Got takeout for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The order the ready exactly when they said. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly as described on the menu. The stand out of all the things we ordered was the garden skillet. So many veggies! Just the right amount of cheese and egg. We also tried the eggs Benedict and the hash Benedict, both were great. Eggs cooked perfectly. Hash was very good. The pancakes were also perfect. The side of bacon was crispy. All good! We ordered a tea and didn't get one and forgot to ask for it. Oh well. My brother and I stopped in for an early lunch after dropping my car off at the mechanic. We had a taste for breakfast food so we found this place on google and came here. The diner was a cute little building with all sorts of fun Halloween decorations, I got some pancakes and eggs and he got eggs Benedict. We were both very happy with our meal and enjoyed our food. We dined in with our kids for a late breakfast and had a great experience. I feel like the gem that is the American diner is sort of fading away but Flo's has preserved that experience. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating for our toddler and baby. We enjoyed breakfast plates and shared pancakes. We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend. read more

Like eating at grandmas house. This place is not fancy at all, so if you are looking for polished stainless steel and HGTV subway tiles keep driving. This is your old country grandmas place complete with rooster knick knacks and unchanged decor for 20 yrs. ,but clean and familiar. My breakfast was perfect! Eggs, bacon , home fries, rye toast and pancakes . Taste like grandma is in the back cooking everything in an old cast iron skillet this was just what I was looking for. The selling point are the people - Marissa was my waitress, I believe her family owns it, and she and the other young woman were charming, funny, and warm. Went here for lunch with my family. Cute little diner atmosphere. Unfortunately the tables weren't cleaned, lots of plates, cups, etc on a counter. Waitresses were more concerned about their conversations than waiting on customers. Took over 8 minutes for a waitress to take a drink order than another 10 minutes to deliver drinks, which was canned soda (totally fine, but it took 10 minutes to go to the fridge and bring it to our table?) then another few minutes to give us cups with ice. They weren't clearing the piled up dishes on the counter or clearing the dirty tables. Two other women were making the meal orders in the back. Food was eh. Instant mashed potatoes with meatloaf for husband. They said the potato salad was made in house but it was definitely homemade potato salad bought at a store. We got tired of waiting for them to bring us the check so we went to the counter and saw them having a conversation. An elderly couple waited over 10 minutes for coffee. read more

My wife and I stopped at Flo's on the way to Shaker Village while on a mini-vacation. When we walked in, my wife noticed that they had chocolate cream pie. More on that later. We sat down at a very clean booth and we're greeted by the owner/waitress, to our surprise, none other than Flo's granddaughter! She was a delight! The atmosphere was friendly, tidy and a bit quirky - there were paintings of chickens on the walls. I ordered the basic burger and fries, my wife had eggs and toasted rye bread. The food came fairly quickly. The burger was cooked perfectly and was really juicy. The fries were, well, normal good fries. The eggs and toast were just what my wife wanted. But of course, she also wanted a slice of chocolate cream pie for her breakfast dessert. The pie was great! It even had tiny chocolate chips sprinkled over the top. Overall, we would totally go back to this diner. I wished we lived 200 miles closer so we could eat here once a week. read more

Hidden gem! Sweet little diner with a lot of heart in its staff, menu and history. An obituary for the original owner is taped to the dessert case; his family now runs the show. This is serious comfort food with a dash of upscale mixed in. On our first stop for breakfast we had a Nova Lox omelet and a Western omelet. Both boasted generous amounts of the key ingredients and YUMMY as well. Each plate offered home fries and toast of our choice. The home fries were crispy, not too salty and definitely not greasy. The coffee was also good, not your typical diner fare. On our next visit the following day for lunch, we each chose a chicken salad sandwich, one with French Fries, the other pasta salad and both had pickles on the side. Again generous portion and did I say homemade on site. The waitress let us know everything is made on site and from scratch, breakfast, lunch and cakes...pies excluded. We took home a slice of apple cake, lots of cinnamon, great with a cup of coffee. Do yourself a favor and visit Flo's. You may find yourself a repeat customer as well. read more

And, she wants to make sure you're eating enough? Flo's sandwiches are like that. I got the three-layer tuna club, and it was presented like sandwich art. They have takeout down to a science; friendly and efficient, neat and secure but you don't have to fight to get your food out. I was here with the kids and after a long wait for our meal, I was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were done just right, the pancakes were fluffy and the bacon was crisp. 4 stars for the wait (even though we came with a party of 12, service should have been a little quicker) and 5 stars for the food.
