Let me just start by saying that Douglas is an amazingly genuine human being. His sincerity and honesty is unparalleled. We are from Dallas and our car got stuck in 4 WD on a Saturday in Fredericksburg. We called Onstar to send a tow truck and Douglas arrived. He worked to try to get the car "unstuck" and when that didn't work he called everyone in town to try to get our car to the right service department and to try to get us a rent car. When it looked like we were out of luck finding a rent car, he offered to drive us to San Antonio in his personal vehicle to get us a car! Then he towed us to Bob Price's dealership in Fredericksburg (another outstanding experience) where they not only took our car late on a Saturday afternoon but they gave us a loaner free of charge. But for Douglas, we would have been stuck in Fredericksburg for days!!! There is no one better than Douglas that I have encountered. Our car broke down while in the Texas Hill Country and Doug came to the rescue. It was late afternoon, and many places were closing for the day. He arrived quickly and he was very friendly. First he called the mechanic the car was set to go to, and made sure that they could accept the car and had the capacity to fix it the following day. Once our car was loaded, he tested the battery and found out that it was only the battery that needed to be changed. We drove to an AutoZone, and he helped us change the battery and saved me a TON of time and money by avoiding a trip to the mechanic. I can't say enough about how great Doug is. My fiance and I were on vacation in Fredericksburg, and my 2003 Suburban broke down. I called Triple A, and Doug's only obligation was to take me to a car shop. However, he diagnosed the problem, took me to Autozone, and helped get my car running (worked on it for about 25 minutes while it was 24 degrees and windy outside). Stuck in Kerrville on father's day. While driving something popped up and and punched a hole in our radiator . We were dead in the water. Douglas came to the rescue and was able to tow our car to the dealership in Boerne. He dropped it off after hours and put our car key in their dropbox along with a note for them to call us. It is always tough when you are away from home and you have car issues. You pray that you find someone you can trust. Douglas is someone you can trust!! I wish everyone was like him. A few weeks ago I went to a camp in the middle of nowhere for the weekend. It was 14° outside and I left all my sleeping stuff, jackets, and blankets in my car and just happened to lock my keys in my car. Called 3 different places and no one wanted to come out that far as it was about 30 mins from anything, at night, and at the end of a very long dirt road. Douglas was so genuine and honest! Instead of charging me to tow my car from Fredericksburg to San Antonio after hitting a deer, he evaluated it himself and reassured me it was good to drive. He checked out the engine and helped tear off loose parts of the messed up bumper for safe travels. We has a blow out on why 16 and didn't have the tools to remove the damaged tire, I called Douglas and they came out immediately, not only did he get us off the road and over to a repair shop quickly but also gave us some helpful tips on fun event and restaurants to visit in Fredericksburg, way to take lemons and turn them into lemonade. My tire blew up about 10 minutes outside of Fredericksburg. Called Douglas Towing and they were there within 15 minutes. I was shocked - have waited up to 3 hours in Austin for towing from another service. Took great care of me and my car, got me to where I could get my tire replaced immediately. Returned my husbands call and offered to go out and try to get his truck out of mud with his own truck when other tow truck companies wouldn't even try it with their tow truck !
