I booked an appointment for Saturday, and this was my first time visiting. I would say an appointment is not really necessary since they seem to have enough capacity to accommodate walk ins. I requested baby pink shellac nails with a rounded square shape. This was my first time getting a single color manicure, and overall, I was happy to try something different. One piece of feedback I have is that I wish the polish had been applied more evenly. On some nails, you can see a bit of the natural nail showing through near the bottom. Both of my thumbs also have a thicker coating toward the top, which creates a slight slope where the polish builds up. Overall, if you're looking for a quick and affordable nail service, this could be a good option. The staff were very friendly, and the total came out to $38 before tip. read more

I get my nails done monthly and recently moved to the area, so I decided to try this salon based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the cleanliness. Upon arrival, the salon appeared quite dirty. The tools and instruments used on me were not properly cleaned or sterilized. All tools on the cart were already open, and the nail clippers used during my service were visibly dirty. The nail carts also appeared filthy. Based on what I observed, I was very concerned that some of the tools and instruments used on me may have been used on other clients without proper sanitation between services. Cleanliness and proper sterilization are extremely important when receiving nail services, so this experience was unsettling. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon and will not be returning. read more

I went to this nail salon to have my dip removed. Not only did the person cut me multiple times while removing the dip, but she hardly apologized. Beyond that, my nails were left in a terrible state as pictured. She basically drilled off my entire nail and what was left was extremely thin and all of the polish wasn't even off. Lastly, the person who was removing my dip, had fungus on her nail and was not wearing gloves or cleaning equipment. She also touched the blood from my cut with her bare hands multiple times which made me feel unsafe. Who knows what other blood she has touched earlier today and is now spreading to my open wound? I have had dip removed at several different salons, and this was by far the worst experience. I would not recommend this salon to anyone unfortunately. read more

I have no idea why this business has so many high ratings but I personally did not have the greatest experience. It was a late afternoon on a Sunday and the salon was about to close in an hour. I called ahead of time to see if it was possible to have a men's pedicure done today before closing and the person of the phone said yes as long as I could make it by 6pm. I arrived just a few minutes earlier than that and when I arrived I didn't feel very welcomed. The energy in the room was giving "oh, he really did show up. Damn". I waited for a few minutes for them to find the nail tech that was going to be with me and when she finally was found she didn't seem happy to have me there. I felt like I was an inconvenience the entire time. If it's related to the time and how close it was to closing hours they should have just told me on the phone they had no time today. I would have preferred hearing that then deal with the service that was provided. The pedicure is done and the entire thing was a half a** done job. My toe nails look like s**t. I'd post pictures of my feet but feet pics ain't free so sorry yall! They weren't trimmed properly like I asked and it was even more noticeable the next day. The edges of my toenails were not even touched. This is one of the few locations open late on Sunday's and me personally I would not come back. read more

I got a horrible pedicure from here. The first nail polish I choose the tech started to apply it and the bottle was dry, she didn't say anything just kept trying to apply. I finally said "I can pick a new color" and she said yes please and was relieved. Like if I didn't say anything was she just going to power through, what the heck. Next Polish.... Dry again and I offered again to pick a new one. But she said no and just kept globbing on the thick dry polish. It was the thickness of Honey. They looked horrible and even worse never dried. About 4hr later I took a nap and they all were smeared. I had to remove with nail polish remover. I mean what a waste. They really should consider going through there Polish and throw out old dry polish. read more

The owners would double book the talented nail tach they had and I would wait an hour+ sometimes past my scheduled appointment. Then there was a fungus outbreak because the tools were never cleaned and sterilized. Now they have lost a lot of their regular clients because it has gotten so bad and the owners are harassing their talent that left and went elsewhere. The people who run this are bullies. I just moved in the area, but this nail salons had a high rating. The minute I sat down, I noticed how filthy the nail station was. There was black crummy stuff from I guess a previous client. All the equipment looks dirty. I wanted my dip removed, and gel put on. The lady was so rough on my nails that you can see blood from underneath. They are now paper thin and they hurt every time I touch something . there was no price given and she charge me $40, I saw the price price for the pedicure. And full set of tips was $65 ,quite a lot for a clear gel cover-up. I would never recommend this place it's unsanitary the girl is extremely rough and if I could give it a zero star rating I would. read more

