We've driven by many times and decided to give it a try. Breakfast was good, service good and quick. The only reason I'm not rating higher is it appears dirty inside. Windows are dirty, floors are dirty, ceilings gross. So it makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like..

Lots of options for a place you wouldn't expect this much to choose from. You can tell owner and long-time manager Alane really cares about this place being successful. Alane is the daughter of Howard Solomon, the creator of the neighboring castle. Many of Howard's family work at the restaurant. The food is good. And the setting is excellent. Inside seating is a large ship built by Howard. There is additional inside seating below the lighthouse that has an artistic tree in the middle. Alane decorates the tree depending on the season. Salads are large with a number of ingredients. The Reuben is tasty and comes with your choice of one side. Crackers brought with the meal are Ritz. Did I say the service is good. Make sure you walk around the restaurant area as there are many decorations, including the risque 'netted' mermaid in the ship.

I had the BBQ Pork sandwich. Very good. It wasn't very busy the day we went, but we were speaking with the owner (daughter) and it gets pretty busy at times. They have a large patio area, with live music on nights. Check the schedule.

This is a small restaurant with booth and table seating. As we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly server who instructed us to sit wherever we like. The menu covers everything from breakfast to dinner. My wife and I shared the ultimate skillet, which was one of the specials offered on a Saturday. It was stacked with homefries, vegetables, meats, gravy, and cheese. It was a great value at $15. The flavor was outstanding. I will mention one negative. The parking situation is not good. I did not see many spots available. I just happened to get a spot right in front of the restaurant but I feel like we will struggle to find parking if it's busy. We were provided exceptional service the entire time. I will absolutely return to A&G to try more of the menu.

The prices are extremely reasonable, which is why I end up here a few times per week. I'm a big fan of the veggie omelet. I get a side of hollandaise because theirs is absolutely the best. I also love their steak tips, when they are on special. Their grape leaves platter and fried seafood platters are also some of my regulars; just make sure you have a big appetite if you order either because they are substantial!

We visited on Mothers Day and was greeted to very nice and posh clubhouse. If you like to golf this is the premier place in town to do it at $89 a round. Very nice young lady greeted us at upon arrival we were seated in the private dining since there was nine of us. Our waitress was great had some knowledge of the wine list which always helps. We started off with humus which was very good and also the fish spread which was decent. For my entrée I had the blacken grouper with fingerling potato salad the grouper was great. Since the restaurant is in the clubhouse they served steak sandwiches, burgers, pulled pork and some other pub type fare but all in all it was a very good meal and the price showed it since this resort is very nice you wouldn't think it being out in the middle nowhere. We will be back to try some of the other restaurants in the lodge next time.

The service was good and a call out to Tayler who definitely shined above the rest. We also had breakfast here one day which was equally has good as the dinner before teeing off. They do have the only golden tee machine on the course and it is set to free play. It's definitely a sports bar ambiance. Great place to end the round with a cocktail.
