Cute cafe with outdoor seating and upstairs seating that has a ping pong table you can actually play!! Not too much indoor seating, but PLENTY of patio tables that shares the space with Sonny's Pizza (same ownder). There's wifi and still + sparkling water station! I've enjoy many different seasonal coffee drinks here. They use Small Planes coffee roaster usually, but do rotate sometimes. Would love to come back to try some food items, which they stop serving around 2pm.

Love the vibe at Doubles - great place to chill and hang out on the weekends and also great for coworking during the week. The coffee is a little bit on the fruitier side but I enjoyed it in a latte with their vanilla syrup. I also got the Love Game breakfast sandwich and it was delicious and substantial - specifically the bread was amazing (as to be expected of a place specializing in pizzas). Would love to come back and try their lunch options as well!

Perfect patio day! Wanted to find a place where I could sit and read for hours. While they aren't squishy arm chairs there is plenty of seating. It shares a patio with the pizza joint next door so definitely doing that next time!

This is a great space to cowork! There's nice tables with outlets and free WiFi as well. I did find the WiFi to be a bit spotty so I switched to my hotspot but I still loved working here. I ordered an iced lavender mint latte and the love game breakfast sandwich with no bacon. The latte was great and I loved my sandwich! The tomato jam added in really elevated the sandwich for me.

Wow, this might be my favorite cafe in DC! I ordered a vanilla latte and the Shewolf sandwich. The latte was solid. The sandwich was really really good! The wrapper said Sonny's. I didn't realize they are connected so that explains the delicious sandwich. The space has two floors. The people are really nice and the music is not too loud. The second floor has a pingpong table as well. I love it and will be back!

We went to pick up and the wait was not terrible on a busy Saturday morning! The ambiance was cute and the breakfast sandwiches were to die for. Our only qualm is that the lattes were the price of Starbucks and like half the size (see pic). Tasted great just wish it lasted longer

Cute and bustling neighborhood stop. Came in on a Sunday and felt the whole neighborhood was here. Lots of laptops. Cool haircuts. Plenty of seating inside and out.

Very cute. Intimate place to meet /work! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered an ice Americano with a pump of chocolate the chocolate they make in-house delicious. I definitely recommend this place, but parking can be a bit of a challenge.

I liked this place. The baristas were really friendly. If you go on the weekends expect a line as it got super busy but there's also a lot of seating both indoor and outdoor, though finding a plug was a challenge. I enjoyed my drink though I think the size was a little small but I also really recommend you check out the breakfast sandwich, well worth the price! I paid for street parking nearby. I would go back again!

awesome coffee shop, awesome space. the espresso drinks and single origin pour overs were delicious. The mushroom focaccia made in house was awesome. the ham and cheese turnover was also good - touch dry but the bites with the ham and cheese were delicious. lots of seating inside, upstairs, and a patio out back.

The food and drink were good though the selection was quite small. The area is very cute and there's a decent amount of seating though when I was here I could barely find a place to sit down. I like that there's outlets at the seats though the WiFi is very spotty and I ended up just using my own hotspot.

The line to place an order was almost to the door, and I think the reason must be because I came on a Sunday morning. I think that the little wait was worth it, and the main reasonis because of theor awesome coffee. Also this cafe is the onky one of its kind as far as the eye can see down Georgia Avenue. They have all different types of coffee and tea, as well as, a few muffins and croisants. The iterior is updated and there were a lot of people hanging out. My cold brew coffee was pretty darn good, and I almost thought about ordering another until I saw that long lone agsin.

Runners just do that. Run around the restaurant throwing food down on tables and run back to the kitchen. Never checking on anyone to see if they need anything and how the food is. I ordered the SW Salad ($16.50) with a steak add on ($9.00) at medium temp. I also ordered a cup of Clam Chowder ($5.95) as an appetizer. Chowder came out pretty much right on top of my salad, but no big deal. Chowder was decent taste, but only found one clam. Ok whatever. Salad came out looking like a side salad on a large plate with five slices of rare, tough steak. It was so rare, that it was extremely hard to cut through, but again, who was I going to talk to about it. No wait staff would even look my way. I couldn't even get a refill on my water and there is no place in the app to order a glass of water...so that's that. Unfortunately it was just an extremely bad experience for $40. I'll be looking for dinner somewhere else tomorrow night.

We stopped in around 1:20 PM and were able to grab seats at the bar, which turned out to be a great choice. The Bourbon Lemonade was easily one of the highlights of the meal, refreshing, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. If you're looking for a cocktail, this is definitely one to order. The chicken sandwich sliders were delicious, with juicy chicken and a soft biscuit, but the honey drizzle was a little overpowering for my taste. I'd recommend asking for the honey on the side so you can control the sweetness while still enjoying the flavors of the chicken and biscuit. The scrambled eggs were decent, but nothing particularly memorable. They were presented beautifully on a stylish plate, though the taste itself was fairly standard. The bartenders were attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly despite the busy lunch crowd. The service matched the upscale feel of the restaurant and made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Yardbird is a great brunch or lunch spot with a welcoming atmosphere, quality food, and excellent drinks. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the DC area.

I've been to the DC and the Las Vegas locations and noticed that depending on which location you visit the menu can slightly change a few things. I prefer coming during Brunch hours which runs on the weekend from 10am-4pm. The buttermilk biscuits with honey butter and housemade jam are yummy. And the creme Brule waffles offer a nice sweetness for the sugar crave you might be having. And the fried chicken is to die for. Even has a gluten free option! But my fav brunch item is the gravy train. Which is a bacon, fried chicken, egg, and cheese sandwich SMOTHERED in gravy. This location also is within walking distance from a few metro stops. All the way down to the mayo wallpaper in the restroom! As a Dukes Mayo fan, that's awesome! To the food and drink. We had a pickle soda and local sour beer. Both were great and tasty on a hot day. We had three various appetizers from the cool ranch onion rings to the Seattle fries with a mix of dope beet salad in there. All were good, the onion rings were definitely my favorite and judging by all the orders I saw around, it was everyone else's as well. The mains were the RPG and the fish special. The RPG was a bit heavy on the mayo, next time would ask for less mayo but it was still delicious as a char su pork fan. This hit the mark. The fish sandwich was tangy and spicy which made it delicious. It was a bit messy and the bun didn't hold up great but that didn't detract from the flavors.
