    Chicken fajita

This just was mediocre at best. You get the typical free chips and salsa when you're seated. Salsa was unflavored, water down, tasteless. Opted for the chicken fajitas. I just ate the meat and veggies, but it was again, not well seasoned. For chicken fajitas, I was a bit shocked that it was an almost 20$ entree. Service was also slow. For a half full house, we waited quite a bit and had to ask our waiter for things like water and the receipt. This is a pass, the Panera next door would be a better choice for a meal.

I absolutely fell in love with the Mexican spot. They had a two for one margarita deal going on, it only included the house margarita. Unfortunately no flavor add ins but that was fine with me! When you get sat at your table you get brought out two different types of salsa which I was a fan of. One was a bit spicier than the other but nothing crazy. We also tried the queso, it was a bit basic but I'll never complain about a cheese dip. I ended up ordering the combination plate number one. It came with two beef enchiladas and one crunchy beef taco with rice. The beef was fantastic, it tasted very authentic to me. My friend tried the shrimp tacos and she seemed to really like them. Overall it was delicious and I plan on going back very soon.

I really enjoyed the convenience of being able to order online and picking up the food rather quickly after I order. The downside is I saw that they had double charged me on two separate occasions. Exact same amount on the day with different confirmation numbers. I'm not sure if it's a system glitch with the online orders but I had reached out sent photos of the charges on my credit card and have not heard back. Although I really enjoyed the food and convenience, I will not be returning because it's just not worth paying double for my meals when there is a system issue. It's a shame because I really like this place too. Hopefully, they get it resolved soon and doesn't happen to anyone else.

My friends and I stopped at this location for an early dinner. The place is packed Friday afternoon, but we were seated very quickly. Our server was obviously very busy for the lack of service we received. He grabbed our drink order and our food order first. He arrived a few minutes later with our drinks, and we waited close to five minutes for food. We had to ask for water and extra napkins three times before we receive them. It took three attempts to get our bills correct as well. My house margarita was good, but my beef nachos were extremely greasy. I'm not sure if I'll be back or not honestly.

My trip to Dos Reales was delightful!!! They decorated so wonderfully for Christmas and it was so cute. The vibe was perfect!! We celebrated taco Tuesday. I had the tacos Al pastor and they were so incredibly yummy. I had just gone roller skating for three hours so the tacos hit the spot. The beans and rice that came with the meal were so good - the Mexican rice had amazing flavor. Also there were actually little pineapple hunks so that made my heart happy! The service was great. Bonus: they pay attention to the little details. For example, look how the light switch blends in with the mural. See photo. Wow! You know a place is good when they care about the small stuff like that.

    Devoured combination 5 platter!

This is my favorite Mexican food place around town and I LOVE Mexican food! When I stopped in for lunch over a year ago for the first time, I got the combination 5 platter (rice and beans, 1 taco, and one enchilada) and I will never get anything else. It's hard to explain but their cheese is out of this world. It doesn't taste like any cheese I've ever had at a Mexican food restaurant. My taco meat is melt in your mouth every time and my cheese enchilada is savory and gooey. My husband is the type to try new things and he's never had anything bad before. He tends to get the steak fajitas frequently and we never have leftovers because they're too dang good! We have gotten a to-go margarita since COVID-19 started and I can honestly say those are not spectacular. They're very average. Mine tasted super strong so I was not overly enthused. I don't like to taste a potent flavor of tequila in my Marg. Can we talk about the queso?? Oh my lord. We get the carne con queso every single time and it never disappoints. I'm sure their regular queso is just as good but this is a meal in and of itself and delicious. Just try it, you won't regret it. We always have extra to eat the next day. The service can be hit or miss, as with any restaurant. They're often busy and it seems partly understaffed during the lunch rush, but my food has always come out quick and hot! I would highly recommend!

My favorite menu item is their green chili burrito...it's always worth a visit to get one of those! They have decent chips and salsa, and are always friendly.

I really love Dos Reales for a quick, well priced Mexican meal. Their lunch size portions are just the right amount to fill you up and send you on your way- not crazy huge but not small either. They come with complimentary chips and two kinds of salsa, one mild and one more on the medium to hot side. The dining room has recently been remodeled and it looks looks more up to date & fresher than in my previous visits. The service is fine, but I wish they'd come around more often to refill drinks.

To start off Rafael, at the front was very funny and made it very comforting. He made conversation with us and was very accommodating. We also received free chips and queso which was my daughter's favorite! The place itself is very calm and just seems like a chill spot to come for a quick eat. I ordered the steak tacos and veggie burrito (which Rafael fixed up for me on regular price with no extra charges for adding fries). We enjoyed our food and had a great time. Everything was delicious and Rafael did a great job on making this a good time for us. I wasn't really a big fan of their horchata but they had other good drinks available. I want to add that I feel like we started receiving special treatment because they realized we were yelpies so I don't know how service is on a regular day. Altogether, I'll be coming back here again!

The service was okay! Nothing super special but they answered questions and were helpful at the counter. This was our first time here so we ordered a few things to sample and share amongst ourselves. The first thing we had was the chips and queso, which I thought was a bit expensive at $7.99 but not too bad. The queso was fairly spicy but otherwise nothing special. I usually love queso so it surprised me how neutral I felt toward it! The chips were good, thin and light with a crispy bite to them. We unfortunately didn't get to try the salsa, noticing only at the end of our meal that there was a sauce bar near the counter! The birria tacos were also...okay. They were very juicy but not very uniquely flavored compared to everything else we tried. The meat was tender and I loved the texture of the tortilla, but didn't care for the massive handful of cilantro dropped on top of everything on the plate. The dipping liquid (birria sauce?) was alright! It was the same flavor as the tacos themselves so it didn't add much, but it definitely wasn't bad. The "main course" of what we ordered was a combo of soft chicken tacos, rice, and beans. The chicken tacos were unfortunately very cold by the time we got them which was a bit strange, as almost everything else was hot! They tasted good but I'm really not a fan of eating cold chicken, so I passed them off to my friends. The beans were just okay. There's really not much to say about them. The rice also left me disappointed! I typically devour Spanish rice. Not only was it cold, there were also odd, hard grains of rice mixed in. Not enough to get one every bite but enough that the experience of eating it was off-putting. It was also quite bland. Another note: While we were eating, there was this constant loud droning coming from the air conditioner. I'm a MASSIVE fan of air conditioning so I'm grateful it was on in the first place, but that is something they really need to get fixed. Two women seated near us actually got up and walked outside after commenting multiple times about how disturbing the noise was. My experience here was definitely a mixed bag but it leaned toward the positive, so we'll likely try them again! They had several other menu items I'd like to try, including some American fare that I found intriguing.

My build-your-own weekday lunch ($8) included choice of entrée, choice of beans and rice. It was served just ten minutes after I ordered at the table, which gave me time to dig into the complimentary chips and mild (with a little kick), somewhat chunky salsa. The chicken tinga burrito was packed full of moist, white chicken and topped with a very flavorful sauce and cheese. I found the black beans to be pretty good, but the rice was somewhat dry and clumpy. The dining area had a central bar area, unique light fixtures, a mix of booths and tables, Mexican decor, Mexican background music (not too loud), a table-side cart for fresh guacamole and several backdrop spots for photos. I also noticed two rollup garage doors leading to the covered patio area. The food and drink menus included Mexican favorites, taco flights, taquito flights, margarita flights, 88 tequilas, meals for the kiddos and brunch (Sat & Sun 11AM - 2PM).
