The truth for you is actually for the Double K Bar next to the ranch Deli. Nearly opened about two weeks ago. The vibe is steakhouse but burgers and pizza are on the menu. Super clean and inviting decor. They are still working out the kinks but burgers were tasty. Fries cooked in beef tallow. Cookie skillet was good but needs a scoop of ice cream. I was in Missoula on a business trip and my flight was canceled two days in a row do to a snow storm. I was trapped in my room and mowed through two bags of jerky. Food was really good. Nice portions for lunch. We had the Lomo Brie and the prosciutto sandwiches... yum yum!! Atmosphere was very good. Nice little area. I feel they have already out grown their space. It was busy but turn over was fast. Now that weather is warmer the outside dining will help. Also enjoyed the actual fresh meat shop. Got the chili and the lamb burger. Both were excellent. Nice spot if you want an upscale, well crafted and meat focused meal.

Food is always good. It's a little high priced for portions but really good quality. Service is quick. You bus the table yourself and pay when you order. The pork fries are the best. The ambiance sort of feels like a deli but the tables are nice and it doesn't feel cold like a deli. We had the meat and cheese board and the steak frites. Both are very good. The meat and cheese board has a little more food than the butcher board. I believe it rotates what come on it. The steak frites was very good. The chimichurri was very good. It has a chive mayo sauce also, I liked it, my husband didn't. My husband wished there was more chimichurri sauce. This is our second time here and we will be back for more! read more

Saw other reviews of this place and happened to be in Missoula today so gave it a try. Got the basic cheeseburger and fries. Basic cheeseburger comes with the meat, cheese and ketchup for $12. Don't like ketchup so ask for mayo and all they had was some weird mayo so I passed and ended up with a meat and cheese burger with nothing else on it. Have to admit it was very good including the bun they get from somewhere else. Would have been much better with regular mayo and some lettuce on it. Having tried it I won't try it again because $12 for a burger with nothing on it is a bit spendy. If they could see their way clear to adding regular mayo and lettuce i would definitely go back. Also got their fries they say are fried in pork fat and they were good, nothing to write home about but again at $7 a bit spendy. The meat in the burger was very good. read more

Wow, this has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in town. Have been here three times and each time left me super impressed by the high quality dishes. Most recently I had the pork tenderloin, which was incredibly soft and full of flavor. So good. The staff is super friendly. Highly recommend you check it out. read more

We ordered a lamb burger and a double smash burger with 2 orders of fries. I don't mind spending $50.00 if the food is cooked good . The deli was zero busy, so no excuse for the meat and bun to be burnt and dry. Listen, the food is fine. Not great, but fine. The price point however? Is absolutely absurd. The burger is 15$, and you're seriously getting maybe 3 oz of ground beef on it. If that. Then the fries? Are 7 damn dollars. Listen, I'm sure the ingredients are quality and all, but 22$ for a burger and fries is like fine dining level expensive, and for a fast casual place like this? That's just too much money. Not to mention, you're of course hit with the good ol' tipping screen while checking out, but they don't even really serve you. They bring you the burger and that's that, you'd get the same level of service at McDonald's. Does that really warrant a minimum 15% tip when the food already costs as much as it does? I don't know, you tell me. I still tip everywhere I go, but it definitely didn't feel great seeing another 3 bucks get added to my bill when there wasn't any real service being done. At the end of the day, if you're a wealthy person, then this is a fine place for lunch. But if you're not? Then you'll definitely be leaving thinking to yourself "what a waste of 25$". read more

I've visited three times, the first two were lunch sandwiches..so amazing. My third visit was for breakfast and a few bites in I got a really bad oil drenched bite, like old tasting oil and the rest of that sandwich that was all I could taste. We've been there twice now, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Their breakfast burrito was very good, but their pancetta breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious. I would have posted photos but we ate everything too fast. For dinner we tried the smash burger and beef sandwich with a side of pork fat fries. This place is shiny and clean. The fries are good. However for a place that is a specialty meat place my burger was thin and almost raw and cold in the middle. $14 dollars is way too much for this burger! The Depot and Conflux also Wally and Bucks all have delicious burgers for the same price. I was disappointed!! read more
