This doublz is right where a Tesla charging station is located. As we're waiting for our car to charge we wanted to take a quick restroom break and get something cool to drink. We ordered a chocolate milkshake, it was pretty expensive for a shake but it was the only thing we saw that looked good for the heat. The restrooms were decent enough and pretty clean. Inside wasn't so busy but surprisingly the drive thru was busy. When we got our order we didn't stay and just went back to our car. The milkshake was super sweet and tasted really artificial. The best part of the whipped cream, and since it was too sweet we only drank a bit at a time. If we stop by next time we'll probably get something to eat, but will be eating in the car in case charging time is up. read more

They will steal money from you!! I went this week and got a double bacon cheese burger and it came out to be $13. So I went again today and they messed up only charging me for a double chesse burger and I said this is wrong it needed bacon. They then added a side of bacon on the charge coming to a total of 16.44. They literally uncharged by adding it as a side. When I questioned this they said " we don't have the option of a double bacon cheeseburger" which is a lie. Don't go here. We tried Doublz for the first time. All honesty, the fries seasoning was so good, but after that a lot of what we ordered wasn't as thrilling. We ordered the large chili cheese fries and a western burger combo. Those two items totaled $30. So definitely inflation hit this franchise. The things I didn't like were the diagonal cut fries. You ever get fries where some were juicy and some were crunchy? Well, the thin diagonal cuts creates all crunchy pieces. When you eat this with the chili cheese fries, it creates a weird hard texture. Then for the western burger, jeez it took many sips of soda to get it down. There's the dry buns, dry bacon, dry meat patty, greasy onions rings, and a little bit of bbq sauce. It's a terrible burger. Lastly, when I asked for ranch, they said it was an added charge of $1.20. Most places would charge for ranch, but with us paying so much for two main items it's hard to overlook the extra charges. So for the price point, the dryness of everything. The food is decent for drive through, I've been here before, I know what to expect food wise. Let me tell you about the pricing, I attached a receipt. I know I'm not the only customer that has complained because the way the cashier responded was as she's used to answering why was it so much money. I literally could've went out to eat at a dine In restaurant. The bill is $53. It was just me my husband and my toddler. I ordered a cheeseburger combo and upgraded the fries to fried zucchini, which they charged me almost 7 dollars to upgrade to zucchini and almost $11 for my cheeseburger with a drink. Since I ordered my cheeseburger protein style which means no bread just the lettuce they charge me an extra 2.99, I have never in my life been charged one penny extra for ordering a cheeseburger with no bread. My toddler also got kids hamburger combo, they charged extra $2.99 because she got a fountain orange juice, not even freshly squeezed, it's not in a bottle it's an a regular fountain cup. They said if she would've gotten a soda it would've been included in the combo. My husband got a double cheeseburger with chili cheese fries, which is the only price that was reasonable because it wasn't a combo. The reason why I gave it to stars is because I'm definitely not coming back here. The food is 100% not worth the amount we were charged. Also, they're charging extra for nonsense. They were actually pretty good, the burrito was huge it's big enough to share, my hubby had the chorizo & eggs the plate is huge be prepared to take left over the servings are ridiculously big. The coffee is decent its one size, it's fills you up. The staff is very friendly, great customer service. When you ask for extra condiments they give it to you at no extra charge. The reason I'm knocking off two stars is because some tabúes were dirt, after I finish my meal I asked for the restroom, only to be given this huge lid with the restroom key attached (very unsanitary) when I got to the restroom it was filthy, yuck! Went there yesterday for the first time. Lady at cashier had an attitude. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo and a steak sandwich combo. First thing wrong was the orange Fanta was off told them about it and they did change it for a lemonade. When walking away u could hear them saying there's nothing wrong with it but whatever they say. Tried the lemonade tasted off as well like if it had cold medicine or black licorice in it. Didn't say anything about it cuz at that time I was over it. When I got my food fries were super oily, burger was raw. We could over hear the people in the kitchen say if any more problems I'm not here for it anymore you guys solve it. For almost $50 for two combos this was a horrible place. I can't believe this place ... and I'm ashamed to admit, I've been here several times. I'm long winded with details: and the real dirt isn't until the very end .... I've lived in whittier about 20 years and only within the last couple of years , had we ordered Doublzz. I have never been to a DOUBLZZ before the 4 times we had this santa fe springs spot. We love the burger boxes lots of fries and the handmade chicken strips are incredible. So picture this... I'm in my car at the makeshift drive-thru intercom, the person taking the order sounds competent and seems to understand what I'm saying. I order most of our "Burger Boxes" with CHEESE burgers DRY. No spread, ketchup, mayo, nor mustard. Yes to Lettuce & tomato. 1 Burger Box "DOUBLE MEAT PLAIN", thats 2 meat patties in a bun. In the few minutes it takes me to get to the window, hell broke-loose and my order would be jacked-up. The young woman at the window didnt sound like the person that took my order. She's the cashier looking for payment. She attempts to repeat my order, but it's obvious, it's completely WRONG. I paid and took the food. I pull back into the parking lot to sort through the mistakes. The biggest issue is the double meat plain has cheese on it, but the others don't. Remember: I paid extra for 4 burgers to have cheese. I credit myself for trying to remove the cheese but it didn't work. At this point all I'm concerned with is getting a replacement burger and the missing cheese will be added at home FREE. Upon, reaching the counter, several workers acknowledged my presence but choose to ignored me. It's as if, no one wants to be the one that helps me. I explain my biggest concern of needing a replacement burger and my refund for cheese not received. This woman proceeds to hand over double meat & cheese to the cook... (the cook in photos, is now watching his partner)! He unwraps burger and with his filthy greasy nails tries to pick off the cheese and tosses the patties back on to the grill. WTF? YUK! I had already told them i had touched the meat trying to remove cheese. I'm immediately disgusted by what I know happens in that restaurant. I tell whoever's listening, I'm not taking that reheated meat as a replacement. And i want a refund for the missing cheese. I was told the only way i could be refunded is to refund the total payment and recharge my debit card. Thats BullSh++ , there i am calling them out for the mistakes and seeing the poor food handling methods. Im not stupid to give them access to my $. I wasn't about to hand over my debit card so they could run my card 2 more times. 1 to refund another to recharge me. That's 3 transactions with people I think are completely disgusting. I can only imagine what they might do with my debit card. As i replayed the dirty hands picking the cheese and him tossing that burger back in to the grill.
