My catalytic converter was replaced at Leon and was still under warranty when it started to leak in…read morethe spring 2026. Shippee Auto flagged the leak and said I should go back to Leon to have it replaced. Leon checked the leak on 5/15/26, confirmed it was coming from the other catalytic converter (the less expensive one), and wrote me an estimate for work I did not need. Today I go back to Shippee's for something else, and they confirm for a second time that the leak is indeed coming from the catalytic converter Leon replaced. They either did subpar work and/or used a subpar part, refused to stand behind it, and then attempted to sell me on work that I did not need.
