London fog and brown butter chai rolls
    Michelle N.

I've been wanting to try this place for the longest time!! The cream cheese on the London fog roll was very good, a little bit too much of the earl grey tea leaves but overall still tasty. The brown butter chai was a tad too sweet for my liking but still enjoyable. I'd love to come back and try other flavors!

I've heard great things about the dough lady, and I'm a big fan of all things carbohydrates, so I figured this was a great match. I stopped by on a Sunday morning and snagged a couple cinnamon rolls-one for me and one to give to my son. Lucky for him, his made it home. Mine was destroyed as I drove down I-15. It was a tasty, yet messy endeavor. Was it the best cinnamon roll of my life? No, but it was pretty good. Worth risking my life to eat it and lick my fingers of the sticky mess as I drove down the road. I'd like to come back and get some of the frozen dinner rolls. Less mess and probably amazing.

Got the chance to check out this spot after being recommended by a couple of my friends. We were welcomed as we entered and were served quickly even on a Saturday morning when I expected it to be super packed. The smell of the shop is divine! However, I expected the cinnamon rolls to be more moist. They were all quite dry despite microwaving at home. I appreciate the microwave they include in the dining area of the shop. My friend and I got the Blueberry Lemon, Original, Fruity Pebbles, and Chai cinnamon rolls. Our favorites had to be the original and the chai, but it was all still very dry to us despite the hype I've seen from my friends and on social media.

Such an adorable setting ! Got a banana bread latte and was a bit disappointed in the lack of banana flavor. The cinnamon roll options are unique and flavorful !! My favorite was the blueberry lemon. Personally, I had a hard time getting the brown butter chai down as it had a bit too much cream for my taste. I loved that there were frozen options that were self serve to grab ! I would definitely come here again :)

This is one of the best cinnamon rolls I've had in my life. Like, it's tied for first place. Like it's better than homemade cinnamon rolls. This cinnamon roll was so good, I bought a 4 pack to bring to work, shared with the people, and every single person went "that is the best cinnamon roll I've ever had." I have now tried multiple flavors, and every single one was so delicious. This place does one thing and one thing only, and that thing is cinnamon rolls, but they mean business about baptizing you into the greatest cinnamon roll. Also the banana bread latte was really delicious. Banana and coffee is one of my favorite flavors right now and I was euphoric with Cinnamon Roll, but it was really tasty and worth trying.

The inside is really nice and cozy, very bright. Though the parking lot is kind of small, it's very easy to park and get in and out of. The people who work there are very kind and helpful if you are feeling indecisive. Pretty good cinnamon rolls, but I wish they were a tad bit more moist. Overall, I would probably come back and visit, their coffee is pretty good a bit on the bitter side which is what I personally like more.

Flavor on point, it was dry AF though :(

Came during a busy Mother's Day weekend I don't know what we were thinking. Parking was minimal and a bit of a headache coming with a big suv. 5 star for customer service, 5 star for beautiful & clean space, 5 star for FLAVOR(chefs kisses) however...,I write this with the best intent to hopefully get to the right people. We got 6 rolls and a latte(the newest lavender one). All of our rolls were DRY, flavor was there but with every bite it didn't get better unfortunately. I watched videos prior to coming and I was so excited for all the flavors we got. I also saw on one of the videos the claim that they don't sell day old rolls. I'm sorry, our rolls tasted like day old. We came around 12 noon on a Saturday?!? Maybe I'll try come right at opening? My son mentioned there was a microwave to warm it up, it tasted better after a warm up. My husband who's a baker mentioned if these were fresh day rolls, you wouldn't need to warm it up for it to be fluffy and soft. For $6 a pop, if this is a norm for it to be this dry it is not worth it. However, I'm not giving up and am going to try and give it another try but come earlier and I'll report then. As for the lavender latte, the coffee was not good if it weren't for the honeycomb. Espresso was lacking espresso flavor, you couldn't taste the lavender nor see any lavender(most places have a purple foam but there was none). Lots of honeycomb and milk or heavy cream of some sort. I was unfortunately not impressed at all. I would not get this coffee again. I will however try a different drink next time in hopes to have it be better. Maybe I just came on an off day. That really sucks that it happened to be the one day I had been waiting for and the one thing I wanted for Mothers Day. To eat the best cinnamon rolls, or at least I thought.

The staff that worked here were the cutest and sweetest women. We came in a larger group for a birthday party bite, and were ready to try everything. The seasonal blueberry iced latte was perfect, and they even had nondairy options for the coffees! Our friends were delighted by all the sweet and savory bun options, nothing was left uneaten.

The place is really cute and they had some delicious sounding coffee. I just got the banana bread cinnamon roll today and o really enjoyed it. I didn't warm it up how ever so I do regret that. My baby liked the ceiling fans lol.

I've heard tales of Dough Lady cinnamon rolls and I finally got to try them for myself... WOW! Absolute cinnamon roll perfection. These cinnamon rolls are made the way I like them -- gooey, not dry. There's plenty of flavor and plenty of flavor options. The price isn't great. It's kind of outrageous, actually. But if you can get past that, you can get yourself a sweet little treat.

    Chirelle P.

