I've been to several nail salons since I moved to Dallas in 2015 and Dorado is the best one in my opinion. I see Jennifer specifically and I almost exclusively get pedicures with polish I bring from home. What I like about Jennifer is that she's got a very gentle touch, doesn't rush, and allows me to be quiet the entire time. You'd be surprised at the different techniques that techs have. She has never nicked one of my cuticles or been sloppy with her work. Getting a pedicure is a treat that I give myself where I don't have to do anything or talk to anyone and Jennifer is the perfect tech for that dynamic that I need. The staff there is also friendly and attentive, and I've always been quickly greeted by the front staff. Their online appointment booking is very useful too. What's also nice is that it's next to Fish City Grill so I can pop in for one of their Gold Margaritas after I'm done ;) read more

This may possibly be the worst manicure I have ever had. I came on Tuesday night and the woman, I believe Emmy? painted my nails about as well as my 5 year old. she was very rough, ignored the hair stuck to them from the towel (even after I removed it in front of her) and had limited skill. I'm not surprised the gel has chipped on various nails the very next day and the shape is awful. I had to leave town today otherwise I would run to another salon just to remove the gel and fix this mess. I have only been here once before and the manicure was okay, nothing to write home about but this one was ridiculous. read more

I love this place and have been coming now since December 2023! I find it to be relaxing and not where they try to push more expensive suggestions like coming for the basic but walking out with supreme if you know what I mean. I feel the prices are fair and the service is amazing. I recommend booking the appointment online versus coming in person. I also love that they do loyalty programs for regular customers. I would recommend this business and trying it out to see. The parking can be Crazy depending on what time you come, but there is plenty of parking. My favorites are Jennifer and Ron but have had to use others in emergency. I just recommend calling in advance to schedule or go on their website to schedule an appointment. read more

Unpleasant experience. A week ago I had a manicure (dip powder) guess what ? Yes, 2 of my nails are already chipped ! A dip powder is supposed to stay intact at least 3 weeks!!!!! I was curious to try a new salon closer from my place of work! Wow! During the all process The technician (Ni...) was rough and kind of unfriendly. Helen did my pedicure with a gel finish and she was so thorough and so sweet. I highly recommend this nail salon to everyone. Upon arrival the front desk manager , Jackson was very attentive and informative on pricing and service descriptions. He got me seated quickly and a nice complementary cocktail as well. There was a little wait but it was not bad because the service was great! A nice little slice of paradise from a hectic day! There is a central market near by for any shopping you may need to do after! All together the service and hospitality was also paired along side attention to detail for my nails and pedicure! We have used this place before with good results but today Hai was on duty and didn't have the courtesy to let us know we would be soaking our feet for 90 minutes with no nail tech. Then he told me the real story. They don't allow men to get manicures from male nail techs. Women were working on women. We are a gay couple that was discriminated against today. Calling on all LBGTQ people and their advocates to avoid this place at all costs. read more

I live 5 minutes away from this salon and every time I pass by it looks so clean and make a note about trying it out. On a holiday weekend it was difficult to get appointments at my usual place. I came here without an appointment and had the best service! I was immediately greeted and was escorted to my seat. I was lucky enough to have Halen assigned as my nail technician. I had a pedicure done elsewhere three weeks ago but during the pedicure with Halen I realized that it felt and looked like I hadn't had a pedicure done in three months. She did an absolutely amazing job!! She is the sweetest person and the most professional. I am so happy with my pedicure!! I highly recommend booking a service here and with her. This is my new favorite nail salon! It is so modern and clean, with such friendly staff, and the nail colors were so organized! A lot of places just hand you a box with all the colors crammed in there, but this place had them laid out so nicely and easy to look through. Also, I normally have to fix my cuticles after I get my nails done, but at this place, I didn't have to touch them up at all and the oval shape was perfect. 10/10 recommend! read more

Worst nails ever the shape was so disappointing charged me extra for every small thing and when I just complained about my nail shape being wrong they said that's just how the nails came .
