I have never needed moving services before but I managed to fall off a latter and break my foot a few months ago trying to fix up my house to sell. I should have known better but wanted to save myself some money. That never works, Chelsea and Joshua at Dotsons were the best choice out of local movers I could have hired They were so responsive, professional and polite. So my move consisted of them running up and down 2 flights of stairs my house was packed. Four men and two trucks full to the brim and a lot of big pieces like my piano and tons of old furniture from my grandparents house. I was quoted from three other companies around 3000 and up and these guys beat the price. These guys not only got the job done quickly but managed to run the stairs while covering the flooring and corners of the walls and door jams. My piano was transported properly on this specific equipment board to keep it safe and they explained everything they were going to do to keep my property safe. They wrapped all my stuff in some blankets so nothing got scratched, I mean I've never had to hire a moving company before but these guys blew me out of the water with there passion they have for there customers and there company. My wife and I were so incredibly happy we tipped them the rest of the quote and some from the other companies because they defiantly deserved it. If I needed to move again which probably not because I just bought in Winter Park I would only hire Dotsons Reliable Movers again. Dotsons Movers were exceptional - nothing damages - i mean nothing - this is amazing. Great price - easy to negotiate - The team was solid, never stopped - Each member of the team has years of experience in this line of work and it shows. The team lead was tenacious in making sure all furniture was wrapped, door frame covers we in place (never saw that before) to ensure no damage during the move. The team met our requests and at a great rate. It was great to have a team like this on the job, that could not only keep up with us (two high energy alpha personalities) but out did us in workload and keeping to the task - their years of experience by recommending alternatives with order of furniture, and how to transport (2 trips in total for best results) were great examples of the right way to do the job. Not only did the moving team show up (most don't) but there were right on time (unheard of for this area). Each team member was credible and approachable. The team lead is an intelligent and a "quick-witted" individual. He displays a professional attitude and possesses a likable sense of humor. He was always polite and courteous. He possesses effective interpersonal skills which have allowed him to earn the respect of any customers. We will be working with this team again if we move again in the local area. read more

We hired Dotson's reliable movers through yelp and it was such a great choice, quick efficient and on time. They wrapped all my furniture up in pads and plastic and handled everything with care. They made sure to cover my entryway so nothing damaged my doorway as well. They worked well together as a team and got the job done quickly, we had a 4 bedroom 2 bath house and we were moved into our new home in a few hours. I found this company amazing. They may say new on yelp but they are far from new to the industry. These guys were called yesterday for an emergency move. I spoke to the owner around 10:30 in the morning yesterday and they were at my house this morning around 6:30. They quoted my job would take about 5 hours, 1 bedroom, appt but super packed full, and moved to a storage unit. They got the job completed in 3 hours. Cheaper than I expected to pay. They were fast, responsive, and I will defiantly call them again when its time to move from my storage unit to my new house.... read more

I cant recommend this company enough. Very careful with my belongings and quick. The Whole process was smooth and perfect. these guys were on time careful with my belongings and also very attentive to my needs. They put all my furniture back together for me exactly where i needed it to go. They put all the labeled boxes in each room, all i had to do was unpack and we were done. Josh and his team (3 people total!) were extremely efficient and professional with our move. They went above and beyond to take good care of furniture and more delicate items, wrapping each piece and positioning it in the truck strategically to ensure no travel damage. They even offered to drop off one piece at a second location nearby after the job was done. All were so kind and courteous and made moving day itself easier than any of the packing and prep.
