I had an incident which left my car undrivable and I was forced to relinquish my ability to do so at the time. I had to sign some paperwork and my vehicle was removed from site and relocated to Omaha Police Impound. I was told I could retrieve it the next day. I showed up first thing in the morning in my working vehicle and had to produce many forms of ownership. Title, license, and proof of insurance. Then I had to give them my Visa. no other card would work and they don't take checks. Much like Costco in that matter. I called my roadside assistance and they were able to bring my car from Impound to my driveway, free of charge. +1 for Progressive! Upon reading the papers I had, it states that you can have the Impound bring the vehicle to your home or designated location for $~125, or they will bring it to the lot for $99. Plus $39 a day storage, Plus $44 for documentation. As you might infer, It costs much less to bring your vehicle home. Please avoid this location unless you are going to the auction. You can get a great deal on a slightly broken motorbike!

They have the most amazing collection of public parks that I have ever seen and you will find some people cool sculptures here too. It separated from Iowa by the scenic Missouri River and you can easily cross state lines via a gorgeous pedestrian bridge. It is a pretty clean city and they are investing a lot of money into it and it shows. The city is the largest in the state of Nebraska and is home to the College World Series. The city is serviced by the electric ride share scooters which I took for a spin. They don't really have any professional sports teams. They do have Crieghton Bluejay college sports, a few soccer teams, minor league baseball and hockey teams, and an arena football team. The city is home to some major Fortune 500 companies including Berkshire Hathaway; one of the world's largest construction companies, Kiewit Corporation; insurance, Mutual of Omaha and Union Pacific Corporation. Some of Omaha's top attractions include: Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, First National's Spirit of Nebraska's Wilderness and Pioneer Courage Park, Gene Leahy Mall, Lewis and Clark Landing, Old Market, Heartland of America Park, the Henry Doorly Zoo and Charles Schwab Field, where the College World Series has been played since 2011. Do not sleep on Omaha. It is a pretty nice city to visit, with a lot to do.I was pleasantly surprised by what Omaha had going on. The people here are friendly and restaurants here have a unique atmosphere... a lot of old buildings but super nice inside. The views walking from downtown to the Old Market at night is beautiful. During the Winter it is super cold... plan some indoor activities. The airport flying into Omaha is super easy and doesn't take long to get through TSA on most days. Pretty small terminal. Omaha is home to some of the top 100 certified restaurants on the Good Food 100 List Omaha attraction is the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. Most people call him Bob. He's a 3,000-foot bridge floating over the Missouri River linking more than 150 miles of hiking and biking trails. The seats are uncomfortable unless you bring something else to sit on. I also like that you can sit inside so you're not freezing, that's another plus. The seats inside are only in one corner though so being able to see the game the whole time can be hard, keep that in mind. They don't sell any alcohol which isn't the end of the world but would make it better if they did. The people who work there are nice and keep it reasonably clean.

There have been so many changes in recent years due to the new addition to Westgate Elementary School next door. The parking lot coming in off Hascall is completely different. The park itself had some construction in recent years. The scary and probably dangerous tunnel has been leveled and replaced as has the sidewalks, stairs, and pathways around it. There's all new playground furniture. The dense tree line separating the park from the mortuary next door is gone. There is still a lot of open land to walk my dogs. I always feel pretty safe here, especially now, though there are always some randos sitting alone in their cars but I suspect that's all parks.

writing less than positive reviews is never fun…read more i had a package rerouted to this post office after i realized the original shipping address was incorrect. i went in today to pick it up after getting notified it was ready. they were slammed which is understandable and i'll never dock a place for being busy. the customer service i received was honestly, terrible. the lady helping me was very rude and it just kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. if i have to visit a USPS location in the future, i will probably choose a different location. i sincerely hope the USPS gets the support they deserve and i know COVID gas been hard on them, but a little kindness goes a long way! happy holidays yelpers!
