Truly one of my favorite bakeries I have been to a in while. I ordered their pistachio latte which was great. It had a pistachio syrup at the bottom with pistachio pieces and a foam at the top. It wasn't overly sweet and a great addition to the baked goods. The chocolate pistachio croissant was amazing. It was the perfect level of sweetness and the croissant itself was perfectly cooked. The chocolate chip brownie cookie was really good. It was perfectly balanced and the brownie was not too over powering. Overall, I really recommend stopping by this place and grabbing some stuff.

Absolute best coffee I have ever had! All of the staff is welcoming and kind! The space is cute and extremely clean! I got the banana bread latte which I HIGHLY recommend! The ham and cheese croissant is also amazing!!!

My friend took me here to get some baked goods. Their focaccia is pretty well known and was also pretty well-stocked in the morning! They also have a variety of sweet and savory baked goods as well as a HUGE cookie. Reasonably priced and nice staff.

My morning treat!!! Lavender latte with almond croissant!!! The croissants are nice, crunchy and buttery finish they are with the drive!

I had a nice almond croissant with a lavender latte!!! Nicole at the front counter did an excellent job preparing the latte and suggesting her croissants.... I choose the almond just because it looked appealing with the almond bits!!! I sat outside and enjoyed the nice l, calm neighbors passing by and said hello to them as well! There is a bit of history behind this bakery, Frank Sinatra would get his breads here and they remain with the same selection on tap!!! This place was worth the drive and it has a very cool nostalgic appeal right in the neighborhood! Super cool place and Nicole was such great help!! Thank you!

Had a couple experiences with Otok this weekend. We ordered two stuffed breads on Thursday night for pick-up on Friday to take to our friends home. We had no issues - got the buffalo chicken and pepperoni and cheese. Followed the instructions they gave me to heat them up for serving and they came out great. I liked both of them. We decided to order two more breads for pick-up on Saturday around 1:45 pm to bring to a different friends house. Placed the order before 9 am. Selected the sausage and the pepperoni. When I walked into the bakery at 2 pm, I said I was picking up for Kristin. The woman said I already picked up the order... I said I sure didn't. They apparently gave my order away to a different Kristin who also ordered ahead. Of course at 2 pm they were fully sold out of those items so we showed up to our friends home empty handed and some chick named Kristin got two free breads in addition to her order. They refunded my payment and gave me a $10 gift card but I'm still a bit sour about the experience. I guess the next stuffed bread will only cost me $2 and I'll be sure to pick it up earlier in the day. The cashiers should do a more thorough job about checking the orders before giving them away.

Super friendly staff-five stars! I came in to try the prosciutto focaccia sandwich but it seems no one orders it so they don't have on menu anymore. I tried the chicken focaccia sandwich but unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked and not edible. I really wanted to like it but it wasn't good. Disappointing as it was a $17 sandwich. Focaccia was fresh and good though. I know it's a new item so maybe it will improve over time.

It was a sad day when the legendary Dom's bakery closed it's doors, and I was sure a new set of condos were on the way. What a nice surprise to see a new bakery open in its place! Otok Bakery bakes several of Dom's best while staying true to the recipes. (panella loaves, baguettes, sfogliatelle, foccacia). There is also standard bakery fare (muffins, croissants), and they've added coffee and several seats inside and out. They are also starting a new venture into lunch specials. It is so great to see a rebirth of a great bakery, and new owners with a soft spot for yesterday, and an eye on the future.

The ladies working here were so kind and gracious about it, explaining how to order the cinnamon donuts in advance and they freeze well if you order a large quantity, so I purchased an apple cinnamon caramel scone instead. I ate it the next day and it was very good. I appreciated that it was a scone and not too sweet. There are chunks of apple in there with a definitive cinnamon presence. The caramel is drizzled over the top. It would go well with coffee or tea, particularly chai. There are other offerings here and if you see the cinnamon donuts, do not pass them up. 3.5 stars, but I am certain that could be revised upwards if I sample more of their baked goods.

I'm not gluten free but love any and all sweets. And I have so many GF people in my life. We were all patiently awaiting their grand opening and let me tell you: it was worth the wait. I stopped in shortly before they closed to pick up a box of cookies to bring to said gluten free friends. I got a mix of the sugar cookies, chocolate chip and sea salt caramels. All are incredible and none give the slightest hint that they are made to be GF. Crazy moist (Oy, sorry if you hate that word, but they were MOIST), soft and flavorful. The sugar cookie stole the show for me but I don't think you'll find a cookie you don't like. They had so many lots of vegan options as well if that's something you're on the hunt for. I can't wait to stop in again and try more of their cakes and sweet treats. Happy to have you in Mile Square!

It's super tiny inside and only 3-5 people can comfortably stand to order. We got a few cookies and were on our way! Their cookies are all in the ~$4 range which is pretty fair for these specialty flavors and good quality cookies. My favorites in order were the Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie, the Banana Pudding Cookie, the Matcha w White Chocolate Chip Cookie, and lastly, the Ube Cookie. The Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie was gooey, sweet, and decadent in all the right ways. I'm a sucker for banana so I very much enjoyed the Banana Pudding Cookie. You taste actual banana! This is 10x better than the one Magnolia Bakery has! The Matcha w White Chocolate Chip Cookie had a gentle bitterness/umami flavor that was offset by the sweetness of the white chocolate chips. The Ube Cookie was also good but surprisingly the ube didn't shine through as much here. All in all, you will not have a bad bite here and it's all a matter of preference. So glad I finally stopped by!

So get anything fresh, like made to order cakes or things you see come out right when you're there. Otherwise you run the risk of getting old stuff, which sucks that they don't manage that at all. On a Sunday afternoon lines moved quickly and we were able to find seats. This is a cute cafe that offers plenty of savory items and lunches, plus drinks like matcha, cakes, pastries and cookies. There is also a bathroom! The women behind the counter were all nice and patient with my questions, they also kept the line moving and were quick. I had high hopes for the Alfajores as this is an Argentinian bakery but unfortunately the ones given to me were stale. The cookie was very hard. Also the Dulce de leche was too sweet and burnt tasting to me. I also got a chocolate covered one and the cookie in that was also hard and dry. The strawberry croissant was amazing. Never had anything like that before. Not too sweet and very flaky. It has a ribbon of red on the outside which gives it a unique look. I would love to come back and try savory items. I'll continue to stick with the cakes and croissants for desert and make sure it's fresh!

Place is a hole in the wall to the point that I walked right past it. Lone server inside was very friendly. Definitely a 'get your shit and go' kind of place, but what do you expect with Hoboken real estate. Got a red eye over ice, which was slightly burnt but still good. For food I tried the La Rustica sandwich, which has proscuitto, stracchino cheese and truffle cream on homemade bread. The bread was great and I could've had just that. Decent amount of proscuitto however the price ($16) justified that. Cheese didn't do much for the sandwich, as it was outmuscled by the proscuitto and just added a touch of cream. Truffle was similarly lost. All in all could do better, could do worse. Donut bites, on the other hand, were freaking money. Got 3 of the ones with custard and should've gotten a dozen. That made the place itself. Lots of other interesting things here worth trying. Wish I could a sandwich with mozzarella as there were plenty of others that looked good too. Definitely would give this another shot, as there's some good stuff here!