I needed a quick mani/pedi before vacation, so I wasn't able to drive out to my usual places that I get my nails done. I did a quick Yelp search, found this place & decided to try it out. I will never come back to this place. I will say that I like how my NAILS turned out, although it shouldn't be hard to just shape someone's natural nails. I did have to ask the nail tech to fix it at least 3x, but she finally got them all uniform in the end. As for the shellac/gel - I like the color, but can't really credit the business or the nail tech for that. The nail tech applied the polish so haphazardly, she got it all over my skin. If you haven't had that happen before, that sh*t burns when you cure it & there's gel on the skin! Then when I tell her, she tried pick it off my skin with her nails forcefully. Ouch. She eventually used a cuticle cutter to cut it off, which meant she was cutting off the skin on the pad of my fingers with a cuticle cutter. That nail tech and her cuticle cutters. That was the worst part of the whole thing. She was going at my fingers like a madwoman and I had to tell her to be more gentle, because she was hurting me. This was even BEFORE she took those things to my finger pads. Y'all... look at my cuticles. It looks like a chihuahua tried to trim my cuticles with its teeth. Cuticle balm and lotion are not helping! Moreover, they're sore & painful. The tech that gave me a pedicure was nothing to write home about, but she wasn't terrible. I wish I could have just tipped her without including a tip for the tech that mangled my fingers. I'm not going to let this ruin my vacation, but hopefully this review will keep someone else from making the same mistake! read more

This is my go to nail salon. I would go hear before I moved away from the city every two weeks and now that I'm back, I'm going regularly again. It's very lush and serene in here. It can get quite busy towards the weekend so I recommend making an appointment. The salon manager always answers the phone is very good about allocating appointment times. Their specialty pedicures are bomb. I always go with milk and honey but eucalyptus is a great alternative too. They have waxing but I haven't used that service. They offer regular, gel, and shellac for both manicure and pedicure. I brought a friend here with me the last time and she raves about how the technicians are perfectionist. I'll be back in another two weeks for a refreshing pedicure and manicure. read more

Wanted to really like this place. The extra charge of $15 dollars to literally run glitter on seemed beyond excessive. Not only that but my hand looks like i just finished an art project there was black everywhere and the matte shows strange lines. Very disappointing nothing like the swatch they provided. And on top of that she missed a whole side of my middle finger. In the thumb you see it looks like me nails have grown out for a week. This is not the look of a $65 fresh set! I was excited to try this place after seeing the great reviews and especially because it is close to where I live. I did not have the greatest experience. I felt like my nails were rushed and it came out a bit sloppy. The technician cut one of my fingers as she was doing my nails. The biggest disappointment came with my toes. If I am getting regular polish at all on either my hands or my toes, I usually bring my own polish. I bought a brand new (expensive) nail polish. The tech was having some issues with the polish for some reason not really sure exactly what; however, he proceed to get up and put THINNER in my PERSONAL nail polish. I was beyond upset that he thought it would be okay to put something into my nail polish. Moreover, if there was an issue with the polish, I would have had no problem just using the hundreds of polishes that they had in the store. I intentionally buy toxic free polish and he just ruined my entire bottle that I just bought. I have been considering whether I wanted to give them another try but I am not sure as of yet. read more

I came here because my usual nail shop lost power. And on the bright side my set didn't come horrible but it wasn't the best I've had. I appreciate that they did not rush and they were polite but my 2 stars stem from how filthy the salon was. This salon was very dirty. From the floors, to the chairs, the pillows, the mirrors, the grout at the sink and sink itself and the organization in general. I think it's one of the most important things for a salon to consider due to the fact clean nails are a must there is ways to get infections and just no one wants to be in a dirty salon. They offer lash and massage services and I would literally never get something like that done here. I'm new to town so the struggle to find a good nail salon is real. After an extensive Yelp search, I landed on Heavenly Lashes Nail Spa because it was close to the area I was at. I read the reviews and decided to go for it. When I got in, it was not too crowded and the staff was super friendly and polite. I was seated immediately and two ladies worked on my fingers and toes. My toes came out great but she did a HORRIBLE job on my manicure. I got a regular manicure/pedicure and she packed on the nail polish on my finger. Ugh. It's so thick and smudged within seconds. It's only been a day and they look terrible. Granted they were cheap compared to everyone else around ($40 total- pay in cash btw) but never again. This is my go-to salon ever since my return to Houston almost five months ago. They're usually pretty friendly and the wider selection of comp drinks (including alcohol) are always a plus. But like other salons, a technician makes or breaks your appointment, and it seems like there is a higher turnover recently or I can't seem to hold down a technician I like (maybe because they are younger and usually have to return to school). This particular review is for their dip nail services (or lack there of) which I received from technician Julia. I specifically asked for dip nail services, she decided to cut corners and give me an acrylic powder nail (much thicker and not natural looking) with a brush so that she can cut some time. Furthermore her basic manicure skills are lacking. She made me bleed from filing too strongly and uneven nails all around - check pics attached. If you're new or lack skills, be hardworking. If you don't have the skills to back up your laziness and moreover don't have passion for what you do, time to find a new occupation. The one who worked on my nails was another guy, and I forgot to ask for his name, but he was so impressive! Also, make sure you set up an appointment with them in order to ensure you're getting the best experience as possible!
