Ok, we have had the chicken and it's good! It's super flavorful and it's just good! I don't know... it's those things you just have to try for yourself and you will Understand. But.... Thats not all. We love their works breakfast burrito. I don't know why but it hits the spot. Chorizo, sausage and bacon.... Mmmmm it's just good! For the price and the size, can't beat it! So I was out this way and I had tried this place out in LA once with a friend. So in this round I was with my coworker and we decided to give it a try. We both ordered the chicken but she got her chicken without the vinegar sauce on the chicken but I got mine on it. I wish I got the chicken without the sauce and on the side like hers. It still was good but yeah I don't like my chicken overly saucy. I'd prefer dipping into a sauce. The chicken was tender and tasty and we both finished our meal. I got the onion rings hoping it would be the bomb too but it fell short. It wasn't seasoned well nor did it taste great or even good. I ended up tossing that into the trash. They have their own parking lot but if full they have street parking. Service was fairly quick. The relationship didn't work out (LOL), but I have thought about the chicken so many times and couldn't rememeber what it was called or where it was located. Recently I was able to find it and took my new partner there. It hit exactly how I remember. The chicken was juicy, and the flavor so good. Lemony/garlicy/whatever is on that thing no notes. We love the way the flavor is all over the fries. We even got zucchini fries and dunked them in the sauce too. The place is small so if it's busy, you might need to take it home. Hands down, out of all the locations, this one is our favorite. The food is amazing, and I don't know what it is about that famous chicken sauce, but it is absolutely to die for. It's so good with the fries, especially when they're drenched in all the juices. We've also recently fallen in love with the empanadas, which are just as delicious. The Pico Rivera location's customer service and food are always on point and better than the rest, hands down. The restaurant itself is bigger than the others too which is a plus. read more

It's in the name of the restaurant. Dino's Famous Chicken is nicely prepared and very flavorful when you add the marinade juice over your meal or the marinade can be used as a dip. Presentation and taste 10/10. Absolutely no complaints on the chicken. I was a little disappointed with a pastrami sandwich I also ordered . I specifically asked for the meat to be cooked on the flat grill for that next level flavor but unfortunately did not get what I was expecting. Personally I didn't like this chicken , the rice seems like it was a bit vinegary I'm assuming because of the chicken marinade?!? And the whole bean along with this place tasted good. I'm sure there has been many reviews done on Dino's it's a classic staple if you are anywhere in LA you have had or at least heard of Dino's. It has been years since I been to the original location and was driving down telegraph in Pico Rivera and to my surprise I saw it had my brother stop immediately and I had to get some chicken. Flavors just but brought back so many memories and woke up every single taste bud. Chicken in the chicken juice is phenomenal. I ordered the plate with fried rice and beans it was delicious. Service was great they were friendly place was clean and neat. I would have given it a perfect 5 but they don't have a customer restroom and that's a big no for me specially I'm usually with my lil ones who as soon as we walk into a new place need to potty. Been here twice. The first time was good, and left me wanting to try it again. The first time i took it to go, and since they douse the chicken in the vinegar sauce all the fries were soggy. This time i tried going and eating inside. Unfortunately, that didnt happen, since they dont have a restroom, and i needed to go.. so again, i took it to go. Expecting soggy fries, and yes thats what i got.. Note to self, dont order fries if im taking it to go. Now the taste was good, but the chicken was very dry i thought, like it had been there a while and just reheated, and got dry.. I didnt care for it. You can dine in or take-out. The majority of orders seem to be take-out. The eating area is similar to a diner, not too fancy. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the charbroiled chicken with fries and a side salad. The portions were sizable and flavor was good. A pepper vinegar sauce was poured over the fries so if you like your fries crispy, ask for sauce on the side. Although, we enjoyed the flavor on the fries. Chicken was cooked well. I used to come here a bunch when I worked in the area but I recently returned to give the chicken and fries another try. What used to make the mix great was that the chicken was juicy and full of flavor along with fries served under it that were crispy and would mix with the juices ever so perfectly. The chicken meat would fall off the bone and had a salty and kinda sweet flavor to it that made it a treat every time I would go. Things have changed a bit with the fries and chicken mix just not the same when we had it again and found the chicken to be quite dry. Not sure if old or was overcooked or something but just did not wow me like it did years past. I would absolutely go back and revisit them but for now I will have fond memories of Dinos but just maybe not that last trip. read more

