This is the second cafe I've been to in Bayonne and it's a simple nice one too. The color of the walls and interior design warms up your soul. When you place your order there is a wonderful collection of trinkets on your left. We ordered the spiced chai which thank goodness it wasn't sweet! We also ordered the vanilla latte and that was sweeter than usual so we'll request for the drink to be less. We took this to go so didn't casually sip on our drinks. However, On the way out I noticed they have products that I believe you can buy. We're definitely coming back to try the other "funky" drinks. read more

Everything I've ever tried there was delicious and very fair priced! (The iced mocha/coconut coffee is amazing!). They also sell a very wide variety of special coffee beans and ground coffee, not to mention delicious treats like biscotti, which goes perfectly with any of their drinks! They are still operating during Covid and you can walk in to order food/drinks. The owner is so nice - I called to confirm whether they offer any curbside service since I had a baby in the car and didn't want to bring him into a store. A sign, a sign, can I get a sign? I walked right past this place without seeing a sign twice. Fortunately I finally noticed the coffee cups on the wall by peering in. The service here is simple, take your order, you grab a seat and you chat with your friends until they bring the drinks out to you - a simple hot chocolate was done well, with a touch of whipped cream on top, just thick enough to cover the drink, but not overwhelm. A great place to study: calm, spacious, coffee scents. A good array of drinks, and very reasonable prices. I rarely see mochaccinos on the menu, so I get excited when I see them. Mochaccinos are like chocolate-y capuccinos, as opposed to a cafe mocha which is like a hot chocolate with a shot of espresso. It all depends on your milk to chocolate ratio! This is probably my favorite study/working cafe in town and a review is long overdue. Robert is such a kind and hospitable owner and his staff are just as friendly. They take pride in making each drink special and the environment is very cozy inside. There's free WiFi, lots of outlets, bathrooms, and even desserts! This is also one of the only cafes that are open late in Bayonne. The only thing I wish they had were savory snacks/cafe foods like bagels or pastries, bc I always get hungry during my visits and end up leaving to eat at home. A great independent coffeehouse and also a much-needed gathering spot in Bayonne City. The barista knew her menu well and patiently assisted me in choosing the Cafe Mocha. The drink was just as she described it-- distinct chocolate tones but not too sweet. While it was not as hot as I'd wished given my request "extra-hot", the superb flavor balance between the coffee and the chocolate more than made up for that. The beverage exceeded my expectations. The service and presentation were overall excellent. I was given the option of setting up a tab; when I declined, my MasterCard was cheerfully accepted for a $5 charge. My beverage was brought to my table in a ceramic cup on a ceramic saucer with a teaspoon and napkin. The interior was nice, softly lit, soft music. Coffee beans were roasting in the background. Power outlets and 5Mbps Internet were freely available on my weekday March evening visit. The only thing to be desired was more consistent temperatures, though the staff did not skimp on heat. I'm a regular, I go to Robs almost every weekend. I study here all the time. Robert is super nice and accommodating. He really remembers everyone who walks in and their orders. The coffee and teas are great. I always get the caramel mocha with whipped cream lol (highly reccomend). The iced chai is great too, doesn't taste like the normal ornament tasting chais lol. Their bubble tea is good too, i love the green tea. Their cappacinos are great. If i feel like having a tea i get the pomegrante one or mango green tea iced (no sugar). One of the best spots in the area to read a book or get some work done. The space is small but very cozy, and the atmosphere never less than congenial. The drinks I've ordered have always been full-favored and refreshing; not to mention very fairly priced compared to other similar establishments. Two minor critiques: One, the addition of a few comfy chairs throughout the cafe would make reading books a lot more enjoyable; Two, please set up a sign on the outside. Like a previous reviewer said, its hard to spot the place until you go up close and see the interior. Love this place! Cozy atmosphere and a great place to study with a cup of tea. I usually get the honeydew bubble tea and they're delicious, equally yummy with soy milk. However, I went once and they said they ran out of bubbles, which is the best part, so I was a little disconcerted.
