How to get there(ish): 1. Head up ID 55 like you're going towards McCall 2. Hang a right on Banks Lowman Highway 3. Drive for 28 miles and then you'll see Pine Flats Campground on the right 4. (Now getting to the hot springs is a bit tricky. Side note: I definitely would NOT recommend attempting this in snowy weather, that just would not be smart or safe.) Anyways, you're going to take a trail that runs sort of by the river and is towards the rightmost part of the campground. You'll walk for what I assume to be a quarter mile, and then voila! You'll arrive at a beach along the river with massive boulders and pools stacked against the hillside (this is all natural by the way)! The Campground: Parking is $5/day, and I am not sure about the cost of overnight camping as we only made a day trip here. They have one bathroom here, and, well, it's totally a public park bathroom. The Views: We went on an October weekend, so we had a view that combined all things beautiful that Idaho has to offer in one--snow on mountains in the distance, lush green hills, stunning fall foliage, a rushing river running along the hot springs, and clean mountain air. The Hot Springs: A good amount of the pools of water were warm and I would only recommend sitting in them if the weather is above 80 degrees, or else you'll get chilly real quick. But for the most part, they were toasty, especially if you sat underneath the ones with waterfalls--those will heat you right up! Pro Tip(s): 1. Make sure you have more than enough gas in your car--you're out of service up here and out of luck if you run out of gas. 2. Bring a big water bottle! Sitting in hot water will dehydrate ya real quick.

When I arrived at the lodge, I couldn't find a single employee to help me. After locating my room, I couldn't find the light switch and had to use the flashlight on my cell phone just to get inside. Once I got in, I discovered the room light was burned out. The hallway light was also out, forcing me to use my phone flashlight whenever I walked through the hall. Throughout my stay, I tried to find staff to report these issues, but no one was available. The lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service made for a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here based on my experience.

When Fred and Marla owned it, the property was beautiful. The grounds were immaculate, the restaurant served great food, the pool was clean, and the private hot tubs behind each motel room were spotless, private, and relaxing. They took pride in their business, and it showed. Since the property changed ownership around 2019, it has become an absolute eyesore. Every single time I drive by, I'm shocked by how dirty, cluttered, and neglected it looks. The amount of junk piled around the property is unbelievable. It's embarrassing for those of us who love Lowman to have visitors drive through and see this. It gives the impression that no one cares. From the road, you would never even know the business is still operating. It looks abandoned and quite honestly, it looks scary.. something right out of a horror movie. The restaurant is closed, the grounds are a mess, and the entire property is completely uninviting. I also attempted to make a reservation, but when I had to cancel, I received one of the rudest and most unprofessional emails I've ever received from a business. That alone convinced me I would never stay there again. I have personally observed the hot springs pool covered with algae, with slimy steps that looked like a serious slipping hazard. I've also seen the private hot tubs behind the motel rooms looking filthy, covered in algae, and completely neglected. I would not feel comfortable using them. What makes this so disappointing is knowing what this place once was. Haven Hot Springs used to be a destination people looked forward to visiting. Everything she does for each one of her guests is super special - She begins by greeting you, showing you around and making sure you're comfortable there, followed by checking to see if you have dietary restrictions so that the breakfast she provides for you will work. The pictures of her home and its comfort level don't do it justice: Begin your nights sleep with a memory foam mattress and sounds of the running river to put you to sleep in your comfy room. Step outside for the most beautiful clear night sky and stars you can possibly see (I saw two shooting stars in a matter of minutes). Wake up to the smell of Idaho bacon. Enjoy a variety of breakfasts throughout the week such as huckleberry French toast casserole (so good it's unreal!), huckleberry pancakes, bacon or sausage and white peaches. Freshly brewed Idaho coffee. She may even make you these amazing breakfast potatoes. Now, go explore the life-changing Kirkham Hot Springs, just 3 minutes down the road, with hot waterfalls running into small pools of water (does wonders on your mind and muscles) and then white water rafting right next door to the Airbnb. I'll stop there, because Carol will answer all your questions and help you know everything there is to offer in the area and sometimes even provide coupons for the outings (because EVERYONE knows Carol in town). The cozy cabin lodge is perfect for an escape from the city. We needed to check in a little early to get ready for the event and Carol made sure we had plenty of time so we wouldn't be late. Checking in was a breeze and our host was very hospitable along with her sense of humor right off the bat. The room we stayed in was clean and tidy, with charming wild horse decor, hence the name of it, "The Wild Horse" room. We enjoyed our event and returned to a restful, quiet night. We awoke to the the smell of fresh coffee as well as Carols famous Huckleberry Pancakes we read so much about. Although we weren't able to sit down and enjoy breakfast with our wonderful host, she packed us some pancakes and coffee to go. We were blown away by just how good they were. Buttery. Crispy and savory on the outside. Moist and sweet on the inside. You will not be disappointed! So make sure you make time for breakfast. Silver Creek provides a soothing break from the city…read more It's not perfect, requiring a 15-mile drive along a gravel sometimes washboard road once the pavement ends north of Crouch. And it's hot during July and August, but the temperatures drop fairly quickly once the sun starts to set. But we loved it up here, sharing the site with friends who brought a camper van and another who came with a tent. We liked this campsite because the picnic tables, fire ring and tent pad were 30 feet behind the paved driveway. Walk about the same distance again and you're at Silver Creek. The water is three to four feet deep and it runs gently. It was perfect for setting our chairs in and cooling off in nearly 100-degree conditions. An added bonus is that the privately owned Silver Creek Plunge is located next to the campground. They have their own campsites and cabins, but the real draw is their swimming pool fed by a hot spring. The pool, with water rising from the shaft of an old Silver mine, has operated since 1957. We took our bikes and road north from the campground to the Peace Valley Trail. We road maybe a mile of the five-mile trail, as it was starting to get dark. We didn't see any wildlife but were told by a couple of hikers that deer and elk are often seen along the trail.

Went back to Snake River and they beat the price on a similar spa by 500.00 and they did not require a complete payoff before order, I put 5 grand down.Takes about six weeks to get from MFGR. SRPS offers mucho support for your contractor, Landscaper in prep for your spa and sends a team out to inspect prep to make sure your pad or vault is properly prepared. They suggested a real good Electrician who made it all work. My Brother-in-law had a Swim Spa put in by another company and it was a nightmare, ended up costing him more money and he is not happy with the finished product, told me to stay away from them. Suggest you spend the time shopping around for a good Landscaper, prices are night and day and you don't always get the best job with the highest bid and don't let some of these characters force you into a big down payment for them to set on your money for weeks and months in order to get on their schedule. Snake River has a lot of support and it goes on even after you get it delivered. A must in my book.
