I've been with Dr. Adelson for almost 2 years now which was off a referral, and he and his staff always goes out of there way to ensure that I am VERY well taken care of. This includes follow up phone calls, prompt replies to my messages, I was even able to contact his staff after hours in order to tend to my post-dental work needs. This was above and beyond their usual friendly email & appointment reminders. I've grown to know the Adelson team and they're more than just a good dental office. I have waited to write a new review to see if the previous visits were just a fluke. After my poor experience I've been back twice this being the third time. I must say the hygienist I've had has been AMAZING. Her name is Elizabeth snd she is really the ONLY reason I continue to go back. Each time I come back there seems to be something new I'm hit with. This time I was told I had a $5 office visit fee. Instantly I knew this made no sense. I've been there on 4 previous visit and at no time has this office visit fee ever been mentioned. Mind you this fee is in addition to the cleaning cost. I asked what the fee was for and I was advised the fee is a charge based on something with my insurance. Now I'm really puzzled, what does my insurance have to do with your office fee. I ask for documents of this so I can call my insurance. This is where knowing what your insurance covers comes in. I have spoken to my insurance on several occasions (dealing with his dental clinic) so I am fully aware of my coverage and how the fees work. At no time has my insurance ever advised about office fees. I waited a few and the front desk reception comes back to advised me the office fee was an error and the fee I was charge the last visit would be credited back to me. I cannot understand how every time I go for my cleaning a new fee or charge is being sprung on me. As I left the office and was waiting on a receipt for today's cleaning, I overheard someone at the front desk speaking with a client. My biggest issue is that the conversation should have been held in a separate room not at the front desk where everyone in the lobby could hear. I basically heard all his dental issues, what the doctor is recommending him to get done and why he "can't" say no to the procedures. Isnt there HIPPA laws when it comes to things like this? I should not be hearing this and would have been upset if this was my information being disclosed to everyone in the room. Secondly I hear them giving him the same excuse why a person can't say no to the procedures or they wont be able to be seen at that location. The biggest excuse they gave him is "the doctor could lose their license if they over look what they want him to get done. This I know for a fact is not true. You can always go to another dentist if one deny you service. If you go to this company make sure you know what your insurance plan covers and how much they can charge. When in doubt ask for a printout with the code and fee so you can run it by your insurance. If you dont have insurance shop around before settling with a cost. Luckily I havent had to have any major work done. The only work I've done has been cleanings and my cleanings have been good. Overall the clinic is ok. As I've said the hygienist I have been seeing is truly amazing. She is very gentle with the cleaning yet gets all the areas cleaned, even my wisdom teeth which are my problem areas. She has given me recommendations on tools to help with those areas. Overall she is just the sweetest. She is a gem to the company and I look forward to coming to her each time. She is the reason for the high stars. Please don't rely solely on my review, do give this place and try and judge for yourself. Maybe you will have a great experience. If you do decide on this clinic I hope you can get her as your hygienist.

They have all the most modern equipment, and their staff is super efficient. On top of that the technician who cleaned my teeth was so careful and talented that there was not even one small nick of my gums, and I require a deep cleaning. Plus, their scheduling is super efficient with timely email and text reminders. Add to all this is most everything is covered 100% by my insurance. Also during any dental procedure she'll talk during it and make sure you know what she's doing before doing it and what the sensation should feel like. I obviously thought it was to get me in and then sell me everything under the moon. To my surprise when I got there they took a look and gave me a free cleaning prior to whitening since I had one over 6 months ago. I then explained that my other dentist had been pushing me to get a deep cleaning which is very expensive. Dr Dulay had my gum/teeth measured and took 4 xtray all free of cost. Instead of the expensive deep cleaning she said says lets do cleaning more often and see how it progesses and if needed only do the two areas instead of the entire mouth which my other dentist instisted upon. The Dr. and his staff were able to save an upper molar that had chipped and the filling fell out. I also paid the full patient portion quoted to me upfront, based on the treatment plan they provided. Months later, I received an unexpected bill claiming insurance didn't cover as much as the office expected. Despite doing my due diligence, paying what was required, I was repeatedly threatened with collections. I even went through the trouble of filing a formal appeal with Aetna, which was denied simply because of timing. This process has been stressful, time-consuming, and felt very misleading from start to finish. I've since resolved the balance just to avoid collections, but I will never return to this office and wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants honest billing practices or respect as a patient.
