This is how I'd describe them. If a coworker bings them to the office would I eat them? Of course! They're delicious. Would I go out of my way to buy them myself? Probably not for that price. The first time i tried them they were moist and all, the second time they were a lot more dry!! We even thought our friend had bought them the day before or something but she actually got them that same morning. They were also too sweet for my preference, some felt like eating 80% frosting and filling. The rice krispy one was like a mixture of crumbl cookie and a cinnamon roll. My first stop in SLC was Dough Lady. I had ran across a couple of ads on Yelp and Instagram. This is place is super adorable, looks like a little cottage and smells delightful! I just missed their biscoff cinnamon rolls but they do have frozen rolls, as take and bake. I got an original and a banana bread roll. I am currently sitting in the car stuffing my face LOL. I stopped by on a Sunday morning and snagged a couple cinnamon rolls-one for me and one to give to my son. Lucky for him, his made it home. Mine was destroyed as I drove down I-15. It was a tasty, yet messy endeavor. Was it the best cinnamon roll of my life? No, but it was pretty good. We were welcomed as we entered and were served quickly even on a Saturday morning when I expected it to be super packed. The smell of the shop is divine! However, I expected the cinnamon rolls to be more moist. They were all quite dry despite microwaving at home. I appreciate the microwave they include in the dining area of the shop. Came during a busy Mother's Day weekend I don't know what we were thinking. Parking was minimal and a bit of a headache coming with a big suv. 5 star for customer service, 5 star for beautiful & clean space, 5 star for FLAVOR(chefs kisses) however...,I write this with the best intent to hopefully get to the right people. We got 6 rolls and a latte(the newest lavender one). All of our rolls were DRY, flavor was there but with every bite it didn't get better unfortunately. I watched videos prior to coming and I was so excited for all the flavors we got. I also saw on one of the videos the claim that they don't sell day old rolls. I'm sorry, our rolls tasted like day old. We came around 12 noon on a Saturday?!? Maybe I'll try come right at opening? My son mentioned there was a microwave to warm it up, it tasted better after a warm up. My husband who's a baker mentioned if these were fresh day rolls, you wouldn't need to warm it up for it to be fluffy and soft. For $6 a pop, if this is a norm for it to be this dry it is not worth it. However, I'm not giving up and am going to try and give it another try but come earlier and I'll report then. As for the lavender latte, the coffee was not good if it weren't for the honeycomb. Espresso was lacking espresso flavor, you couldn't taste the lavender nor see any lavender(most places have a purple foam but there was none). Lots of honeycomb and milk or heavy cream of some sort. I was unfortunately not impressed at all. I would not get this coffee again. I will however try a different drink next time in hopes to have it be better. Maybe I just came on an off day. I went this weekend & ordered two peach cobbler cinnamon rolls, one blueberry lemon cinnamon roll, & one brown butter chai cinnamon roll. I also ordered an iced banana bread latte. I've been loving banana bread lattes lately & this one was by far the freshest one I've had. The shop is located off the main street in a refurbished home. There is a small "one way only" parking area. You can purchase fresh or frozen cinnamon rolls (and frozen dinner rolls when available). The fresh cinnamon rolls are purchased individually, but a 4-pack of frozen rolls are in foil in the freezers by the door. I was there on opening day, so it was very busy but their staff was very kind and grateful for all of us who stepped through the door. I think 4 employees thanked me for coming. The cafe is cute but small. Fine for family groups but not big enough for large parties. I brought my order home and my family liked the original best, followed by lemon-blueberry and brown butter chai both in second place, followed by gingerbread flavor. read more

The rolls are on the pricier but still worth the splurge hahah honestly incredible. One roll is about $7 and a box (comes with 4) is about $28. I've LOVED watching the journey of this business as Amy has become such a huge part of the local community and taken her business to the next level. The new storefront is perfect! She has monthly specials in addition to her always available staples. I tried this month's savory special - it was a good cheese, fig, and balsamic roll and was SO good. I also got the blueberry lemon roll and a regular cinnamon roll. You can get fresh rolls, or frozen rolls that you bake from home. She also has frozen dinner rolls. The staff is SO friendly, and Amy and her husband are often working the front as well! There are some small seating areas and it's just a beautifully and thoughtfully decorated space. This place was packed on a Saturday so parking and eating inside wasn't an option. Despite that, everyone who worked there was kind and patient. We tried the regular, brown butter chai, and lemon blueberry. The brown butter chai was a little too sweet, and the lemon blueberry was more refreshing. The customer service was excellent, which holds a lot of water with me. They even asked if my kids wanted edible glitter on their rolls (obviously they loved this). I got the brown butter chai, holy crap, I am a chai lover and this roll was IT! I would eat about 50 of these if it didn't send me into a diabetic coma! The flavor was just right! Absolutely AMAZING! We are visiting from Denver and I found this spot as we were getting ready to head back home. It was delicious!! The restaurant is so cute and has flowers with a little sitting nook, super cute for a coffee and breakfast date with a girlfriend. I wanted to love this so much. On vacation and I've been searching for cinnamon rolls that are ooey, gooey, soft, fluffy, with great flavor. I saw so many good reviews and pictures online that looked promising. The steep price of $6.50 per cinnamon roll almost had me not go but I decided, based off what I was seeing, to splurge and purchase one. Parking lot was easy to maneuver, good to get in and out of. Staff greeted me right away, told me about what they had to offer, and made suggestions. I ordered the blueberry lemon off recommendation as a favorite by the staff. It looked lovely and smelled fresh. Unfortunately, that's where the luster stopped for me. The lemon frosting was good but waaaay too sweet and over powered the blueberry flavor. The dough was on the drier side, definitely not soft and fluffy that I was expecting. Didn't get that good pull apart, more pull/tear because of being on the drier side. While it did have blueberry inside it wasn't gooey. Maybe I just got an off batch. If I was local I'd go back to try the regular cinnamon roll. We purchased two 4 packs of frozen cinnamon rolls to take home with us. I am happy to report that they successfully made the trip and I baked them as soon as we arrived home.
