First and last visit to the location. My daughter and I made an appointment for mother/daughter mani pedi. The pedicures were good. My daughter had to ask for more polish as there were streaks/uneven color on a few nails. Tech seemed confused and then stood next to her on his phone before packing up and leaving. During my mani, I received two cuts to my cuticles. When the tech noticed that I was bleeding she placed my hand back into the dirty water in which it had been soaking. Then, she applied a substance to the cuticle to stop the bleeding. This took reapplication of the substance and a bit of attention- not an insignificant cut. She clipped the final two fingers and did nothing to shape the nails themselves. My service was interrupted twice for tech to be reminded someone was waiting for her and then a few minutes later that she had two people waiting for her. This led to her being rushed and probably not as diligent as normal. It wasn't until after leaving that we had a chance to discuss our experiences. We had not been sitting next to each other but facing each other in their small "private" room. My daughter is a manager in a similar type of business and contacted the store to alert them of cuticle cuts, her uneven nail color, and the hot stones being exceptionally hot. She assured me that these are all things that places regulated by licensing controls need to be alerted. The response was unnecessarily patronizing. According to the spa's representative, the blame for my cuticle being cut is solely mine. I was using the chair massager which caused her to clip my skin. I was unaware of the dangers of combining an experienced, trained professional with the chair she placed me in and showed me how to use. I guess I was supposed to know when to turn the chair on and off. We should probably add that I have no idea what she applied to my open, bleeding cuticle. What I do know is that it was not a single use canister and no measures were taken to control contamination or minimize infection risk. The manager was less helpful with our other concerns- sending a screenshot of my daughter getting her massage and pointing out she looks relaxed. So because she looked to be enjoying herself at some point her complaint of the rock's temperature must be dismissed. We were offered a partial refund of a little less than 10% of our bill- $30. I have a difficult time believing this level of service was a one off. Also, I hope no one gets a cut and exposed to the blood contaminated jar of whatever stopped my finger from bleeding. read more

I would give 3.5 stars if possible but I chose 4 so as not to drag down their rating for my preferences. It's nice they accept walk ins but they're not as good as Forest Nails across the street. My service was $10 more and wasn't nearly as detailed. I felt judged for having short nails and not wanting polish. I'm not sure why that happens to me when I am the one paying for the service, but it happens more often than not. In any case, they did an ok job. Massage was subpar. The manicurist was an older woman and she was great at shaping. The pedicurist was a younger woman and wasn't as experienced. Overall fine, but I doubt I would return unless I just needed quick last minute nails done. read more

I'm big on good hospitality and this place definitely has that. The staff is so sweet and very attentive. It is truly the main reason I go there. I've seen multiple nail techs there and they all do such a good job! I literally get compliments on my nails every where I go. The most recent set I got done was as by Ty and he did amazing! I wanted something simple and he made something so simple look so good. He took his time and made sure I was satisfied with size shape and color. They definitely say Christmas!!! read more

Visited the Milano Spa in Houston and loved it. Recently moved to Dallas so when I saw they had a Milano, I thought I would get a similar experience- I did not. I was a walk in on a night after work and what I thought would be about an forty-five minute experience turned into a two hour ordeal. The manager/store owner let me know that there would be a few minute wait as a large group had just come in. I informed him that was fine and he offered me a glass of wine. I wish he would have told me that they wouldn't be able to take me as 30 minutes later, I was still sitting at the bowl. I was going to leave but unfortunately my phone was dead and as I am new to the area, I didn't know anywhere else to go. I would have left but I was going out of town the next day and needed a pedicure. Over 45 minutes later, I was finally serviced. I went with the deluxe express pedicure and for $45 there was nothing spectacular about it. I believe too much skin was taken off of my toe when she was cutting my cuticles as I have been having some pain in my toe since then. read more

My friend & I had manicures and pedicures today. Loan & Heidi were my technicians. They were wonderful! Both did beautiful work & provided the BEST leg, hand & neck massages!! Christine & Jade were my friend's fabulous technicians. She was just as pleased as I was! Can't say enough good things about these ladies, and the Nail Spa's attention to detail and to our comfort. Disappointed, waste of time: I made an online reservation for 4 pedicures at 3pm and called to confirm the day before. When we arrived our first person didn't get started until 30 minutes later and then each person after had to wait 20+ minutes to begin. I was last and ended up deciding to cancel the pedicure because I had already waited an hour and a half (it was already 4:30pm). I told the manager I wanted to cancel because it was too late I paid for the groups' services early because some of us had to leave, and had to remind him of the 10% first time customer discount advertised online and on a sign in the front of the salon. After I paid only then did the manager try to save face by offering 20% off the next service. While the last pedicure was finishing up, he kept coming back saying he felt really bad. Maybe he meant it, but I'm more inclined to believe he saw me typing on my phone and was trying to avoid a bad review. I won't be coming back. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. The actual nail techs were nice and even the last technician Hannah offered to cut our fingernails really quick. But overall not worth the poor experience and won't recommend read more