Okay, I've had these cinnamon rolls before & they are amazing! The seasonal cinnamon rolls are always fun & I had to try the peach cobbler cinnamon rolls! I went this weekend & ordered two peach cobbler cinnamon rolls, one blueberry lemon cinnamon roll, & one brown butter chai cinnamon roll. I also ordered an iced banana bread latte. I've been loving banana bread lattes lately & this one was by far the freshest one I've had. The other ones are likely more of an artificial banana flavoring & this one was definitely real bananas! & I could taste the difference! Took the cinnamon rolls home to share with my boyfriend. He loved the brown butter chai the most & I loved the blueberry lemon one the most. The peach cobbler was really good as well. Very gooey! Such a cute place, I love the owners story & watching her create this whole business! 100% check it out!

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 I'd be lying if I didn't say the Dough Lady SLC's rolls weren't some of the best I've had. They were all so soft and pillowy pieces of heaven that I couldn't get enough of! We got the Original Cinnamon Roll, Strawberries and Cream, Brown Butter Chai, Lemon Blueberry, and the Flavor of the Month (but I forgot what the name was!! It had cherry and almond though!) So. delicious. Can't wait to go back for more!

Each fresh roll is ordered separately, so no 4-packs or 6-packs, or bakers dozen.

The shop is located off the main street in a refurbished home. There is a small "one way only" parking area. You can purchase fresh or frozen cinnamon rolls (and frozen dinner rolls when available). The fresh cinnamon rolls are purchased individually, but a 4-pack of frozen rolls are in foil in the freezers by the door. I was there on opening day, so it was very busy but their staff was very kind and grateful for all of us who stepped through the door. I think 4 employees thanked me for coming. The cafe is cute but small. Fine for family groups but not big enough for large parties. I brought my order home and my family liked the original best, followed by lemon-blueberry and brown butter chai both in second place, followed by gingerbread flavor.

It was early, and it was already busy. TIPs & TRICKs Follow the rules: Get the tray, then the wax paper liner, then use the individual wax papers at the stations to grab what you want. While you're doing that, pay attention to the pricing, because it can add it. To see the plain butter croissants empty already was shocking, but when we told the employee she came back to not only stock it but came to us first and let us pick which ones we wanted off the tray That was very nice The pain du chocolat looked good and were lacking in depth and flakiness of the crunch The Chausson aux Pommes - was really good - They could have used another minute or two in the oven to get that golden brown. If you're looking for pastries that are as stunning as they are delicious, Fillings & Emulsions…read moreabsolutely delivers. Their fruit-shaped creations are little works of art--so realistic it almost feels wrong to eat them... almost. Each pastry is fresh, light, and packed with flavor. The pistachio was incredibly tasty, though definitely on the richer side, so it's one you might want to savor slowly. The raspberry had a beautifully balanced sweetness with a vibrant, delicious filling. The lemon was very zingy--almost intensely so--but still delightful if you enjoy bold citrus flavors (just maybe not an entire one in a single sitting). The standout, though, was the mango. Easily the winner. It had such a bright, powerful flavor, and the fresh mango inside made every bite feel special. Everything about it--from taste to presentation--was just beautiful. The only slight letdown was the macarons. While still good, they didn't quite match the intensity and uniqueness of the pastries and felt a bit underwhelming in comparison. Overall, this place is a must-visit if you appreciate creative, high-quality desserts. It's clear a lot of skill and care goes into every piece. I loved the building that the pastry shop was in, as it had a "lunch room" feel to it. There are a few restaurants inside so there are options and there's plenty of seating.

It was surprisingly busy on a Friday night, but we were seated quickly and service was fast. Two of us shared the French onion soup and Cobb salad, and both were excellent. If you plan to get to-go, you go to the to-go counter and they take your order. This time, we ate for here. Once we were seated with our menus, the staff probably took 10-15 to take our orders, which was a bummer. Though the place was pretty empty (we went really at 11 AM), the staff wasn't efficient enough. For drinks, we got the Cafe au lait and cappuccino. Again, these two didn't hit. The Cafe au lait was really watered down, and it sort of tasted like tea?? Nothing like the cafe au laits I've had in the past. My friend got the cappuccino, and I heard from her that the cappuccino was mediocre. We decided to share pastries: the mille feuille aux fraises, porcupine, and kouign-amann. The mille feuille is considered to be a local favorite! This pastry was good overall, but the Napoleon was really hard and there was a lot of cream. Plus, there were minimal strawberries. We ordered the porcupine because it was so interesting.. I don't think I've seen anything like this anywhere else. However, I felt like the porcupine was the most disappointing. There is a thick layer of chocolate coating, and the inside is a cake, chocolate, I presume? (The flavor lacked richness, so I literally had no idea what I putting in my mouth). In between the two layers of chocolate cake, there was thick cream and rasberry jam. It looked good, though, like a black forest cake! The kouign-amann was the best pastry we tried today. It was perfectly sweet, but I feel like it should be more airy and crunchy. The kouign-amann here is really dense and stiff. However, I don't think this pastry was a loss because of the perfection in sweetness. Im glad I gave Delice a try, but I don't think I'll be back.

To make things worse, several pastries sitting in the front display were visibly burnt. Not "artisan charred" -- just burnt. The pastries we ordered were actually good, which makes the rest of the menu even more disappointing. We tried the soft scramble, pork cheek tartine, truffle tartine, and mushroom fettuccine. Everything looked beautiful but tasted either burnt, bland, or both. Every toast item arrived burnt enough that you could taste it in every bite. Our server came by often to refill waters and check on us, but the service somehow still felt oddly impersonal. Since the restaurant wasn't busy at all, it also made us wonder how attentive the service would be during an actual rush.
