Let me tell you!!!! This bakery is a 10/10 for me. I moved in next door and have been dying to try them. I looked at their online menu and saw their daily specials . I got the scone and ham/tomato pesto croissant and OMGGGGG absolutely delicious, and affordable . So, it's a walk up bakery. You can't enter but you can see their items in the store front or on their menu online. Everything is neat and clean. They do deliveries and pick ups. The menu changes daily . They deliver locally or you can order at their pick up window which I love. I've ordered at least 15 different items off the menu and everything has been delicious! The scones ( all of them) are amazing, my favorite is the jalapeño honey scone! the chai latte is amazing and so is the coffee. My fiancé loves the cinnamon rolls. Ya'll... when I say that I order from Double Batch weekly, I am so serious. I am so happy to have such a great bakery in town. My sister and I discovered them over a year ago and everything, I mean EVERYTHING on their menu is delicious and you can tell it's made with love! Double Batch operates as an online bakery where the menu is online and you order straight from their website for pick up, local delivery or curbside pick up. You earn points on each order to eventually receive money off future orders. What makes them special is how personable the DB team is. They know their customers and they know what they're doing when it comes to baking. Each night they release a new menu and my family knows, order ASAP or it's gone and it may not come back for a couple days/weeks. If I had to choose my top 5 favorite menu items it would be their ginger mint lemonade, milk chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake cupcakes, strawberry shortcake and cold brew with brown sugar syrup. I really try it all, haha! Most of their daily menu items can be ready within 5 minutes which is perfect when you need to bring something last minute. After a long day of work I wanted (needed) a piece of cake... I looked for a location in my area and came across this walk up only bakery in my neighborhood of Bayonne. It was my first visit but it won't be my last. For me part of enjoying what I eat is eating with my eyes first. So to approach the walk-up window and see all of the delicious looking selections gave me a big smile. The lady at the window was patient and described several of the selections in the window. I chose a slice of the banana cookie butter layer cake and The vegan hummingbird cake for my mother who was visiting... Both slices of cake met and surpassed my eye test and expectations. This bakery is nothing short of amazing. Every item I've picked up from there has induced an eye-roll, a fist-pump, and an "ohmahgod." Their savory pastries and quiches rock my world. Their site is simple and straightforward. We ended up getting COVID a couple of days before the party and Double Batch bakery kindly rescheduled our delivery to the new date. We order here tons, and I wish they started their rewards program sooner haha! I've had various soups: thai sweet potato, garlic bread, and cream of garlic. The large size fills up a bowl nicely. I would like to see two pieces of bread offered with the large, however. I've tried their dessert jars, muffins, vegan whoopie pies, and vegan and regular cupcakes, and it's all good. Can I give more than 5 stars? Because they truly deserve it!!! My bf and I were driving through Bayonne and I saw this on Google maps and of course cravings ALWAYS win. We came by on Saturday afternoon about an hour before they closed. I didn't know they weren't doing walk-ins and order online only, but the guy who came out (the friendliest of all people truly!!)
