now cause this nail fungus!
