This was my first time being at this office. Haven't met Dr. Skarada but I felt well taken care of by everyone.

I had several appointments cancelled after I had complications following my sinusoft procedure with Dr. Skarada. When I finally got in 6 weeks after I notified them of complications, my cone beam scan showed a blockage of my sinus and retained fluid in my sinuses. I was given a course of antibiotics and no one from his office followed up with me. My primary contacted the office to follow up with Dr. Skarada because she was worried about the absence of a care plan. It took 7 weeks for Dr. Skarada to make time to speak with her about my care. I have been suffering with debilitating migraines from the sinus pressure since April when the complications began and there is no concrete plan for my care moving forward with Modern Nose. I had to make an appointment at another ENT because of the absence of follow up care with Dr Skarada's office even after getting my primary doctor involved.

My ears ring and are plugged all of the time. My left sinus smells like a wet dog and it's painful all day every day. THEN when you request some sort or assistance for the second time and for and in-person evaluation for your 5 year old daughter that is in and out of the hospital for asthma complications they will refuse her care and let you know the doctor has declined your referral entirely. Is it so awful to want an in-person evaluation after a recent ER visit? To have the provider actually listen to her heart and lungs with a standard exam? I guess in Dr. Wassem's world it is. And when you advocate for your child, you become the problem AND YOUR HONEST REVIEW TELLING PEOPLE TO AVOID THEM IS DELETED. Take your child literally anywhere else. If I could give them negative stars I would. If this gets deleted, I'll post it again, and again, and again. This is the truth if you don't want it out, don't treat people this way. After my first request was ignored, this is what I sent them on their contact us form, and their medical assistant called me the next morning to notify me that Dr. Wassem could not accommodate an in-person evaluation AND he was declining my daughter's referral. The only thing they did without delay was refuse my daughter's care. "I am trying to reset my password for the patient portal so I can log in for my daughter's appointment on Friday. I have requested a reset email 3 times now and received nothing. When this appointment was made I requested an in-person appointment due to tech issues with the first virtual appointment, where the email I was sent said click this link to your appointment, it didn't work and when I called I was told no, don't click the link, you have to log into the portal. The portal which will not let me log in nor reset the password. My daughter, 5 yo patient, had an asthma attack in the middle of the night and I had to call EMS and go to the ER on 1/24/26. I'd REALLY like to address my concerns at an IN PERSON new patient evaluation. I do not understand why I am meeting so many barriers to establishing care. I would appreciate a call from management to schedule. I am not an inept patient parent. I run 8 urgent cares. I know how patients should be treated and this is missing the mark. If my daughter is being refused care, please let me know formally, without delay. Thank you."

When they arrived we were not greeted or anything, and again waited another 10 minutes for the new patient paperwork (which we most of the time get in the mail and did not from them). We then finally got called back the room only to find out that they didn't have their computer so paperwork was redundantly gone over; once without the computer and then with it. Keep in mind that we were referred to this clinic specifically for allergy testing. Once the intention of the visit was discussed (that we waited 2 months for) with the dr, he said allergy testing can only take place after allergy meds are not taken for over a week so we would need another appointment. We would have GLADLY stopped taking meds prior to this appointment had anyone communicated. Talk about a waste of my $40. Took an hour just to find out they couldn't provide needed care due to their own lack of organization and communication. There are plenty of allergy and asthma specialists on this earth, don't bother with this very unprofessional and unorganized office.

Since I had gone in only to see about allergy shots I was beyond shocked to find someone who knew what was wrong with me after all these decades, and she actually gave me my diagnosis which was confirmed later with a genetic test. Dr. Price is an out of the box creative thinker and has helped me with my systemic condition with a few unusual but effective remedies. She is undaunted by complex conditions and is one of the few doctors that are truly knowledgeable about my diagnosis in Portland, and I feel grateful that I am able to be seen by her. The practice is very busy and had a six month wait for a new patient at the time, but it was well worth that long wait.

Relaxing music flowed through the airy bright, non-traditional office space. The vibe was relaxing and her attentive team walked me through each step of the process. I was hoping for a more comprehensive blood food test but I settled for a prick test that tops out at 10 foods. Highly recommended!!

The office was very clean, and they had a large waiting area with tons of toys for the kids to play with. The wait was about 5 minutes which wasn't bad. The nurses were very kind and helpful. My boy had a full test with 35 different allergens on his back and the nurse did a great job and telling him what was going on so he wouldn't be scared. Once she found out he was very allergic to dust mites, she gave him a shot of another type of dust mite and did it well enough to not make him cry. The boy was quite proud of not crying! So I thank her for that. They did equally as well with my daughter....She had 5 allergens on her back which all worked out well. Dr. Rohr was nice and knowledgeable VERY thorough and detailed on all aspects. Only down side is we were there at 915am and we didn't get out of there until 12:45pm. 3 1/2 hours was INSANELY ridiculous. If they couldn't shorten the process up that would be great. But overall, they found out a lot of allergens that was bugging our kids, and it's nice to know how to keep them away from it. I would like to give 4 stars to them ONLY BECAUSE Dr. Rohr came off as genuinely caring for the kids and their well being.

They told me they would block off 2 hours for my "comprehensive new patient appointment". I had to fill out 12 separate forms ahead of time documenting my allergy, including multiple duplications of the same information about symptoms. The doctor saw me for no more than 10 minutes, ran no tests, did not come within 10 ft of me, performed no examination of symptoms. She read my forms back to me, informed me that there was a 90% chance she would not be able to find the cause but would be willing run several tests (read: spend a lot of my money) to try. I left having to book a second appointment (for another charge) to get lab work done in another location--I never went. The charge: $382. The whole thing felt like a scam to bill insurance companies.

However, there was a misunderstanding. I had severe headaches & dizziness, & both doctors suggested I get an MRI. Hospital found a meningioma behind the right occipital lobe in my brain, with very slight brain bleed. It scared me. When I returned in a few days after the diagnosis, both Allergist & Primary Care fired me as a patient. I'd gone to see my Allergist, Kraig, & he was having issues w/home health w/his wife who was suffering from MS. He wasn't in a pleasant mood, & neither was his assistant, who made my visit a very sour one, as she was belligerent/ (this was around 2010). To this day, I don't understand what I did or didn't do. I felt so sad, bc I really liked my care @ Oak St. Medical! Above all, I loved both my doctors. I'd recommend them both to anyone, even though I was asked not to come back after my diagnosis.
