This was a pleasant experience and we will be back. This entire county is a dream for middle-aged…read morewomen, but this is a place to get a reasonable meal as a guy not trying to lose their mind looking at quilts, etc. Food = Fish sandwich and noodle soup were both good at a fair price. They run out of pies throughout the day because they're not serving old pie here, but they're good and lots to choose from. Service = Very friendly. Sometimes a guy has questions, like "Why is there a log of cheese with my soup?" (even though it's awesome). But they answer in a friendly way. Restaurant = This place is busy, you will likely wait. Lots of seats, because apparently I'm not the only one that plans on going back after visiting. Clean and quick.

Lovely spot for lunch in Amish country! Be prepared to wait if you go on a weekend...luckily there…read moreare a couple of shops nearby though where you can browse while you wait to be texted that your table is ready. They close at 3pm, took our names at 2pm, and said it would be a 45 minute wait (which it was) but we didn't feel rushed once we were seated even though it was close to closing time. Our server was extremely friendly and great! Foodwise, we ordered the veggie quiche with a side of the house tomato basil soup and the bistro burger (bacon added) with a side of their soup of the day, cheesy potato. They have a variety of specialty coffee drinks but I chose to order the lightly sweetened peach tea for something different. My husband really enjoyed his burger and said it was well seasoned. He enjoyed the potato soup also and only wished they had fries to enjoy with the burger. My tomato basil soup was tasty! The quiche needed seasoning...I had to add salt and pepper and hot sauce and it could have done without all the extra cheese sprinkled on top. It came with a slice of blueberry bread though which was nice! The peach tea was refreshing as a change but I'd go with coffee next time. All in all we'd eat there again for sure and would try one of their delectable-looking pastries next time too. Thank you for a nice lunch, Rebecca's Bistro!

I've eaten here twice. Once for the dinner buffet and once for the breakfast buffet…read more If you come for the dinner buffet, especially during the summer months, there will likely be a wait. There is a shop right in the building and there is also a shop right outside of the restaurant if you need to kill time. Service was friendly but a bit scattered. There were times during my meal that my water was refilled without asking, but then later in the meal we had to hunt our server down for a water refill and for our check. The breakfast buffet has a nice variety of options. Bacon, two types of sausage, scrambled eggs, an egg scramble with peppers and onions, Amish cornmeal mush (it was served in fried cubes similar to hash brown consistency, biscuits and gravy and several dessert options. The apple crisp was warm and delicious. there was a frozen pineapple and banana desert that had too much banana flavor for my taste, but mu husband really enjoyed it. They also had fresh fruit and individual yogurts. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and food. It is a perfect place for a tasty meal of comfort food. But the size and pace of it made it feel less homemade and cozy and more corporate and rushed.

During our visit yesterday, all of the hot buffet items were cold with the exception of the broasted chicken which was good, however it ran out for about 15 minutes as it was popular since again all the other hot entrees were cold. Additionally at least three of the buffet plates had residual food after washing. Our server was nice and attentive, however the cost wasn't worth it, given the food was cold. It's been at least a decade since I was last there and now I remember why. We should have just driven the extra 15 minutes to Walnut Creek.
