I can't say enough good things about the experience I had with this company and the technician who helped me when I locked my keys in my car. I was stranded four hours from home, exhausted, emotional, and not in the best shape after a long drive and a crazy work week. The guy they sent (a super professional blonde guy who's been with the company over 10 years--I'm so mad I can't remember his name!) not only arrived Jimmy John's quick but seriously turned my whole day around. Not only did he know exactly what to do, but he had me laughing with jokes while still being totally on top of things. Being that I drive a Toyota it's safety features were being a pain--it kept relocking itself and setting off the alarm while he tried to get in, so he had to pop the hood and disconnect the battery to get the keys out(which he forewarned me about). On top of it being a fussy Toyota, my driver door is messed-up & my hood latch, so I know my service was a PITA but he stayed calm and patient the entire time. I was so grateful he was the one sent out. He wouldn't even let me tip him! I honestly couldn't not have had a better experience. Was enjoying a nice hill country drive while heading back to get on the highway to head home in San Antonio when my fuel pump decided to give out. Called 4 places including AAA before contacting Midway and getting an extremely GREAT price for the 70 mile tow back home. Waited about 30 minutes for the driver to arrive. Informed my driver, Chris that my car was lower than most and may need the bumper removed to make it up his flat bed. He was extremely knowledgeable and got my car on without removing the bumper and without having the winch cable touch my car. He even wrapped my wheels to protect them (being they are expensive OEM high performance wheels) with towels while strapping my vehicle down. Great conversation as my grandmother and I hitched back with to San Antonio. He dropped my car into my garage as carefully as he loaded it up! His added attention and extreme professionalism made this terrible experience pleasing! I've dealt with a few wreckers who charge more for a lot less customer satisfaction. I was a nervous wreck being with all the kids that far away from home, but as soon as I called Midway the gentleman answering the phone was polite, calm, and helped me feel at ease. They arrived within 20 minutes and the guy who came quickly pinpointed what the issue was (alternator). He started our vehicle and we were able to get it to an auto parts store so that we could get the part. It was fixed by that evening! Excellent service. My Volvo would not start (faulty ignition switch) after getting fuel at an Exxon station. I called the Volvo 800 number and they sent Midway. Our original plan was tow from Kerrville to San Antonio (Volvo dealer), but the driver suggested that he and his boss could get the Volvo started. They patiently worked on it for a couple hours and eventually were able to bypass the faulty part, so we were able to drive home. Chris and Anthony were courteous and knew what they were doing. We were suddenly stranded beneath an underpass on I-10 West of Junction, Texas! It was our worst possible camping nightmare! Huge semi-tractor trailers were zooming past us at 80 MPH! Wrecker Driver Chris was our Hero! He got us, and our camper out of immediate jeopardy, and safely towed our camper to a spot where our our braking system could be repaired.
