I have had really traumatic experiences with dentists in the past, so the fact that I felt really safe in his hands meant so much to me. I'd also like to shout out his assistant, Savannah. She was warm and friendly. She instantly put me at ease. Even better, she was very swift and gentle throughout the imaging process. Another point worth mentioning, they were transparent about pricing from the beginning. I find many dental offices get a bit cagey when you ask what the cost is, but, if you're paying out of pocket that's obviously helpful to know! I really appreciate that they called and gave me an exact price upfront. Everything was done gently and expertly. Also, the office is really beautiful and I found the waiting room to be very cozy and refined. It provides a bit more for the eye than most other boring run-of-the-mill waiting rooms. The last time I had seen a dentist they were still carving dentures out of wood. 7+ decades in, I thought it a good idea to get my snags looked at to see if they'll get me over the finish line. I had no frame of reference in finding a dentist, so I recalled the TV commercials I'd seen about Edgewater Dental Arts. Gave them a call, and went in. From the jump everyone was great. I told Doctor Cutting what I was trying to accomplish, and that I was concerned about cost. They did the full workup and treatment plan. Holy S*it. What was recommended was pricey. But it accurately reflected what was needed. Called my CFP, pulled some retirement funds, and took the plunge. I now have a full upper arch of crowns, and the first smile I've been proud of in 50 years. Dr Cutting, Brooke, Kim, Kelsey (sorry if I missed anyone) have made for an outstanding experience. Second time in with Dr Luzader for a root canal. Not only does he present a professional…read moreappearance, he outstandingly talked through the procedure as he goes. As well as any doctor I have had. This time, the good doctor could not perform the traditional root canal. He determined that the crack in my tooth was too large for a crown to cover. He asked if I wanted him finish or stop and moved to another for extraction and replacement. I had no idea, having not had to make this decision before. I asked and he did not hesitate, let's top and proceed to extraction since the root canal and crown just won't last. Do it once. Now, Dr. Luzader probably could have advised me to the root canal, maximizing his financial experience. His staff speaks the highest of Dr. Luzader as an honorable businessman and leader. He clearly is quite skilled as a specialist, and we are lucky to have him in Annapolis. I had great experiences during all 4 visits with Dr. Cheron and his staff (consult, root canal, and two bleaching follow-ups). The front desk staff were welcoming and went over the costs with me ahead of time. I was very nervous for the procedure but Dr. Cheron and his assistant Tanae were skilled and caring that I didn't feel any discomfort besides some expected pressure and vibrations. I experienced no pain after the root canal, no issues with eating/drinking, and my tooth's color had visible improvements within 24 hours. During the procedure, Dr. Cheron kept me updated on his progress and what he is seeing, and did multiple X-rays to check his work before moving on. I was able to see before and after X-rays of my tooth by the end of the treatment. I was very impressed with the level of care, communication, and transparency I received as a patient. Like other reviews mentioned, they will play music of your choice during the procedure; initially I thought this was just for fun, but it actually helped me to relax more.
