    Live jazz duo

I visited Dottie's on a Sunday morning. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed with their offerings and how big the place was. If you're planning on dining in, you need to grab a numbered table first and then tell the cashier your table number when ordering. There are three rooms of tables to choose from. Since it was fall, they had so many fall inspired drinks, including hot apple cider, pumpkin spice latte and so much more. I opted for an iced blackberry latte with oat milk (they only have oat and soy as plant based options) and a raspberry oat bar. My boyfriend got a cup of coffee and a blueberry muffin. My latte was so good - not overly sweet at all. The oat bar was excellent too! Since my boyfriend ordered a cup of coffee, the cashier said there were free refills and you could even ask for a to-go cup. His muffin was delicious! They also had a live jazz duo who were great. They apparently have live music every Sunday morning and they have tons of art on the walls for sale. It's such a great coffee shop to visit if you're in the area!

Great place. You order at the register n they"ll bring you food to the table. Unlimited coffee which is nice. The food is great. I had Avo toast. Outside was nicely decorated for fall. It's a local favorite. Nice relaxed atmosphere

Dottie's Coffee is hands down one of the best local spots around. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, but what really makes it stand out are the drinks. We enjoyed the vanilla and cinnamon latte. You can tell the baristas know what they're doing, and they're clearly passionate about coffee.

We arrived at Dotties at 10:39am and started looking at menus. The host informed us they are now doing table service, so we chose our table. We ordered two diner plates (2 eggs, sausage, homefries, and toast) and two cups of coffee. The coffee was quickly poured and delivered. We were instructed to take our coffee back to the first room to add cream or sugar. We waited at a table for 1 hour and 17 minutes (according to my location on Life360) and never received our food. Multiple tables of patrons were seated after us, ordered after us, and received their food and drinks. We were told at least five times that our food would be out shortly. We got up to leave at 11:54am, and our server told us not to pay for the coffee and asked us if we would be coming back, to which we replied, "No." As we stepped out onto the sidewalk, the cook (and manager/owner?) burst out of the restaurant to tell us we had not been waiting over an hour and that she was going to have to throw away our food because it was on the grill. She also said our food order went in at 11:24, and that we hadn't been waiting over an hour. Even if the server had forgotten to put our food order into the system, it still should not have taken over a half hour to cook eggs. Dottie's - Please go back to your original system and stop trying to be fancy with "table service" that is half-assed, and do not accost your customers when they have patiently waited for 1 hour and 17 minutes for a simple plate of eggs. I will NOT be returning anytime soon!!

    Barbershop Barber Shop Breakfast Sandwich

Walking in it's a beautiful little cafe, upon ordering they were out of many items which I can excuse. What I can't get past is the chai tasting like water (on par with dunkin) as well as nothing having flavor. The eggs say scrambled on the menu but then are actually baked. The burrito was dry and tasteless. The barbershop breakfast sandwich was fine but absolutely missing something. Service was quick and fast, pleasant to be around but would not go back.

Everything I wanted was out because of a busy weekend brunch. Totally understandable. The team helped me cone something still great. Had an egg sandwich with cheese with this lovely drink outside

We stopped into Dottie's while visiting my grandmother for Thanksgiving. We needed something to warm us up after a cold morning of shopping. We got the Changalate, which was tasty, but not as good as we were hoping. We wished it had a little bit more sweetener. The cafe has a great cozy industrial vibe. They have great seating options and an adorable shop in the front. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and shared great suggestions. We will definitely go back the next time we're in town.

Cute coffee shop with tasty coffee. Great place to spend some time on a Sunday morning. Homemade syrups were delicious. Staff was very friendly and welcoming

You take a seat first if dinning in then go back to the counter with your table number and order.

Delicious meal here - so much so I came back two days in a row. First time had the egg and bacon plate. Best scrambled eggs I have had at a restaurant. Soft, seasoned well, fluffy. The bacon here was a thick cut, good portion. Second time, I had the egg, bacon and cheese on a croissant. Croissant was perfectly buttery with slight crisp. Eggs and bacon delicious - same flavor as the plate from previous day. Price for both meals was fair. Under $10 for croissant and under $12 for the plate. This place is fairly popular so get there early to order to find a seat.

A real up to date coffee and breakfast cafe. The coffee is definitely small batch coffee and the food is really good 'yippie' environment.

Shelly is behind the griddle and cooks up a storm. Tourists, keep in mind that this is not fancy with music and artwork for sale on the wall. This is a real diner with counter stools and booths. I had the Greek Eggs for breakfast, which is a delicious combination of Greek spices, potatoes, sausage and other yummy treats. Toast comes with it (sadly not gluten-free), but you need to order and home fries, etc. I like that. You pay for what you want, not some inflated plate of extras. Note: you won't see the Greek Eggs on the printed menu. Ask for the specials. Greek Eggs are always there. My wife loved the raisin French toast. She said that it did not need syrup. I am told to try the Goulash for lunch by several people. It sounds great. If you are looking for a fancy or romantic meal, look elsewhere. Want a fancy vibe to impress, look elsewhere. And no, I did not "tell them how to run their restaurant" as the petulant owner says below. To be helpful, since I was solo, I asked for a counter seat not a table though there were a bunch empty. The attitudinal counter person snapped "there's a waiting list." When I asked how long, she made a face and said "maybe 15 minutes." Seeing that there were at least four empty tables (and no visible line), and not really wanting to wait 15 minutes for a counter seat, I asked if a two-top were possible. Now she flips out and yells "I said 15 minutes, what do you want a job telling me how to run this place?" I've worked pretty much every restaurant job in my youth from busboy to dishwasher to waiter to kitchen prep -- including in the Berkshires -- and would have been immediately fired if I ever went nuclear on a customer over a harmless question. Instead I got breakfast at another -- friendly, family-owned -- Pittsfield diner, had a great quick meal and tipped 30%. Some people get so full of themselves and their drama. You're serving eggs to your neighbors, not working the velvet rope at an exclusive club.