My last review was a few years ago where the chicken always seemed precooked and just thrown on the grill to reheat and it was ALWAYS too dry and sawdusty dry and inedible. 3/22/25-PRIcES!!! Returned to Dino's and was very pleased that the charbroiled chicken was hot, fresh and still relatively moist. Fries were hot. The wife liked her burger. But now the problem is the pricing of the chicken meal and soda!! The charbroiled chicken/fries/sm coleslaw is now about $16.50!!!! Here's the killer...a large soda is $5!!!! So, I'm stuck. The chicken finally returned to being edible but now I have to decide if I want to pay their prices and drive 90 minutes RT. For now the answer is no!!!!! Sorry Dino's!!! Can't afford to pay $22 for a meal that's a question mark and an overpriced soda. Sadly I can go to KFC get the 3pc with larger pieces than Dino's, 2 sides, a biscuit AND a drink for $13...and the chicken is always hot and juicy. Or I can go to Golden Eagle in Signal Hill and get a 4 piece prepared to order broasted chicken hot and fresh, fries, a roll, 3 onion rings, a decent dinner salad, and a drink for $15. read more

Food was amazing and burgers. Just are so good. But make sure to get a junior burger. Not a regular cheeseburger because the junior burger is the same size as a cheeseburger. This was the second time I had good delivered from this place, and first time trying their chicken. I ordered 1/2 chicken, fries, and zucchini. The chicken was okay. I didn't find it to be anything out of the ordinary, and it was very small. The fries were soggy and had no salt. The zucchini was crunchy, but had no flavor. The fries and zucchini were much better the first time, but that was 2 or 3 years ago. Dino's is pretty much like the other burger places, hit & miss..... that doesn't mean i won't order from there again, but it won't be the chicken, and it won't be anytime soon read more

Sadly, the Breakfast burritos are not what they used to be, no more generous portions. The last three times I ordered breakfast burritos was a huge disappointment! The burritos are more tortilla than anything else; rolled up at least 2-3 times, when before their burritos were busting at the seams. One Miserable Employee Can Ruin a Restaurant's Reputation and Cost the Company a Lifelong Customer. I have loved Dino's food from the time the Pico Boulevard store opened when I was 6 years old-but I had an impression and reputation-altering experience at the Pico Rivera store about 10 days ago. Since Dino's evidently canceled my DoorDash order (that I placed the night before to pick up today) I decided to just order from the counter. The smaller of the 2 young women served me. I ordered a hamburger combo. She input the data. After she did that I started to tell her I also wanted a 2nd hamburger exactly the same way as the one in the combo, but as soon as I began to tell her that, she over-emphatically sighed in frustration, breathed hard, and dropped her head and shoulders in irritation, exasperation and impatience...This really made me just want to leave: how am I to know her sensibilities and how she wants me to tell her my order? If she doesn't want people to buy what Dino's sells, then what is she doing there? I did not tell the store, but I did note that she was extremely friendly and gave an abundance of time to the customers who spoke to her in Spanish...I speak only English. I don't know if that is why she was hostile towards me and gave me terrible service but it has to be considered. So she input the 2nd hamburger; I also ordered a large chili cheese fries which she MISTAKENLY ASSUMED I wanted Instead of the regular fries I'd ordered with the combo. I told her no, I also wanted a regular French fries which she input. The store was empty but for one guy sitting there. She has bad manners and horrible listening skills...she wrongly gave me 2 burgers, a chili cheese fries and the regular fries. No combo, so no drink. It was just after 10 am and I didn't correct her or order more items-and I wanted to ask about the Dino's sauce and try it-but I didn't because she seemed so upset that I was there in the first place, and I didn't feel like making a scene and verbally humiliating her in front of her colleagues-which I'm more than capable of, And willing to do when I'm badly mistreated by bully employees like her: to wit, the Shake Shack in Downey has an employee just like her! I'm not the type to smile and walk away when someone who works at a business that I Choose to patronize visits their weirdness, misery or heartburn on me. I didn't do anything to these people. This employee needs to learn patience, hospitality, and how to listen to customers instead of assuming and guessing what people are ordering. And I noticed she never said "thank you" either: both when she took my money and when she gave me my change, and when she gave me the bag, not a word, just a miserable frown on her face. She made me feel that I was bothering her and I didn't feel welcome at all. I usually tip well and overtip really, when someone does well. Needless to say, I didn't leave any tip for her.
