Pizza was ok. Honestly I've had better frozen pizzas. The staff was kind of rude but they were also busy so I get it. The ambiance is typical pizza spot.

This pizza place was within walking distance from our hotel, the Home2 Suites by Hilton. I really enjoyed the pie. It was a NY style thin crust with plain tomato sauce. It was a busy restaurant but there was ample seating.

Get the wings. Period. They're fantastic. Great NY style pizza with plenty of options for toppings. Close by Drake University. Nice atmosphere for a relaxing sports and drinks kind of day provided by excellent staff!

Came here to grab a pizza for the family party. Decided to get the Hog Wild and ultimately decided on the 26" pizza. We had many friends and kids over so why not. When placing the order the host reminded us about how big it was going to be and we decided that was going to be fine. Boy was the pizza huge! The box could barely fit through the door and thank goodness we had borrowed the van because I'm not sure it would fit into a normal sedan. Anyway, the pizza tasted fantastic, the pizza was thin and the sauce and flavors were just absorbed by the dough. Very flavorful, the pizza was cooked just right and everyone was able to pick at a slice. The pizza was cut into squares making it much more shareable. The whole thing took 45 minutes to cook, and I'm not sure if it's always that long to bake or they were just extra busy the day we went in.

On the dave portnoy scale I give this a 7.2 the undercarriage is a little soft but I love this pizza. If the crust was a tad crispier it would be higher but I love this pizza

Alright, seriously a great place to get fire roasted pizza. The dough fits their name, the dough for the crust was crispy on the outside where you can hear the crack, but soft and chewy inside! We got the Big Moe and the Giovanni! Totally worth it! The Big Moe is sweet and savory with a bit of tang and kick to it! The Giovanni is nice and fresh tasting even with the extra oil from the pesto, it's still a must to try! With both types the chicken is seriously perfectly cooked and from the taste and look it's not the cheap frozen "grilled" chicken. Instead the chicken tastes fresh, is tender, and juicy. The breadsticks are good too! The marinara sauce is tangy and suits the garlicky bread sticks. Would definitely recommend! Also! They have all sizes and a huge jumbo size worth for parties!

Very nice and friendly staff. They have many different pizza topping options as well as if you just want a slice (which is still HUGE) or if you want to order a whole pizza with varying sizes. The bread bites were delicious. I got a slice of the hawaiiowan, pepperoni and mushroom, pepperoni and olive, and the taco pizza. All were amazing and each slice filled us up. They also have different sides and deserts which is nice to pick from. The only reason I'm giving a 4 is because I feel like it wasn't very busy when we went but we had to keep asking about our orders and checking on things and items that weren't ours were being brought to us. There was just a lot of stuff going on for not that many customers being in there. Of course that was from why I could see, I couldn't see what was going on in the back. The inside is very nice and inviting and has many places to sit and a self serve station with plates, forks and cheese/pepper flakes for on top of the pizza

Visited the new Ankeny location for Dough Co this weekend! Restaurant is brand new not sure when they officially opened but the staff was friendly and the service was excellent. You order at the counter and pay type of situation. I instantly loved that you could order any pizza by the slice if you wanted. The menu has a good variety of pizza, salads and sandwiches too! Something for everyone. We ordered a 20" pizza which fed 3 kids and 1 adult, was 8 large slices! The pizza slices are huge which was great. And I ordered myself a slice of the Giovanni because it looked delish and I wanted to try it out- was really good. The crust was awesome, thin but no to thin and crispy. We loved the over sized booth in the back - big enough to fit our crew with kids. We really enjoyed this place for our first time, we will be back! So nice having fun new places open in the district!

We saw there were a few table so we decided to try it with the intention to be quick. Boy am I glad we did! Started with the sunrise juice, a carrot juice blend and the homemade strawberry lemonade both were so fresh and delicious. We tried the brown sugar and cinnamon pop tart and that was heaven in my mouth. So much flavor and goodness. I ordered the limoncello French toast and it is a slice of fresh baked lemon bread made into French toast. The flavors were rich and the texture was fluffy. A must try while it's in season. Others got the turkey and avocado Benedict and the pancakes with eggs and bacon. All cooked to perfection. Our server Jess was so nice and we did tip her well for being so last minute, but to our credit we were out of there at 6 mins after closing while everyone was still working to close up. Its fine on a nice day, but sucks if its extra warm or super cold. I know this isnt the fault of the restaurant, but the building owners . The ambiqnce is fine, if its busy it get a little louder than I'd like. Maybe some strategically placed sound dampening tiles? I get the industrial look, but with the concrete floors, its a bit of an echo chandler when itw busy.

We were greeted and asked if we were dining in (it appears they do a brisk takeout business) and were told to sit where we wanted. It was surprisingly crowded for a Sunday afternoon at 4 pm. The menu is extensive and hubby and I both like Mediterranean food. I chose the Falafel plate, served with five falafel balls, hummus, a pita, and Greek salad. The portion was generous (ended up taking two falafel home). Served with tahini and their house green sauce (olive oil, cilantro, and jalapeño) It wasn't spicy but it was so delicious - I could get addicted to this thinking of all the other ways so could enjoy it!! The Greek salad was served with house dressing - garlic and yogurt, also very good. The falafel was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and flavorful. The hummus was not at all grainy - smooth but just a tad bland. Hubby had the lamb skewers and liked them very much. Served with rice, salad, and hummus. He also took one of the skewers home. We both had the mango Fresca juice. A bit too sweet for me but I generally drink unsweetened beverages. Hubby liked it a lot. Service was friendly and we were checked on twice to ask how we liked our food. Generous portions, friendly service, good food, but not inexpensive (with tip, $55 for two) but what is inexpensive these days??
